Bible Question (short): Are the "people" in Matt. 13 unsaveable? |
Question (full): Given: The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10) However, in Matt. 13:10, when Jesus is asked why he speaks in parables, His answer seems to imply that He does so not to aid in the people in their understanding, but to confound it..."Otherwise they might see...hear...and understand... and turn and I would heal them." And this because "in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah." So, then, has Jesus written them off as unreachable and unsaveable? |
