81 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38595
to-diosdado-Makarios-emmaus-john reformed-edb-lionstrong-dylman----Wow!-everyone is in on this. and what great mental exercise it is, Today at work-a woman was bold enough to speak the name of Jesus in my presence and suggest that "praise comes before knowledge"--Today God moved on one person to assist another in the daily work we do. This seems more important to me than all our mental gymnastics, in Him angel1
82 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38662
hi EdB-thx for reply-He is the potter--we are the clay--keep spinning around and getting shaped-in Him angel1
83 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38665
Hi joe-thx for reply-your scriptures are wonderful you make me think--what is praise of God?-is it not -according to the scriptures -simply sharing with others all His works past and present? in Him angel1
84 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38892
Hi Joe thx for reply-I read the psalms often my favorite is 139. I guess what is on my mind is that it seems to me we study what God has done and what He will do but we don't talk much about what He is doing today except as it relates to prophesy. I think He's still working with us individually and i'd like to hear more about that too. in Him angel1
85 | Mark: Two narrative composition? | Mark | angel1 | 37341
hi thx for response-I have a time line problem here-you say mathew and luke follow mark-both math. and luke were deciples of Jesus. Mark is the "john mark " of Pauls ministry . Doesn't this mean you are starting with a false premise? Also you state "like most I hold to the primacy of the gospel of Mark."-Most don't hold to that. in Him angel1
86 | Mark: Two narrative composition? | Mark | angel1 | 37396

88 | Was Satan speaking through Peter ?? | Mark 8:33 | angel1 | 40950
chearie,prayon,jerhovah52- If we check the amplified version the pictuire is more clear. Jesus' "rebuke" to Peter was in turning His back to him. Jesus then addresses Satan-not Peter. Satan was using Peter to try to talk Jesus out of completing His work. Jesus was always aware of activity in the spirit world as well as what was going on in the physical world. Cherie-I,m 100percent saved too and am being-sanctified-over time just as the pot is still being shaped by the potter. in Him angel1
89 | Why admit Two Prophets were not THERE? | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44178

90 | God's Kingdom Power comes near the SC | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44186
I think we must go to the KJV here--Mark8-32-38 sets the point of9-1-"Verily I say unto you-that there be some of THEM-that will not taste ofdeath until-----"we must make the distinction between His disciples and "them". Jesus knows always the spirits behind each person--these spirits will not "die" until Jesus comes again. in Him-angel-1
91 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 72873
Hi mommabps--it seems to me you are missing the key word here--"forgive"--it doesn't matter whether you "stand" or "go"-only that you "FORGIVE"--in HIM angel1
92 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 73035
Hi mommapbs--thanx for reply--I do not think that "sin" and "forgivness" are the "same" thing certainly-they exist together--Here is my personal understanding of why we must "forgive" for many years i wanted God to send my father to Hell for all that he did or allowed in my life---JESUS has shown me the HORROR of such a thought----to be forgiven and then wish for "anyone" to be seperated from HIS forgivness---we must get that His death was for every single soul-IN HIM angel 1
93 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 74730
Hi Mommpabs--thanks for reply.--I think we are on the same track-Thank God that we are still in the period of Grace!!!and that He is leading us to know His forgivness is for all--"while we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly"---in Him angel 1
94 | who was Simon of Cyrene | Mark 15:21 | angel1 | 41604
Hi prayon-What makes it "appear later"-that simon chose to take on the "spiritual meaning of the cross for himself" ? thx-angel-1
95 | who was Simon of Cyrene | Mark 15:21 | angel1 | 41790
Hi prayon- this was a question not an answer- I don't see where in scripture you got this idea. I don't mean to offend but this seems like a big stretch to me.in Him angel1
96 | Can I remarry and be forgiven by god | Luke 7:47 | angel1 | 72875
hi justme--I am wondering about the term"lone ranger christians" is it the same as "cowboy christians" ?--I don't think "cowboy "is all that bad. I question much of what "denomitions" do and so am viewed as "cowboy" by denomitations but find my truth in scripture not in churches-- it seems to me that we are the "bride" we who are borne again and that this "bride" is present throughout the world-- not in specific denomitions.n what do you see?--thanks angel 1
97 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 40416
Hi joe-thx for your concern-no, I mean only that in Johns gospel Jesus is revealed as the " I AM" more than in the others. All of the bible reveals Jesus in His totality. love in Him angel1
98 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 40506
Hi andy-cynthia and all. John1:1-word/logos. defined in Greek as "something said including the thought" here's a side light- it also implies-motive-. This according to Dr. Strong's concordance.I do have to trust scholars re:the original languages. Rainbow-I must disagree that vs5 refers to John. It seems to me to be a continuation of the thought in vs4. ....the life was the light of men vs5-and-the light shineth....Then the switch to John who bears wittness to the light.RE; why Jesus had to be a man-God made a covanent with man. Man failed his part. God is absolutely faithful-we people have no clue what faithful really is- So to remain faithful to do His word He sent a man who fullfilled that part of the covanent. Only God's perfection can meet His own standards. He loves us so much that He paid the price Himself for us.-in Him angel1
99 | Please explain the Trinity. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 40511
I like your analogy. Here's another-the three leaf clover-one stem three leaves one clover-God reveals Himself in nature as well.and i think this as close to understanding the trinity as we can get with our little sheep minds. in Him-angel1
100 | Please explain the Trinity. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 40512
Now Hank---don't be sarcastic-see Mark 10: 14 and 15. I think maybe ethan has tapped into the meaning of the simplicity of coming as a child by faith. saying God is simple may be a mistake but simple faith is not.--in Him angel1
