41 | If we ask for healing does God answer no | 1 Peter | mitchbornagain | 146357
So its your belief that Adam had sickness and disease in the Garden?

Well if you are true in what you say, if people who follow after a false god can heal the sick, then why don't you give praise to that false god? I mean you don't believe God Almighty is willing to heal every sick person in this world, yet you believe a false god will, so from your remarks, I'd have to say, no reason to follow after your god, go with the compassionate one who will heal. I'm just saying, it might look on the outside as if satan has healed someone, yet there is no scripture which can tell you that satan has the power to heal. Thats not how he operates, he opposes God. He does no good works. Mitch |

43 | If we ask for healing does God answer no | 1 Peter | mitchbornagain | 146322
It is God's will to heal everyone. Jesus came into this world, and suffered a horrible penalty so that man could be restored to the relationship God inteded for us to have before Adam sinned in the Garden. I doubt many of us will doubt God sent his son to restore our relationship with Himself, so why is it we want to doubt he wanted to restore everything we lost? Scripture will tell you God is a healer, and its his will that everyone should be healed. To deny the power of the cross is foolishness, and you are trampling the blood of Christ underfoot. Has God Himself not stated I am the Lord that healeth thee? Show me where he says, I'm the Lord who healeth thee when I feel compassionate enough to. Or can we believe the Bible is true when it says God is love. So my answer, the biblical answer, is that it is God's will to heal everyone. But just like salvation, you must come to him and believe. One more question for you, whats wrong with me wanting to go to a service to hear a man of God speak? If I know a certain person will preach the uncompromised Word of God, and know that he will not water down the truth, then whats wrong with me being eager to go and hear him preach? So I go to the service to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, I go also to praise and to Worship, and I go also to hear the man of God deliver the Word with power and authority, and I go to be in the presence of the Almighty. But of all those I listed, the only ones that I can not get in my own prayer closet is the fellowship with the other believers and the certain speaker whom I wish to hear. I just think we need to reconsider before we decide to think its wrong to have a desire to hear certain people preach and teach. Otherwise, we'll show the unbelievers that there is no need to ever go to church. Mitch |

If we were to say that Satan can and will conterfit anything he sees, we would then have to say that Satan himself would have the power to remit sins from man. If you think someone is healing the sick, yet they are not doing it in the name of Jesus, or as you instead put it, if you believe they are not of God when they do it, you need to carefully analyze the situation. Was the cancer removed, then instead a tumor showed up? There are two kindgdoms on this earth, the Kingdom of God, and the kingdom of darkness, you operate in either of those. I dont care if you are atheist, you are still following the devil. And if the devil came to steal , kill and destroy, to then say he healed the sick, would be calling Jesus a liar. I would have to definitely agree with yayatheresa on this matter, the results of any believer in Jesus should be those which Christ said would follow those who beleive. Which include cast out demons, heal the sick, take up serpents with no harm, if they drink any deadly thing it will not harm them, and they will speak with other tongues. If you think someone has done any or all of these, yet has not been saved, you need to look at the sitation and see what the catch is. Satan might very well remove cancer from a person, if he can manage to, and replace it with something even worse. Jesus said all authority has been given unto him in heaven and earth, and then he gave us all that same authority, Satan doesn't have the power to heal the sick, believers do. I might be rambling now, I just wanted to say I agree with yayatheresa, and to ask you to reconsider before you ever believe Satan has done a compassionate work and healed anyone. Satan opposes God, and the Word tells us that its God's will to heal everyone. Mitch |
