61 | Diff between tongues of men and angels | 1 Cor 13:1 | heisthe1 | 37150
I beg to differ, Jesus is not STILL, nor has he ever been a MAN in heaven. He's God the Word and came to earth in the flesh as man, His name on earth was Jesus, after paying the price for our sin, His name became the Name above ALL NAMES! Hey but you got the picture, gotta run. Blessings to you this day. |

63 | Diff between tongues of men and angels | 1 Cor 13:1 | heisthe1 | 37309
In your last post, your last sentence says "Because he is still a man in heaven" In this post you say "HE is BOTH". I'm not here to rock your boat, BUTTTTT, Yes he became the SON OF GOD, A MAN, but read into John 20 verse 28 says "and Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and My GOD. Yes He intercedes for me too, and as I pray to GOD, He hears and understands, and God Honors my prayers Through the NAME of Jesus. God Bless you real good, JESUS, THE MAN, loves you and so do I!!!

65 | For Heisthe1 a question. | Ephesians | heisthe1 | 34700
Gods blessings to you my Brother! I thank God for your willingness to forward in the things of God. My own insights come from my own experiences of life, most of which I was too much embarassed to reveal, so I hid them in my heart so I wouldn't expose what was really going on in my life. But as it says "out of the heart, speaks the mouth, what I'm saying here is that as much as I tried to cover up my faults I was actually saying what was in my heart, example; when things weren't going well, I would voice my opinon to everyone how everything is bad and nobody understood me, by that statement I was revealing to everyone that I selfish, stubborn and not willing to make ajustments in my life. So if you listen to what people are saying, they are DIRECTLY and INDIRECTLY saying what is going on in their life (heart)! I want to confirm in your heart that God has, through His Son Jesus, broke down ALL the barriers, ALL. Its been said that the first words that should come out of your mouth when you wake up is "Good morning, God! Well guess what? When you wake up in the morning, the does the devil say "Oh no, he's up! or does he say "oh well, hes' up I can do anything I want with him he's no threat to me! I believe yours is the first part of the above statememt, satan will attack those who are a threat to him, but NEVER ever forget, he is DEFEATED! Never forget what is written in Deuteronomy 28:1-13, read it, it doesn't mention anywhere in those verses that we are losers, amen? AMEN! Now start speaking those things out of your heart, even if you don,t feel it, just speak it. Galatians 5:22 speaks of the fruit of the Spirit, ALL fruit is already in you, you don't have to pray for them, it there already, what the Holy Spirit wants to do is bring them OUT of you, you as a Saint of God, possess and HAVE....ALL of the inheritance of God, Jesus gave it to you....now walk in it, talk it. You might not SEE the results right in front of you right now, but they are there (coming), For we walk by FAITH, not by SIGHT....calling those THINGS that are not, as though they were! Praise God, do you now see why that lying devil wants to steal your life, your wife, your family and everything that is precious to you? he doesn't want you to go to your DESTINY, what God has ALREADY planned for you and your family. Thats why he attacks the man, if he can move your wife from out of the covering, that you are, he'll use what ever means possible. Now that you see his moves, make that STAND, as it says in Galatians, and walk in the WHOLE armor of God. Finally my brother begin depositing into your wife Love, protection, TRUST, care, what you deposit, you withdraw :) God bless you my friend, as I said, if I can be of any support let me know. Walking in HIS Kingdom......He Is The 1 ... AMEN! |

You mean I said all that for nothing? Just kidding :) First of all I am not in the medical field. however I'm in the healing field. Whether it's a "state of mind" or a "disease" is none of my concern, whatever you classify the name, it does not belong on a Child of God! I believe everything has a name, and every name must bow to the name of JESUS. Depression is a name, and at the name of JESUS it must bow and leave. Hey, nice talking to you, reply back soon. God bless You! |

68 | Is baptism done only once? | Eph 4:5 | heisthe1 | 42362
That's what you believe, however The Word of God doesn't say "that the baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at the moment of salvation". I don't have a trick bible, Acts 19:2-6 (read it) doesn't even come close to what you suggest. You are impacting people lives here by what you state, it could be easy for someone to be swayed by what you are saying here. Ephesians 4:5 - Some have thought that because Paul says there is one baptism that the idea of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is invalid, but Paul is only speaking here of the baptism by water which is the visible token of God's common work in every believer, and thus a baisis of unity - there aren't seperate baptism for Jew and Gentile. The concept of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is spoken of clearly in Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:2 and 11:16. This may be considered an initial (and sometimes dramatic) experience one has with the fullness of the Holy Spirit, a filling that God wants to continue through a person's Christian Life. Blessings to you, He is The One |

Re-read my post to you! I'm not impressed with how many postings you have given, 36, 16, 3,600, I'm just letting you know I'm not impressed with what you stated about receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit at salvation, it is not biblical. Blessings, makarios |

73 | Is baptism done only once? | Eph 4:5 | heisthe1 | 42680
Praise the Lord! You don't have a trick bible. However, read Acts 19:1-6. Once again I say no one receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit at salvation. You are right, it is what "I" believe. I didn't write the bible, He did. I just beleve what He writes. It's not that complicated. Blessings to you, Jesus es la Luz |

74 | Mission trips, questionable? | Phil 4:8 | heisthe1 | 40442
Malachi 3:8, Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. We are to be obedient in our thithes and offerings we are giving back what belongs to God, we are not accountable for the misuse of funds by the hands of unfaithful servants of God. As I have mentioned before, God will expose the wrong doings of others. God's work will be accomplished with or without us, doubt or no doubt, Guaranteed I suggest prayer. Pray that your pastor or leaders will always be led by The Holy Spirit, and have Godly wisdom. And finally you have the authority to bind the works of the enemy! Whatsoever things are....... God bless you. |

75 | All of the above? | Heb 11:39 | heisthe1 | 43460
Charis, I agree that "Christians of every generation have always needed to walk in faith." I mentioned that faith is like a "sixth sense", you can't see faith, nor feel, taste, smell or hear it, it exists outside of our normal five physical senses. God designed us, the believers, to live (or function) by faith. In the Old Testament, the prophet wrote, "..the just shall live by his faith" (Habbakuk 2:4.) What this doesn't mean Charis, is that we only use our faith when we have a big problem or in cases of an emergency. No! Faith is not to be used that way. It is to be used every day, constantly, and used in every area of your life, from prayer, to marriage, to money matters, to getting relatives saved, or whatever. God wants us to manifest His abundant life in the earth, the life that Jesus spoke about when he said, "..I am come that they (you) might have life, and that they (you) might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). And the way we do it is by faith! Now do we pursue the fruit of the Spirit, or are you saying that we live by the Spirit? The fruit of the Spirit is in us, they will manifest. As opposed to living as mentioned in Galatians 5:19-21. Hebrews 11:39, We have even more reason to have faith than these heroes, of the faith. Even though they showed faith, they never saw the promise in the same way that we do, on this side of the Cross. They could not be made complete until the work of Jesus; the looked forward to Jesus and His work, we look at it from behind. May the Lord continue to bless you richly! |

76 | Empty inside being a Roman Catholic? | James 2:17 | heisthe1 | 24763
Well, Praise the Lord anyway! You are not a poor angel, you're an rich child of the King and as a child of the King you are a leader. Let your life be an example to your husband. As you continue to mature in the Lord he will eventually begin to seek what you have going on in your life. With God all things are possible! Your life will be a witness to your husband, let the Holy Spirit bring conviction to his heart. Remember we serve a caring God and his Word will not come back to him void, it will accomplish what it is sent out to do. So Rejoice, for all things happen together for the good, to them who love God and are called according to his purpose, you have a purpose in your life and you are not an accident and neighter is your marriage. You don't have any problems, all you need is faith in God!. By the way, I'll stand in agreement with you, praying for a break through for you husband, I don't know his name, but God does. Remember this one verse, "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1Corinthians 2:5 PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Que pasa hermano Those were some great scritures and I'm sure they back up your doctrine (suffering doctrine), but as I mentioned before, I don't believe in it. Lets face it you and some of the other brother's on this forum, you know who you are, the one's who write long enticing words and patting each other's back convincing only yourselves of your (sound) doctrines, but there are many other brother's and sister's who believe that God is still moving in people's lives with healing, deliverance from demonic forces, baptism in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tounges, laying on of hands, etc. you know what I'm speaking of. Bottom line is this, if you don't want all that God wants to offer, then great, I do. There is nothing wrong in disagreeing, can we agree on that! My name is written in the book of Life... You have something against what I just said, take it up with our God, please don't winne. So nice taking to you, got to go to the front line (where the battle is fought) hope to see you there. God bless you and I pray that God will move in your life in a mighty way. Por que Christo es la Vida! |

79 | How can God let us go through pain? | 1 Pet 2:24 | heisthe1 | 43137
Emmaus I don't believe in the suffering doctrine that you are refering to! Lets take a look at just what the "suffering doctrine" is about: The suffering doctrine has these basic suppositions: Since suffering happens and since God runs and controls everything--then suffering is either authored by God or allowed by God. If God authors or allows suffering it must be: . as the punishment (loving correction, discipline of His children, . so that He can have opportunities to demostrate His faithfulness to us in hard times, . so we in turn can demonstrate our trust in Him is spite of adverse circumstances or . to test our free will and make a way for us to grow spiritually. If God is NOT the author of the suffering then He still allows it as a natural result of our tenure in "the devil's world" where he is its author. Therefor, if we suffer, it must be Gods will that we suffer and: . We should be content with the assurance that God (through His GRACE) will help us get through it. . We should be content with the assurance that God will NEVER ask us to bear any burden which we are unable to bear (even if it KILLS us). . We should be content with the assurance that our suffering WILL end when we DIE (As opposed to the unbeliever whose suffering will never end) This doctrine--as doctrines go--SOUNDS very "religious," lofty, perhaps even pious. But I contend that it falls into a "unique" category of doctrines- "the doctrines of demons." The subtle danger of this doctrine is twofold First is places the believer in a state of non-resistance to the Devil and his darkness, and second, it places the blame (whether called that or not) (directly or indirectly) on God. The fruits of this teaching have been-among others: . pemature death . unnecessary suffering . the belief that God has dropped, left, abandoned of forsaken the person. . loss of faith . living in hypocrisy, (ie., believing a sickness is God's will, yet seeking to be rid of it medically). The primary error of the teaching-is in the primary supposition itself! The supposition that God is running, controlling everything-which is simply not true. God the Father is on His throne in Heaven, Jesus is seated there at His right hand and the Holy Spirit is here with us on earth. The functions of the Holy Spirit are, among others, that of comforter, counselor, teacher, reminder, spokesman, provider of power and giver of divine gifts. The Father and Jesus have ALREADY done- All they are going to do until Jesus returns and gathers His saints. The Father-sent his only begotten Son-to redeem us from the curse of the law. And, the Father-sowed His singular seed (Jesus) into the earth for the express purpose of producing and harvesting an abundant crop of sons of God! Sons that look like, act like and talk like Jesus! Jesus-came here, lived a sinless life, destroyed the works of the Devil wherever he found them and produced good works in their place. He taught and trained students to teach others to be-just like Him. He voluntarily and systematically took upon His own body the full curse of EVERY sin, sickness, disease, dysfunction, perversion and pain, paying the FULL and FINAL penalty FOR us. He did this by taking it upon his body-carrying it all to the cross of Calvary where He became the Atonement for us, by shedding His own blood and dying FOR us, and thereby redeeming us from the curse of the law. Then according to plan, He was buried, and after three days, having defeated the Devil, the Father resurrected Him from the dead. After this HE gave His followers last minute instructions. First to go and wait for the pouring out of the Holy Spirit and second, told them that once they received the Holy Spirit and power, to go into all nation-teaching, preaching, healing-and baptizing those that believe. Then He told them that those that did believe, and were baptized, would-speak in tongues, not be hurt by deadly things, cast out demons in Jesus' name and heal by the laying on of their hands-just as the other followers of Jesus did. Jesus set up an ongoing system to train and equip believers-to continue to: act as Jesus did, say what Jesus said and do what Jesus did. The Father sent the Holy Spirit with the same power and the same gifts that He had provided for Jesus in the earth. Jesus after His resurrection, proclaimed-"ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME!" And then turned around and said that we were to have the same dominion and authority-by the power of attorney-of His Name! The Name of Jesus! What I am saying-is that God the Father delegated running of things here on earth-to Jesus! And that Jesus delegated running of things here on earth-TO US! So, who is supposed to be running things here on Earth? WE ARE! How about that thorn in Paul's side?!! Thanks for your response, God Bless |

80 | Do you have to be baptized to be saved? | 1 Pet 3:21 | heisthe1 | 33169
NO. You don't have to be baptized to be saved! And I don't want to sound funny here, but unless you're hanging on a tree next to Jesus you don't have to get baptized, however if you want to be obidient and bury that old nature and old understanding (by being batptized) and walk in the Spirit, this is how we begin to "walk by faith, not by sight", 2Cor. 5:7. So the question is, why wouldn't anybody not want to be baptized? Psalms 1:1 Gods blessings
