63 | Building Endurance | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 171712
My question today is with the book of James 1:2. "2My brothers and sisters. Whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance; 4and let endurance have it's full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing". I probably know this already, but I would just like peoples opinions. Does that mean any difficulty (such as understanding earthly things, or the ways of the world) we face we should always consider it as joy, or does that mean anything that has to do with our Lord we should treat is as joy? Thanks for your time.. Jason |

65 | The Truth when confronted | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 173387
Hi, I have a question about truth or actually it's more of a belief I have, or a saying/quote.. I also want to see if the bible references this somewhere or somehow that we can understand. The quote is: "The truth will save you no matter the consequences". I'm talking about the spiritual sense. I mean even in this world sense too. Because if you lie when someone asks you something just to save their feelings. I don't think that's too right...Becuase if your asked a direct honest question about something you should give a direct honest answer back no matter what. Not saying you need to go around just telling people without being asked saying stuff to hurt their feelings. I'm talking about when you a confronted with the truth and you need to reply, respond and answer. Does everyone know where I'm coming from here? Well anyways, if you could reference me some wisdom and knowledge on this that could support this..Thank you... Jason |

66 | Respecting and Neighbors | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 173446
Hi everyone, i just would like to say, you guys are really prompt when asnwering question and very fast. Thanks for all your help...I'm looking for help or right and wrong feelings on what to do in this issue that just arised. I'll lay down some basic facts here about the situation. 1) I live with my mom in a 3 story condo/apartment. 2) Were on the 2nd floor and we have neighbors below us. 3) These neighbors below us are angry with us, because they say we make too much noise. 4) The carpet that we have on this floor when we first moved in was new carpet but with not much padding so it's like they can hear us walk around even when we just do regular foot steps as a normal person would do in their house. 5) They say that we make too much noise and that they hear everything we do and it wakes their daughter up all the time when were up at night whether if were up at 12am or 3am.... 6) The neighbors downstairs are 1 mom and 1 daugter. The daugeter is below me. 7) Today the mom from downstair was really angry with us and she I guess had a nice yelling talk with my mom about how much noise we make and it wakes her daughter up. 8) My mom said there is nothing really we can do about it expect be more carefull about what we do. but it's not like were not going to move at all when the sun goes down and not do things because it's the carpet that's why it makes so much noise. Because we don't have a problem hearing the 3rd floor people above us because they have padding on their carpet. 9) Basically, the lady downstairs is really angry with us and tells us how hard she works and was trying to guilt my mom and making her feel bad or something and basically what she wants us to do, is if she says "sit" we "sitdown". 10) I say, well okay we'll be more carefull about what we do but there are some things we just can't help and I know that's not what the downstairs neighbors are going to realize...Because when we accidently drop things at night even if it's like 9PM or 10PM, the downstairs neighbors make a huge loud thump on their cieling, to show us that they herd what we were doing and they are mad about it. You know.. What does the bible say about this kind of situations about neighbors? I know it says love your neighbors as thyself. Could you reply with your own feelings and thoughts on this as well with bible passeges on what would be the right thing to do in this situation? Because apart of me just wants to go downstairs and talk to the lady and give her my perspective and not be mean to her but just let her know what I think about it... kind of long story but thanks for your help. |

67 | Will Power and God | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 173537
Hi everyone.I will put this in short forms as possible. Ever since Wednesday June 7th 2006, I have been discovering more about my spirit and my will to do things in life. I have felt very passionate about it lately. Its helped me concentrate, its helped me visualize and focus on the thing I would want to achieve. What Iam talking about is free will. Have you ever herd the saying where there is a will, there is a way? I believe if your will power to do something that you want to achieve in life such as a personal goal that you can control. If the will power is at 100 percent, nothing on earth besides God hopefully knowing God will allow you to, but nothing will stop you from achieving that dream and personal goal. See for all we know, our will power might only be at 10 percent, we dont know for sure. Basically, could somone please reference this in the bible somewhere, that could talk about this? About achieving your full will power and what will power can do. Basically definitions about human spirit, will power. Thanks all who reply. Jason |

72 | Sodom and Gomorrah | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 175348
Hi, I watched a movie on Noah's Ark. The movie didn't seem correct after I read what was in the bible. The main plot in the movie is about the great flood that God had made. The people that the director of the movie put in there were "Shem, Ham, Jepeth, Noah and his wife. Then God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. The movie put this part of life before the flood. The bible puts this part after the flood. Also the bible doesn't talk about Noah during the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. It talks about Abraham and Lot the two main people. So is this movie being untruthful or do I have my facts wrong? Thanks all, Jason |

76 | No worries just God? | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 176393
Hi, I'm wondering about worry. Because a big part of my life is worry. Even though I gave my life to Christ already, it has been better but worry still seems to be there. You know how the bible says "donot worry, for worries will take care of themselves?" let me ask, how does worry take care of it's self if you dont worry? You know what I mean? Becuase I want feel pure joy, I want to feel great it's always not easy. So how does worry take care of it's self? If you could respond with your own heart in mind and some bible references. Thank You. Jason |

77 | The Offender | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 176465
Hi, my mind was pondering about this. I feel ackward asking about this, but I must know. If there ever was an offender in your life and he was offending you. What are you saposed to do? Let me be more specific, I know love is never forceful, it's always kind and patient. How does all that fit with the offender? Lets say if someone was killing you, are you just saposed to let it happen? Or if someone tried to hurt you, would you just let it be and hope? Like the book of "JOB". What he said to God "Even though ye sleigh me, I will wait with hope?" So did I pretty much give myself the answer or is there more to it? Thank You, Jason |

80 | Sin vs Love | Not Specified | NightJay0044 | 178592
Hi, recently I thought of a definition for love and sin. Not saying it's like a webster dictionary definition, but I think it makes sense if any one can forth a responsive answer? ------------- Sin is a disobedience caused by humans in the beginning. A person born is not a bad person, but rather the sin that was spread from one human to the other, by nature, it makes us want to do bad things and feel bad things because of the one disobedient act against God. Basically sin is like a disease that was transfered from one human to another, it's in our blood stream which makes it be natural. Love is the complete opposite of that. Love makes us whole with God, love makes us whole with other people. Love can spread throughout us naturally also, but love takes a little more work. Which is why sometimes life can be hard. Love gives, while sin takes. --------- and it's not always easy to give when everything gets takin from you. Honestly, I think I cleared that up, I nailed the center of the dart board. I hope you can see where I'm coming from, I think God had a part in this definition. Which brings me to the book of matthew. You know the passage that says "The narrow path leads to life and the wide path leads to death". Why: Because the narrow path is "love". More basic terms: Love: Gives Sin: Takes Love: Is selfles Sin: Is Selfish I hope that helps anybody.... God bless.. |
