63 | Why were there THREE divine beings? | Not Specified | Chusarcik | 132255
In Genesis 18 1s there symbolic significance that there were THREE dividne beings that appeared to Abraham? I understand that the number three often represents triads of completeness in the Bible, such as the triune God, so I'm wondering if and how this would apply to the three beings in chapter 18? 71 | History of nations of the world | Not Specified | Chusarcik | 124752
From www.zionministry.com I reviewed a chart called Nations of the World that chronicles the descendents of the sons of Noah. This chart shows the European nations such as France, Germany,Sweden, etc. coming from the line of Shem, the son from whom the Israelites come. From www.freemaninstitue.com, it states the same European nations descended from Japeth, the oldest son. My Bible study group is confused by this conflicting information. Which one is correct? I'm asking this question again because I didn't get an answer when I asked the other day. Chusarcik And a note to Country Girl who responded the other day but did not answer the question: Country Girl, Thanks for responding and to answer your question: The answer to my original question is important to me because the Bible very carefully lists geneology in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible and the promises and covenents made to each of the sons of Adam. I believe it is important to study all information given in God's word to know him more thouroughly. If we were not to carefully ponder His word why would he give it to us? We have in our Bible group members of many different nationalities and back grounds (my own includes Native American, for example) and there is absolutely no intent to develop prejudice against anyone, just to try to understand God's word as set forth in the Bible. Perhaps the Bible does not give us enough information to know the correct answer and if that is so that is fine, but I've come across conflicting information as stated in my original question and wonder if anyone can answer the question? 73 | Can anyone answer the original question? | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 124547
One more thing, I think it is important to be versed on this information so when study members ask I can answer intelligently, even if it is just to tell them if applicable that the Bible doesn't give conclusive information on the subject. THanks, Chusarcik

Is there Biblical documentation to support the belief that Nimrod's wife, queen Semiramis, was a key player in beginning pagan worship of the sun and mother son worship by stating that her son Tammuz was Nimrod reincarnated? Or if not information on this specifically, are there at least references in the Bible or in historical works about the existence of Semiramis and Tammuz?
