641 | What would prompt these tears? | Rev 7:17 | JCrichton | 121257
"Searcher - so what of those sins that we neglected to ask forgiveness for?" "Contrary to what you are proposing ( and I think I do understand), the biblical teaching is that Christ has paid the complete penalty for our sin. If we must do anything further, i.e. repent, then I do not see that His payment was sufficient! Note Hebrews 10:12, 18:" Hi, Hank! These are the posts from Mommapbs which I have responded to today. ""The sacrifice of Christ on the cross was wholly sufficient for my sins as well as those of the world. If I have to do anything to further merit His forgiveness, then Christ must go back to the cross of necessity- something that is impossible!" Hi, mommapbs! So, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that those in Christ could commit murder or any other transgression and not need to repent because Christ died so that they could be free to do as they please?" This is my final post to Mommapopbs... I do not see how Christ dying for my sins gives me a license to continue to sin with impunity. My comments were clear. My query sincere. How have I offended you and Mommapbs? Now if you are saying that I should not question any of the posts presented on this forum, then I am beginning to understand your post. "unwholesome innuendo" unwholesome--detrimental to physical, mental or moral well-being innuendo--an oblique allusion There was no assault made on Mommapbs--if that is what you are reading. Perhaps instead of murder I should have used a milder simile. Since I believe that my query was pertinent to the thread's discussion, I ask you the same thing (using a different allegory): Can a Christian sin with impunity? Say a person comes to your congregation and 20 years later after serving the Lord faithfully he/she has access to the petty cash account and, without seeking his/her superior's/elder's authorization, withdraws x amount of money for personal use. The money is never reported stolen(so there's no accountability to man)... this person never replaces the money that he/she stole, and he/she eventually dies. Would there be nothing for God to do but accept that that person sinned and relished on the fact that he/she had impunity? God Bless! Angel |

Hi, mommapbs! (Some of the times your tag is spelled Mommapbs other times mommapbs--clarifying, lest I offend Hank!) I respect your conviction... Since my own beliefs are different than yours, I will simply offer my apologies if you felt personally attacked or if you felt defamed and drop this thread. God Bless! Angel |

643 | The scriptures and U.S. Mid East Policy | Rev 12:12 | JCrichton | 137876
Hi, Your frustration is shared by many... I suspect that we have been trained to be tolerant of people and we are blindsided by their duality... I recall that on September 11, and the days following, the general population of many arab nations were filmed rejoicing on the streets over the destruction that befell the US; these people did not seem to be Islamic extremists: they were middle age adults, young adults, and children... they chanted and cheered and burnt US flags! Conversely, these same people and their terrorist murdering friends and relatives would not raise their voice to their own kinsmen--the likes of Saddam and the various ruling families--under whose horrific oppression they starve to death or are tortured to death, despite of the arab nations' control of the wealthiest petroleum deposits in the world... Noticed how not even the western media finds any fault at any of their actions... they come to the US only to spread their hatred for the "infidels" (check news magazines such as 20/20 on indepth study of Islam in the US); these infidels are none other than Israelites and Christians--to be objective, they have killed both Christians and non-Christians in the past--equal murder opportunity, I guess. It is interesting to hear some of them speaking on street corners (US Muslims)... how proud they are that Islam is getting more power... they can't wait for it to be as it was: when infidels were decapitated on site if they did not convert! They also pronounce joyfully how they do everything that Christians do not do! It is the anti-Christ culture that is sweeping the world... most people seem not to want to believe--even as they become more bold and more violent! God Bless! Angel |

Hi, Lisa G! Glad to have been of service! ...just as points of reference: Euro-single dollar (not yet in effect) US dollar as international currency Islam (exclusion of all non-Moslems) These are three forms of governments or machinations that could bloosom into a one-world government/mechanish! Three additional candidates: world-wide comradery amonng terrorists (both the drug empire and the organized murderers of children and innocent civilians) ditto among pornagraphy and its culture ditto among homosexuality and its culture The latter has been exercising much political and cultural influence (to the inclusion of the Jewish nation, the children of God's predilection, accepting homosexuality as part of their culture)... These, the top candidates could very well be the pillars which the beast (dragon) would use to create that world-government that will oppose Christ! God Bless! Angel |

"Often the questions have me studying again and again. I love it." Hi, Lisa G! I agree with you completely! Isn't it wonderful how we help ourselves by bringing others to Christ?! I see it as part of God's Salvation Plan... I mean, we are called individually to God, but we are responsible for bringing the Good News to others--there's no vertical spirituality... we Love God only as a reflection of God's own Love for us and He requires us to Love mankind! "the beast will hate women" There are two specific passages that speak on this subject (Genesis 3:15 and Revelation 12:1-6, 12-17)--it is the war on Christ and His brethren... though there will be many (anti-Christs) who will introduce apostasies twisting the Gospel of Christ into anti-Christian doctrines some requiring that people do not marry (perhaps this is where homosexuality comes in) others subverting all of God's Laws (natural, spiritual, and ordinance)... we see these apparitions taking place all over our society (national and international) where a controlling minority dictate social conscience as they push their values onto us in the guise of "political correctness"--translation: if it makes money and indulges the masses it is correct... Little does the world suspect that it's being lead astray as sheep lead to the slaughter house! (see Romans 1:18-32) "So many topics to study..." Just one topic at a time... remember that to the Lord we are all seen in the same level: no one will get ahead of anyone else! Jesus' concern is that we all participate, that we all work His vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16) So just continue your path in the Lord, He will provide all the advancement you need as He makes His queries to your heart and to your spirit both through your own internal desire to know Him deeper and wider and through the needs of those He will continue to send to you! God Bless! Angel |
