Regarding the possibility of the creation of Mankind Gen 1:26 and the special Man of 2:7 If you have a Strongs concordance and a Hebrew lexicon that uses the Strongs numbering system look it up. The Hebrew word #120 adam (aw-dawm) came translate either man or mankind, species or decendants. Depending weather or nor an artlicle is used with it or not determines the usage. With the particle ('eth) and the artlicle it is very emphatic meaning this self, very, this same, this very! In Gen 1:26-27, and several other places it is without the article, possible meaning mankind followed by plural pronoun. In Gen 2:7 twice and 8,15,16,19,22 twice, 3:12, 22,24,. The Pronoun Adam assumes the nature of a proper name, as denoting " the man " as the only of its kind. (page 13 Hebrew Lexicon under Man.#120 Strongs) In Gen 6 it talks about the sons of GOD taking the sons of man. You don't need to say things about angles to make sence of it. The word also talks about some made for honor and some for distruction. Jesus stems from adam the christ-line, also referred to as the life-line. Eve being the mother of all living. I'm not willing to die over it but its worth consideration. TKO |

Steve, I beleive the whole time frame from the 1st to the 21st of the month (abib later called nisson) was called the passover feast. I also think there is some signifagence to the passover lamb to be cossen out of the 1st year without blemish and the whole congregation was to take part in the selection. I'm not willing to die over it but I think it deserves consideration, TKO |

Steve, No, I'M saying that the refference of passover in the 2nd chapt. is reffering to the time of the preperation, (which is a time of cleaning 7 days and of choosing the lamb.) Not the accual meal. This time period was all spoke about as the passover feast, It mention the passover was at hand. There was a week to ten days for the traveling back and forth and the Sameria 2 days. TKO |

Steve, I think the passover in the 2 chpt. is the same feast in the 6th chpt. The whole feast of passover started with the preperation on the 1st of Nisson (the 1st month in the Jewish calander)lasted to the 14th which was the actual passover meal though the 21st which was the feast of the unleaven . When jesus first came to Jerusalem chpt 2 then went back to Galilee it was only about a days journey although he stayed in Samaria 2 days. Also when he returned to Galilee he healed the man by the pool, it's said it was only his second miricle. I would think there were more miricals than that in a years time. Just a thought, i'm always open for discussion. Thanks |
