Okay, This is not a question. Thank you to all the people that helped me out the last few days. I am new to this forum. I have found many of you to be very knowledgeable. I posted a question and within minutes, I had a response. Names that I saw alot were Hank, Pastor Glenn, gracefull, Searcher56, and prayon. Thank you very much and keep up the ggod work. It is hard finidng a bible forum where people aren't fighting. You all have been very diplomatic even when you disagreed. I like that everyone takes the time to back up there asnwer with text. So if I haven't responded to your answers. Here is a big THANKS. journey_me |

63 | Homesexuality? Wrong? | Not Specified | journey_me | 92980
Here I go again. Where can I find specifics dealing with homosexuality? Does the bible explicitly say homosexuality is wrong or does it implicitly say so? How can the episcopalian church elect an openly gay person as bishop, especially if he is actively gay? Or is simply not prcticing homosexuality? Is homesexuality not apart of the doctorine they teach? Please help. I am an advocate and I love to debate. Sometimes I get stuk because I can't find certain things. I need some textual evidence for this one. I remember reading something in Romans, but I can't find it. |

Where does the mind dwell inside of you? Where does love dwell inside of you? The answer is not the brain and not the heart, that is just where we feel it. You would need to have experienced the Holy Spirit in order to answer that question.

Thanks. You helped me with 2 out of 3. The third answer is not what I am looking for it is just a philospohical answer. It is just like saying Why and someone answers Why Not? The answer to my third questions can actually be found within the first two answers, however I am still looking for something more.

Can every Christian or any Christian speak tongues? I went to church with a friend and the preacher asked everyone to speak in tongues and the majority of the people broke out in "tongue"? I was taught that the gift of tongues was a spiritual gift and that not all people possess all gifts. |

73 | Literal or Not? | 2 Tim 3:16 | journey_me | 92873
I appreciate your help. I already beleive in the creation story. I am looking for ways to discuss it with none believers, therefore I need biblical evidence. If there isn't a biblical reference it is harder to prove my case. The bible can have metaphors without being fables, myths, or superstitions. The questions is why or why not is the bible literal? Is there proof either way? |
