63 | Year of Jubilee possible in capitalism? | Lev 25:33 | melchizedekau | 8603
Hi Nolan just a short note to say No ! my view on the matter is that;if the three most richest men on the earth gathered their wealth together and used all their profits from their businesses and gave that to the poor to feed them. There would be no hungry people in this world. But Jesus states that the Love of money is the Root of all evil.there fore as long as that root stays in capitalism a year of jubilee is not possible.YIC
64 | Is tithing for today? | Lev 27:30 | melchizedekau | 3469
tything has been pointed out to me a very part of Gods requirements to be a cheerful giving christian.Tything is not part of the Laws as some would say. It started with Abraham tything to Gods priest ,Melchizedek.Gen 14:18-21.Bring all your tythes into the store house.Malachi 3:10 andJacob made a vow to God and tythed of all after his increase.Gen 28:22.also in proverbs 3:9. in Malachi it says to PROVE God in this, nowhere else in the bible does it say to prove me in this.so tything is not law it is tied in with the BLESSING of Abraham.Do a word study on the Blessing of Abraham. go to www.biblegateway.com or just look up the address.

71 | Why did God kill Uzzah? | 2 Sam 6:6 | melchizedekau | 4465
God didnt kill Uzzah.he did himself. read Exedus25:10 to 22. It talks where God speaks from, that is between the cherubims above the mercy seat.just like Jesus. Then turn to chapter 28 and this is what they had to wear ,the priests,it was taught to all for an everlasting statute.verse 43.also explains that they had to wear all this gear so iniquity would not be incured and die.Uzzah knew all this from a child as all israelites were taught, but he just went ahead and tried to give God a hand causing him to incur his iniquity, i hope this helps.YIC
72 | Why punish the man of God? | 1 Kings | melchizedekau | 3488
the question is not why, but how can we learn from this incident and apply it to our own lives. In verse nine he says with his own lips what the Lord had commanded him not to do!when the Lord tells you some thing you must do it with all your might and to the letter. He wasnt tricked by the old prophet. He was intimidated by him.Intimidation is a spirit and is fear.We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind,2 Tim 1:7. Have you ever been intimidated by a person that has a position of authority?did you notice that when the old prophet gave the word at the table the young prophet finished his meal as he knew it was his last.disobedience brings punishment. He never repented, do you notice. He was man enough to accept the will of God,and took the responsibility.just as Paul went into jerusalem and was to be bound, Acts 21;11-14.YIC.
73 | Does Satan have free will? | Job 2:6 | melchizedekau | 4731
Hi Brent, may i just add and clarify a few points.thanks. satan does have a free will as he goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Also we all have a hedge about us by God for we are sealed in the Holy Spirit, for our names have been written in the book of life since the foundation of the world. Also the temptations that we endure is not above what we can handle and there is always a way of escape made available to us if we just ask. the Lord has all things under his feet and all things are given to us that pertain to life and Godliness.it is our free will that allows satan to have dominion in and around us. Through the Blood of Jesus and our testimony we overcome.YIC.
74 | Why a broken heart? | Ps 51:17 | melchizedekau | 8605

75 | What can we learn for Solomon's life? | Eccl 1:2 | melchizedekau | 4703
This is the Big question. Solomon sums it up in Ecclesiastes 12:13,14. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.
76 | Where is Plan of Salvation Found? | Isaiah | melchizedekau | 3795
hi! i would choose Isaiah 53 the whole chapter as it is a reverlation of what God has Given us through His sons suffering.
77 | when is prophecy near or far? | Isaiah | melchizedekau | 3796
Is that near or far for whom?jehu or us?. there is no time with God .He inhabits eternity.isaih 57:15. faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.His word shall not return to Him void. there is no time placed on Prophesy unless it is stated. what i am trying to say is that if you are believing for something from God,ie healing, salvation etc.if you have not heard from God the ultimate end will be fleshly. So when the Lord speaks He will inturn give a scripture for you to have faith in and stand upon when satan attacks. This makes prophesy as far away as your faith. Faith is the ability to be able to recieve from God in His timing. YIC.
78 | Isai 41:2 referring to Christ or Cyrus? | Isaiah | melchizedekau | 3797
all scripture is given 2 Tim 3;16.if you can see Jesus in a scripture then you are seeing God. Doesnt the word say that the Pure in heart shall see God. I say it dont matter who it talks about as long as Jesus is exalted in all things.i have heard that Jesus will return through the EAST gate.
79 | How close can we get to God? | Is 62:5 | melchizedekau | 4311
dear Nolan i believe that we can only get as close to God as our calling requires. We are bought with a price. What price will you pay? if we marry then we have trouble in the flesh. But what have you been called to do? i feel obedience is better than sacrifice.do what you are called to do and let Jesus say to you, Good and faithful servant.Look at moses and the prophets etc.all their callings were different and so were their encounters with the Lord.Just remember all your desires were placed within you by God to fullfil your destiny in Him.So we cannot glory in anything at all, except Jesus. bless you.YIC
80 | How close can we get to God? | Is 62:5 | melchizedekau | 4399
bless you i will try to explain.look at mary and martha. who was closer? Did martha choose her role ? or did love dictate to their hearts? do you have John the baptists calling on your life? or elijahs? what is your calling? what is your purpose are you a doer or an interceder? as the calling requires just as you are not benny Hinn we all have different Jobs in Christ. To be obedient is the best we can possibly be ,to be the person God wants us to be.Free and led by the Holy Spirit.WE are chosen we do not choose the calling we walk in.To be disobedient is the limitations that we place on ourselves .Bless you.YIC.
