42 | woman being silent in Church | 1 Tim 2:11 | pcdarcan1 | 137321
The application of the apostle Paul’s inspired command are understood in the light its context. When Paul wrote, the Chriatian meetings of the congregation at Corinth, including those meetings where "unbelievers" were present, lacked order. More than one person at a time would begin prophesying or speaking in a tongue. (1 Cor. 14:22-32) Evidently some women there would raise challenging questions and dispute with men appointed to teach the congregation. Thus these women were actually assuming the position of teachers and ignoring the position of headship assigned to the man.—1 Cor. 11:3. Correcting the situation, Paul called attention to the fact that God is a God, not of disorder, but of peace. (1 Cor. 14:33) Respecting women, he wrote let the women keep silent in the congregations, for it is not permitted for them to speak, but let them be in subjection, even as the Law says. If, then, they want to learn something, let them question their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in a congregation. (1 Cor. 14:34, 35) This admonition is in agreement with Paul’s later words in his first letter to Timothy to let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. Paul said under inspiration: I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence.—1 Tim. 2:11, 12. |

43 | Is the church is infallible? | 1 Tim 3:15 | pcdarcan1 | 137265
Hank, this is a violation of the Lockman Foundation rules, isn't it? Are you going to restrict this thread, too? If not, you are being hypocritical and following a double standard - can't you see this? Because all on this forum can see it crystal clear. This is an unbelievably sharp remark from BradK: "If these are indeed your "only true and honest observations", you need to be a bit more observant!" btw: Each instance of you avoiding and protecting your minions is more proof for my case with the Lockman Foundation and the general consesus of participants on this forum. You need to come clean about your association with the Lockman Foundation - please name names or I will be determined to find out and not give up. It's a matter of Godly principle. I know I don't worship a God who supports double standards - but your actions show you do. |

Oh, one more thing. You also need to revoke BradK's membership because he has shown no signs of repenting from these rude remarks and besmirching this forum.

Hi, I respect your feedback. What you don't know is that recently Steve (forget his username), attacked several of my posts and started playing games with his replys to my sincere efforts on this forum. When I called Steve on this, Hank stuck up for Steve (who clearly violated the guidelines and said that I the offended was quilty of breaking the rules). I called it a conspiracy and a use of double-standards... You seem like a reasonable poster. Check out the restricted post 2 Cor 4:4 and you will see where Steve admitted to be dishonest simply because he didn't "like" my scriptural responses. You'll see where Steve forced me to call his bluff and you'll also see Hank's ignoring of my requests to review the whole situation carefully. About BradK, please reread what he said... it wasn't kind at all and if Hank only reprimands who he doesn't like - I would call that favoritism and abuse of his privileges. Your last statement I agree with. As far as Lockman, I want to talk with them an go over each post to prove my case - it is very strong and Hank knows it... that is why he is trying to ignore me and is frantically restricting these otherwise fine threads. If you look at my posts (outside of the ones dealing with this issue), you'll see that Hank suppressed some very fine admonition from the apostle Paul that can really help people in these distressful times that we live. Thanks for your feedback, btw. |

46 | Is the church is infallible? | 1 Tim 3:15 | pcdarcan1 | 137298
Oh, even though the thread is restricted, you can still read it... Just search for "2 Cor 4:4". Thank-you kindly for your review and input. You will see where Steve was intentionally playing dumb (thus, less than dishonest) and he even admits it. The reason? Because he was passing judgement on my post and decided that he didn't like me - I'm not sure why though, I never did anything to him.

Hi Hank, what policy of the Lockman Foundation did this violate? Thank you kindly for our response.
50 | Which prophet ate a book? | Rev 10:9 | pcdarcan1 | 137173
Ezekiel did as commanded and gradually ate a sroll. (Ezek. 3:1-3) Surprisingly, the gloom-laden sroll was sweet as honey in Ezekiel’s mouth. This was because it was a good, wholesome, sweet experience for Ezekiel to be assigned a special work at the hand of the Most High God. |

51 | Can satan see the face of God? | Rev 12:7 | pcdarcan1 | 137292
At the time of Job, Satan and his demons had access to God, but not after the events of Rev 12:7-9 "Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, who fought back with his angels; but the dragon was defeated, and he and his angels were not allowed to stay in heaven any longer. "The huge dragon was thrown out - that ancient serpent, named the Devil, or Satan, that deceived the whole world. He was thrown down to earth, and all his angels with him." So, he no longer has access to heaven and thus the face of God. Rev 12:12 goes on to say: "And so be glad you heavens, and all you that live there! But how terrible for the earth and the sea! For the Devil has come to you, and he is filled with rage, because he knows that he has only a little time left." |
