41 | Does poverty mean that I'm not righteous | Ps 37:25 | humility | 218230
David said He has never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Does that mean that saints should never have to ask for help if they need it? What exactly is David saying?

44 | Born under the law of Moses | Not Specified | humility | 218005
Jesus told the leper to tell no man what had happened between them both, but show himself to the priest and offer the gifts as Moses commanded. Is this text saying that, before Jesus died He kept the law of Moses, offering up the sacrifices that would later be fulfilled in Him? Or is it saying that He taught others to keep the law and not Himself? We know He never sinned so what's the point of Him killing lambs? I guess if He did it, it was for conscience sake as well. Help me out somebody.(Gal 4:4; Matt 8:1-4) |

47 | Is this law still binding? If so, how? | Not Specified | humility | 217996
The Bible says if I approah (have sexual intercouse) with my wife while she's going through her menstrual cycle I have become "unclean" along with her. The law of Moses commanded that we both bathe in water and shall be "unclean" until the evening. I have two questions 1. Even though it was a Mosaic law, is it still a sin the have sexual intercourse with my wife when she's going through her time of menstruation? 2. Why until the evening, what was so special about the evening?

51 | Why did Paul do it? For conscience sake? | Acts 21:23 | humility | 217965
I don't understand this passage, If these vows were nailed to the cross (had met their symbolic fulfillment in Jesus Christ), why did the elders of the Church command Paul to go through with them? Verse 25 says He did it so the Jews may know that he also walked "orderly" keeping the law. Orderly in whose eyes? God's eyes or the Jews'?
52 | What's Needful Is Also Lawful! Rom 3:28 | Not Specified | humility | 217905
What do you say to a sister or brother in the faith who trys to justify their wrong by saying , "I am having an affair with my boss because my husband is unemployed and now I have to carry the weight. My cheque alone is too small to feed my household so this is what I have to do. Adultery is the law but there's also the spirit of the law that Jesus came to teach us. Rahab lied to save the spies and was blameless, so why can't I commit adultery to save myself and my family? Jesus broke the law and was also blameless so I know I'm right in His sight! The letter was nailed to tthe cross baby!

54 | Unemployment cheques for the saints. | Not Specified | humility | 217758
Would it be lawful on behalf of a Church to provide a weekly cheque for members that are unemployed? Just until they find another job? A part of me is saying yes because the Bible says we should help each other, another part of me is saying "It would only open the door to laziness and covetousness." What should a Church do?

58 | What's the role of an "help meet?" | Not Specified | humility | 216804
"And God said it is not good that man should be alone, I will make an help meet for him." (Gen 2:18) What exactly, is the role of an "help meet?" What could Eve do for Adam, that God could'nt or chose not to do? Afterall, Adam spoke "face to face" with God before Eve was created. I know that they we're to "be fruitful and multply and replenish the earth" so that's one reason He needed Eve. But what else did He need Eve for that He could'nt find in God? I ask because some people, even Christians believe that there's no real peace and joy in life if you're not married. I could only think of one pleasure that a wife could add to my life, that Jesus could'nt do, and that's sex. Anything else that a person looks for in marriage I have found in Jesus,to be honest. I want to get married but I don't feel that it's a need of mine. And I definitely don't think that not having a family is gonna ruin my relationship with God. Sex is only for a moment, just like all the other junk we try to replace Jesus with, they just won't can't satisfy the human heart. The more I see life the more I grow to understand that the majority of people, even some Christians get the role of the "help meet" and the role of "Jesus Christ" mixed up. So in closing, what should do we look for, in our "help meets?"

60 | Is there an unforgiveable sin? | Bible general Archive 4 | humility | 216352
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is our teacher, our sanctification, our comforter, and our glorification. If we ignore Him, then how else could we glorify God? Matt 12:30-33, John 16:13-14, John 14:26, Ephesians 4:30-32
