63 | Giam, did the magi go to Nazareth? | Matt 2:16 | Giam | 46243
Hi Searcher, It seems so based on Luke 2:39. Which wd explain also how the magi were able to easily escape from herod: matthew 2:12: 're-turn.' Love and Resepct, Giam |

64 | How old was Jesus when the Magi brought | Matt 2:16 | Giam | 46217
Songbird! Just 2 other points for the nazareth to egypt and back trek: 1. If Jc was in nazareth when the wise men visited him, then it wd have been very easy for them to escape home back east, since they wd not have had to back down south to jerusalem. 2. God had the prophecy of Hosea 11:1 to fulfill by sending jc into egypt no matter how inconvenient it wd have been for them to by pass jerusalem along the the sea coast. see matthew 2:15. Hope that helps. Love and repsect, your biC, Giam |

65 | How old was Jesus when the Magi brought | Matt 2:16 | Giam | 46211
Songbird! Ur point is well taken! Naz. is way up north! But this still makes sense: God's whole point is to be vague so that all points of view are reasonable! Proverbs 25:2-3. It IS hard to beleive that Joseph and Mary wd go back up to Naz, and then flee all the way back pass Jerusalem and beth! altho they CD have done so along the sea coast! But Luke 2:39 and matthew 2:11: pais in the house: are there. Or it CD be that all of Matthew 2 occurred between the words 'Lord' and 'they' in Luke 2:39!!!! which wd mean that Joseph, Mary and the young Pais went straight from wherever in the house was to Egypt and then returned to nazareth!!! Any view that is reasonable is just that: we still can't be totally sure! I personally go for what i said before in Love and in respect of all other views! In which case they fled to Egypt even tho in Naz because God knew that Herod wd send his homicide-killers way up there to kill this new king that threatened his rule! See waht i mean? Love and Respect, Giam |

66 | How old was Jesus when the Magi brought | Matt 2:16 | Giam | 46156
Songbirdca, Here is how u can figure it out: Christ was born in a manger in Bethlehem: Luke 2:7, 12. He was then circimcised at 8 days of age: Luke 2:21. Mary then went from the Stable in Bethlehem to the Temple in Jerusalem after 32 days later: Luke 2:22, Leviticus 12:3-4: to present Jesus to God. And then they went back HOME to Nazareth. Luke 2:39. Then the wise men arrived and found Jesus IN THE HOUSE. MATTHEW 2:1,11. But how long after Chrsit got home to Nazareth did the wise men arrive? The only guide as to that time is that Herod, having enquired diligently of the wise men as to when they first saw the star, Matthew 2:7,16, told the wise men to go find 'the young child,' paidion, not babe, brephos as in Luke 2:12,16, 1:41, and he then killed every child under TWO years of age, when the wise men wisely did not go back to tell him where Christ was! Matthew 2:16. Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Giam |

67 | Would you have recognized Christ? | John 15:16 | Giam | 46132
Hi Arnie! It is me Giam again. U ask some very interesting questions! smile I wd have recognised Jesus as the Christ if I had lived in Palestine when Christ was there by listening to and hearing what He said: IF He said we shd love our friends and love our enemies, and love all words and their opposites, He'd be the One! But if he said we shd love our friends and hate our enemies, and lvoe certain words and hate their opposites, I wd have know that he cd NOT be the one and that He wd not be the One! In Love if all words and their opposites, Giam |

68 | Recognize Christ? | John 15:16 | Giam | 46128
Hi Arnie, That is a great q! The answer is based on this: God is Love, 1 John 4:8, and so His 2 great laws are about Love of God and neighbor as self by frist loving self as God and as neighbor, Matthew 22:36-40 and 7:12, on which ALL the Law and the Prophets hang. Thsi means that God loves us as all words and their opposites: Matthew 5:43-48, and that the first sin is to hate myself as any word! The formula for spiritual sin is: To love myself as any word and hate myself as the opposite word, like this: To love me as good and hate me as bad, to love me as just and hate me as unjust, to love me as strong and hate me as weak, to lvoe me as a freind and hate me as an enemy/opposite. So suppose I came preaching to you that Christ was good person or that He was/is The Son of God or that He was God, which wd all be all right, but I told u that we are to hate bad people and to hate Satan, God's adversary or opposite or enemy. That is HOW I cd come preaching that Christ was Christ and still deceive u! For I wd be preaching the right thing about Christ but in the wrong sinful attitude of hate for all the sinners God lvoes, and preaching the OPPOSITE of WHAT Christ taught about Love for the good as well as the bad!! See? And guess waht? That is the ONLY way to preach Christ and still decieve people! So for instance, to preach that we are to Love God and to love Satan and then in Love resist Satan is Godly! James 4:7. Satan only flees from Love! James 4:8 That wd be preaching Christ and doing so in Love for God's enemies! But to preach that we are to lvoe God but hate Aatan and then resist Satan in Hate is to preach Christ and still deceive u: For to resist Satan with hate for Satan is to lock him in in Hate in our minds when we think we are locking him out! For Satan never flees from hate: he is into that attitude of mind: so he pretends to flee to lull us into a false sense of security! See? So that is why Jesus reveals "one thing to one group, then reveals the OPPOSITE to another group": TO SEE IF WE WD ALSO LOVE THE OPPOSITE, THE ENEMY POINT OF VIEW TOO! For only by loving friends and enemies can we understand the whole truth of WHO God is: Love for both friends and enemies, for saints and for sinners, for all words and their opposites! See? Hope that helps. Love and respect, Giam |

69 | why doe God use imperfect people | Matt 5:48 | Giam | 46125
Dear Bible9, God uses imperfect people because God loves imperfect people: there are hardly any other kind. Romans 3:23 God actually loves us as perfect and as imperfect because he loves Himself as perfect and as imperfect. Matthew 22:36-40, 7:12. In this way, His Love is always perfect whether we are perfect or imperfect, good or evil, just or unjust. Matthew 5:43-48. Or we can put it this way: His Love is made perfect and strong and whole in imperfection, in weakness and in the unwhole. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. And He is teaching us to love ourselves as perfect and imperfect, as all words and their opposites ,that we can love both those who are perfect and those who are imperfect as ourselves. Matthew 22:36-40. And this is how He, with perfect Love for the perfect and the imperfect, uses imperfect people: 1 Corinthians 1 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and because the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish/imperfect people of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak/imperfect people of the world to confound the people which are mighty; 28 And the base/imperfect people of the world, and people which are DESPISED hath God chosen, yea, and people who are nobodies, to bring to nought people that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Giam |

70 | Discernment of false teachings | Eph 4:11 | Giam | 46115
Hi New Creature, Did u mean that u prefer to be divided by truth in Love of liars and wolves in sheep's clothing, than united by error in Hate of liars and of wolves in sheeps' clothing? I base my question on Ephesians 4:15: Ephesians 4 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Looking fwd to your reply. 71 | Job DID charge God foolishly? | Job 1:22 | Giam | 46114
Dear Baptistbred, U are absolutely right in your inferences! Up to Job 2:10 and the end of Chapter 2, Job did NOT sin with his lips. But he soon ran out of his little oil of the Holy Spirit of Love, and so with the sin of hate in his heart began to sin with his lips from Job 3:1! Notice how it is says: After this, Job 3 1 After this opened Job the lips of his mouth, and with his lips cursed his day. To curse the day he was born was to curse God who gave him his day of birth! And to sin by cursing, Job HAD to be hating his day! And so hating God by hating himself! Matthew 12:34-37: Out of the abundance of the Love or Hate in the heart the mouth speaks. So true enough by verse 25, he realises that the very thing he hates and so fears in Hate has come upon him! 1 John 4:18 But it is not until Job 42, that Job realises that it was because of his attitude of hate that what he hated came upon him, and that it was GOD who had sent what he hated un him! And why did God send it? To get him to start loving who and what God loves! Ezekiel 23 28 For thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated: 29 And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. Then with repentance of the sin of hate for being wrong AFTER Job 42:6, God blesses him double for being doubly right: for now Job is not only right in what he does, he does right IN the right attitude of Love for those who are wrong! Please see Matthew 5:43-48 and Luke 18:9. Hope this helps. Love and Respect, Giam |

72 | How to forget my hurts and pains | 1 Peter | Giam | 46098
Hi Effie, Here is my answer to your question. Matt 18:35 "My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother FROM YOUR HEART." Forgiveness is based on THE Love IN YOUR HEART. And the love in your heart is based on how much Love u have been giving to yourself based on how much God and Christ love U! 1 john 4:18 And how much do they love u? As Themselves! John 15:9, Matthew 22:36-40, 7:12. And how much do they love themselves? All the way, all the time, at all times, as every word and its opposite. Proverbs 17:17, Romans 13:8. So before we can forgive others, we have to love them. And before we can love them, we have to lvoe ourselves. So the q to yourself is: Do u love yourself as your inlaws? God loves u as your inlaws. In other words, if u were them, wd u love u? And, if they were u, wd u love them? God loves u as them, and He loves them as u! See? If your answers were yes, then u wd have no problem forgiving them without forgetting waht they did! If any answer is no, there's your problem: u hate u as them and so hate them as urself, and so wd not forgive U if u hurt urself the way they hurt u, so it is no wonder u won't and can't forgive them neither. See? Hatred of yourself and so hatred of anyone as yourself IS the spirit of UNforgiveness! We can't forgive others for what we wd hate ourselves for doing! See? So your real problem is with yourself: U only love your self as certain words and hate yourself as the opposite of those word. If u still hate u for killing Christ, how can u forgive God for killing His own Son, and for using the His own people to kill him, and for asking Abraham to kill his own son, Issac? John 3:16, Genesis 22. See? Do u love u as a pleasure AND as a pain? See? If u hate u as a pain, u will not forgive u for being a pain to urself nor to others, and so not be able to forgive others who are pains to u or pain u? See? The real pain is the pain of hate u have for yourself, and so for others! That pain remains even after the other physical pains go away. And that is the pain that is keeping u from forgiving yourself and from forgiving them. So love u as all words and their opposites as God lvoes u, and u will lvoe urself as your inlaws and love them as yourslf and so forgive them as u forgive yourself! Matthew 18:15-35. Any word u hate u as is the word Christ is and is the word HE loves himself as and so loves u and them and me as! John 1:1, 12. See? Then guess what? YOur in-Laws will be come your In-Loves! Ok? Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Giam |

73 | Filling up what is lacking? | Col 1:24 | Giam | 46085
Cheryl, Great question. For Christ's suffering to be perfect, He had to have perfect Love! 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. And that perfect unconditional Love meant that He loved suffering and he loved to not suffer, he loved being sick and well, rich and poor, friends and enemies, all words and their enemy-opposites! 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. So Christ's love was lacking NO love! That perfect Love is how He "offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His ENEMIES are made His footstool/FRIENDS! For by one offering IN PERFECT LOVE He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." by that very Love. John 13:34-35 So, Paul meant that HE Paul was learning to follow Christ's example and to love himself as sick and unhealthy, as ill and as well, as friend and as enemy, as all the other words and their opposites in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 and Romans 8:35-39 in order to make up for the Love that was lacking in HIM Paul that was present in Christ's Love for his affictions! See? So question: Do u love being in health and in sickness? Do u know of anyone who has been taught to love themselves as both each word and its opposite? Do u know of any married person who does even tho they promised, vowed to God to love their partners in health and in sickness? Can we love others without first loving ourselves? Then if we hate being sick, when we are sick, would we not be doubly sick: in our bodies and in our attitudes of minds? See? And so our Love wd be lacking the Love for being ill that was present in Christ's Love when he suffered for us! See? Another good example of how our lives are lacking the one hundred percent Love Christ's had and what Love he wants us to have like God has is found in Matthew 5:43-48 where Christ called on us to lvoe ourselves as good and as eveil, as just and unjust as perfect and as imperfect, so that our Love wd be perfect as the Love of God who lvoes us all as sinners and as saints, and so we wd be able to love all our neighbors and our non-neighbors as ourselves!! Matthew 22:36-40 and 7:12. Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Gima |

76 | tomn, what is being holy (holiness)? | Col 1:24 | Giam | 46077
Love is the spirit of God's Mind and of Christ's mind. Philippians 2:5, John 15:9 and Matthew 22:36-40. And both, since Love is the Holy spirit of God's mind and of Christ's mind: Ronans 5:5, and since as God is Love and God is Holy, so Love is Holy and Holy is Love, then Holiness is to be in Love, or wholly loving, and to be holy is to be loving or to be in whole Love. In effect, holiness is what we have and who we are when we obey the first 2 Great commands or Laws of God which are to love Him and our neighbors as ourselves by loving ourselves as Him and our neighbors. Matthew 22:36-40. So true enough, when we are holy or in holiness like God is holy is when we are in Love like He is! And that is why Love is what sets us apart, what sanctifies us, which is what holy means: to be set apart of special use: as The disciples of Christ. John 13:35 So when we are in Love, we are holy as God is Holy and as HOW he calls on us to be! Leviticus 11:44-45 and 1 Peter 1:15-22, especially verses 17 and 22. Then because God is Holy so that wherever God is IS holy, Exodus 3:5, and because God is Love, 1 John 4:8, when we are full of holy Love, the Holy God is living in us and so we become doubly holy, and when we are in Love, we are living IN Him and In His Holy Love, and so are doubly holy again! 1 John 4:16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the Love God cherishes for us. God is Love, and he who dwells and continues in Love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Giam |

77 | jme, is the person in Jam 2:14 saved? | John 10:28 | Giam | 45745
Dear Searcher, James 2:14 says: What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? God's first two great commands about Love are the basis of everything else: Matthew 22:36-40. So true enough: Faith works by Love: Galatians 5:6 and Works work by Love: 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 So whether I have faith or no faith, works or no works, I am supposed to have Love or Faith in Love. See? Then with constant faith in Love, there is a time to have faith, and there is a time to have no faith. See Daniel 3:17-18 for an example of each. Then with constant faith in Love, there is a time to work, and a time to not work. Se Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. Then with constant faith in Love, we can integrate faith and works: there is a time to have faith and works, like when it is time to work: Exodus 20:9, and there is a time to have faith and no works, like when it is time to rest: Exodus 20:8, and there is a time to have no faith and no works, like the disciples who stayed in the boat while Peter went on the water, Matthew 14:25-31 and there is a time to have no faith and works, like Thomas in John 20:26-29. So under all conditions, we are to have faith in God by having faith in Love. Philippians 4:11-13. So the person in James 2:14 is saved if he has Love, and is not saved if he has no Love, no matter what other combination of faith and works he has! See? James just happened to use the one permutation of the person having faith and no works and apparently having no Love! The perfect time to have faith in Love and in Love to have no works is when God says: Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord! Exodus 14:13-14. But even if I had all faith and all works but had NO LOVE, all my faith and all my works profit me nothing! See? Please also see Matthew 7:21-23. So claiming that I have faith means I have real faith only IF i have faith in Love! Why? Because there is a time to not have faith, but there is never a time to not have faith in Love!! So to sum up: Neither any faith without Love or no faith without Love works, and neither any works without Love or no works without Love works! See? Please see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. Hope that helps. Love and Respect, Godfrey |
