81 | Did this war already occur? | Rev 12:7 | Emmy | 116127
Revelation is a book of prophesy for the time just before and shortly after Christ's return. The tribulations and wars of those times has not yet occured. The reason why is that in the prophesies it says there is again a temple in Jerusalem (Jewish Temple) This clearly is not the case yet, nor has it been for almost 2000 years since the dispersion of Jews by the Romans in 70 AD. Simply stated, if the event prophesied in Revelations include a Jewish temple in Jerusalem, there must be a temple there at the time of the prophesied events. |

82 | spirit and soul Difference? | Is 34:16 | Emmy | 116126
Soul and Spirit: A soul is a spirit. SOUL Your soul is "you". Your physical body that other can see, is not you. Your body is just dust. Your soul resides in your body. Your soul can live without your present body. Your body dies if the soul is taken out. Other spirits can reside in your body too, including an evil spirit, or the HOLY SPIRIT. In your body only ONE spirit is your soul. That one spirit is "you" SPIRIT There are many spirits Spirits can live outside of bodies. Other spirits can be in your body, and affect how you act and think. One of these spirits that can do this is the HOLY SPIRIT. It encouranges your soul to live following Christ. It is your teacher, the only one you really need, and the only one you can really trust. It treaches the soul the truth about God. 1John 2: 26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him. |

83 | Dead in Christ, what does this mean? | Rom 6:3 | Emmy | 116124
Dead in Christ: The dead in Christ are resurrected when He returns. These will rule with Him for 1000 years. They also meet him in the air along with those that are changed in the twinkling of an eye. They will live with the Lord forever. To be dead in Christ means the person died, but before he died he was a true Christian. He/she was a believer in Christ and was born again. ie received the Holy Spirit. It is simply a person who having the Holy Spirit in him/her dies. sincerely Henry |

84 | Who does the Father draw to Christ? | John 6:44 | Emmy | 115364
Christ died once for all it says in scriptures. This means all have the opportunity to be saved by Christ's sacrifice. Not all take advantage of the offer, andreject it for one reason or another. God the Father knows who are searching HIm out. He draws these to Christ, and Christ in turn teaches those drawn to Him about the Father. Not only does he give them information on understanding the Father, but His sacrifice actually cleanses them from sin so that they are redeemed as sons to the Father. |

85 | What is meant by "last day" in John 6:44 | Not Specified | Emmy | 115309
John 6: 44"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the "last day." Thoughts about John 6:44 "Last day" is singular in all translations of scripture I have. It seems to refer to Jesus resurrecting people. There are many days after the resurrection, so it seems not to mean the last day with never another day to come after it. I assume this speaks of the 1st resurrection, since He is resurrecting people the Father has drawn to Him (Jesus) Question: What is it about this day of resurrection that it is called the last day ? This is the last day of WHAT ??? What ceases in this day that will never occur again ? |
