AMPLIFIED 2015					2 Sam 3:7 Now Saul had a ¹concubine whose name was Rizpah the daughter of Aiah; and Ish-bosheth said to Abner, ²"Why have you gone in to my father's concubine?"

Being intimate with the former king's concubine was a way for Abner to assert a claim on the throne.
