Tim, this is not to oppose the answer given to you by kalos, but some things we can discuss on. Ex 32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Ex 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. 83 | Does GOD change as centuries pass by. | Mal 3:6 | jlpangilinan | 162965
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Ps 102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: Ps 102:27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. Gods the Father did not change, if we saw teaching like those in OT, it is not mean that God change, people change not God. When God gave those commandments in OT, it is mean that those commandments are suit for those people alive on those times. When God the Father sent His Begotten son it is not because he change, it is a part of a divine plan for salvation, and not because He change. As we all knew that prophecies about Christ was written in the old testament, even in the time of Moses. De 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. Also of Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. This is not because our God change, it is happen because God knows what is better for us. God bless, |

Re 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 85 | why would God allow his son to die fo us | John 3:16 | jlpangilinan | 137815
Simple, the reason why God allow His son to die for us because of John 3:16 Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. You said: "How could God allow this to happen to his own son. Is this not murder. What makes you think he will protect you if he wouldn't protect his own son" Do you think God will not protect Jesus if He want to? Mt 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Mt 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? Mt 26:54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? It is the fulfillment of the scriptures that Christ must crossified for you and for me, so it is not us to suffer for our sins but Him (Christ) The death of Christ is voluntarily, do you think those who kill him can touch them if God not allowed them? De 32:39 ¶ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. NO! no one can deliver out of His hand! NO ONE! To that lady you said that do not believed in God, there is still time, this is my message to her. Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. God bless, |

86 | who is god | Ex 6:3 | jlpangilinan | 136523
The Supreme Being, creator of heaven and earth. Ge 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Holy and Jealous God Jos 24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. No one can deliver out of his hand De 32:39 ¶ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. Never change: Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. In His hand is the soul of every living thing: Job 12:9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. He cannot lie: Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; above all a Lving God: 1Jo 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Those are some of God qualities, His name in hebrew was YHWH, too many names created with that hebrew letters. God names was mentioned in Isa 63:16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. Father God everlasting name. Jesus Christ in the new testament did not mentioned any name in refer to His Father but "Father" "Our Father" "My Father" Christ did call His Father Yaweh or Jehovah or other names. God bless, |

How about mary and apostle paul, apostle paul are the most hardworking apostle of all times, because of him the Christianity possibly reach the place its such as yours and mine, did you consider that. Apostle paul exchange his riches and education to burden, he evangelize the word of God as no one can do. He has a good life and respected and highly educated, but he rejected that enable to served Christ. I am not degrading what moses did to his people, moses died and god buried him, paul was put behind bars because of his testimony of Christ, he was tutured, beheaded which was a very painful death. Paul This first imprisonment came at length to a close, Paul having been acquitted, probably because no witnesses appeared against him. Once more he set out on his missionary labours, probably visiting western and eastern Europe and Asia Minor. During this period of freedom he wrote his First Epistle to Timothy and his Epistle to Titus. The year of his release was signalized by the burning of Rome, which Nero saw fit to attribute to the Christians. A fierce persecution now broke out against the Christians. Paul was siezed, and once more conveyed to Rome a prisoner. During this imprisonment he probably wrote the Second Epistle to Timothy, the last he ever wrote. "There can be little doubt that he appered again at Nero's bar, and this time the charge did not break down. In all history there is not a more startling illustration of the irony of human life than this scene of Paul at the bar of Nero. On the judgment-seat, clad in the imperial purple, sat a man who, in a bad world, had attained the eminence of being the very worst and meanest being in it, a man stained with every crime, a man whose whole being was so steeped in every nameable and unnameable vice, that body and soul of him were, as some one said at the time, nothing but a compound of mud and blood; and in the prisoner's dock stood the best man the world possessed, his hair whitened with labours for the good of men and the glory of God. The trial ended: Paul was condemned, and delivered over to the executioner. He was led out of the city, with a crowd of the lowest rabble at his heels. The fatal spot was reached; he knelt beside the block; the headsman's axe gleamed in the sun and fell; and the head of the apostle of the world rolled down in the dust" (probably A.D. 66), four years before the fall of Jerusalem. |

93 | Why did god choose Israel as his people? | Gen 22:18 | jlpangilinan | 131564
As God He knew that what He has done choosing israel as His people is the perfect thing to do because He is God. De 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Also, it maybe because of the faithful heart of Abraham. Ge 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Ge 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: Ge 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; God sworn to abraham, to bless the seed of Abraham, it so happen that the seed of abraham was Isaac, and Jacob as son of Isaac which was called ISRAEL. Ge 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Again, it just so happened that the descendants of abraham are not Chinese, American, Russian, but Israelites. God bless, |

94 | y is it harder for a rich man to enter.. | Luke 13:24 | jlpangilinan | 130839
It was taught "eye of a neddle" mentiond is the gate for the camel, it is a hole in the wale sperated from the gate which people enter. Christ always gave parables based on what people can see around them. It is impossible to the camel to pass that gate "eye of a neddle" if the baggages is still with the camel. But if someone removed that baggages from the camel, the camel can pass that gate "eye of a neddle" because it is really designed for the Camel. That is the parable based. A rich person is like a camel with a lot of baggages attached to him passing that gate "eye of a neddle" if the rich person will not removed that baggage (priorities his wealth instead of God) Mt. 19:21-22. it is impossible to him to pass. If the parable is based on a phisical neddle which is very small, it is almost we are saying that there is no rich man can enter the Kingdom of God. Mt 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Mt 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Dont worry my friend, it is really impossible to a camel to pass that eye of a neddle, maybe it is more difficult to the rich man to enter. But is God will do that not us. If God want anyone to enter in a neddle eye, He can do it. Mt 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. That things would be very difficult for us, not for our God. God bless, |

95 | who were the Sadducces and Parisees | Bible general Archive 2 | jlpangilinan | 127807
Here are information about them, you can find it your self in the scriptures following the quoted chapters and verses. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY ENTRY ON: Sadducees The origin of this Jewish sect cannot definitely be traced. It was probably the outcome of the influence of Grecian customs and philosophy during the period of Greek domination. The first time they are met with is in connection with John the Baptist's ministry. They came out to him when on the banks of the Jordan, and he said to them, "O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?" (Mt 3:7.) The next time they are spoken of they are represented as coming to our Lord tempting him. He calls them "hypocrites" and "a wicked and adulterous generation" (Mt 16:1-4; 22:23). The only reference to them in the Gospels of Mark (Mr 12:18-27) and Luke (Lu 20:27-38) is their attempting to ridicule the doctrine of the resurrection, which they denied, as they also denied the existence of angels. They are never mentioned in John's Gospel. There were many Sadducees among the "elders" of the Sanhedrin. They seem, indeed, to have been as numerous as the Pharisees (Ac 23:6). They showed their hatred of Jesus in taking part in his condemnation (Mt 16:21; 26:1-3,59; Mr 8:31; 15:1; Lu 9:22; 22:66). They endeavoured to prohibit the apostles from preaching the resurrection of Christ (Ac 2:24,31-32; 4:1-2; 5:17,24-28). They were the deists or sceptics of that age. They do not appear as a separate sect after the destruction of Jerusalem. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY ENTRY ON: Pharisees separatists (Heb persahin, from parash, "to separate"). They were probably the successors of the Assideans (i.e., the "pious"), a party that originated in the time of Antiochus Epiphanes in revolt against his heathenizing policy. The first mention of them is in a description by Josephus of the three sects or schools into which the Jews were divided (B.C. 145). The other two sects were the Essenes and the Sadducees. In the time of our Lord they were the popular party (Joh 7:48). They were extremely accurate and minute in all matters appertaining to the law of Moses (Mt 9:14; 23:15; Lu 11:39; 18:12). Paul, when brought before the council of Jerusalem, professed himself a Pharisee (Ac 23:6-8; 26:4-5). There was much that was sound in their creed, yet their system of religion was a form and nothing more. Theirs was a very lax morality (Mt 5:20; 15:4,8; 23:3,14,23,25; Joh 8:7). On the first notice of them in the New Testament (Mt 3:7), they are ranked by our Lord with the Sadducees as a "generation of vipers." They were noted for their self-righteousness and their pride (Mt 9:11; Lu 7:39; 18:11-12). They were frequently rebuked by our Lord (Mt 12:39; 16:1-4). From the very beginning of his ministry the Pharisees showed themselves bitter and persistent enemies of our Lord. They could not bear his doctrines, and they sought by every means to destroy his influence among the people. God bless, |

98 | who was the Sanhedrin | NT general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 127802
In addition to information you received. EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY ENTRY ON: Sanhedrim more correctly Sanhedrin (Gr. synedrion), meaning "a sitting together," or a "council." This word (rendered "council," A.V.) is frequently used in the New Testament (Mt 5:22; 26:59; Mr 15:1, etc.) to denote the supreme judicial and administrative council of the Jews, which, it is said, was first instituted by Moses, and was composed of seventy men (Nu 11:16-17). But that seems to have been only a temporary arrangement which Moses made. This council is with greater probability supposed to have originated among the Jews when they were under the domination of the Syrian kings in the time of the Maccabees. The name is first employed by the Jewish historian Josephus. This "council" is referred to simply as the "chief priests and elders of the people" (Mt 26:3,47,57,59; 27:1,3,12,20, etc.), before whom Christ was tried on the charge of claiming to be the Messiah. Peter and John were also brought before it for promulgating heresy (Ac 4:1-23; 5:17-41); as was also Stephen on a charge of blasphemy (Ac 6:12-15), and Paul for violating a temple by-law (Ac 22:30; 23:1-10). The Sanhedrin is said to have consisted of seventy-one members, the high priest being president. They were of three classes (1) the chief priests, or heads of the twenty-four priestly courses (1Ch 24:1-31), (2) the scribes, and (3) the elders. As the highest court of judicature, "in all causes and over all persons, ecclesiastical and civil, supreme," its decrees were binding, not only on the Jews in Palestine, but on all Jews wherever scattered abroad. Its jurisdiction was greatly curtailed by Herod, and afterwards by the Romans. Its usual place of meeting was within the precincts of the temple, in the hall "Gazith," but it sometimes met also in the house of the high priest (Mt 26:3), who was assisted by two vice-presidents.
