41 | what book devil's creation? | Ezek 28:13 | Scribe | 86463
Isaiah 14:12-14 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
42 | Why angels are not forgiven? | 2 Pet 2:4 | Scribe | 86461
1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. The only answer I can think of at the time, is that man can be forgiven only because of Jesus becoming Flesh and dying for man. Since this is the only thing that allows man to be forgiven, it leaves out the redemption of fallen angels since there is no evidence of God's plan being to send an angel to die for angels, howbeit some might take up such an argument, that the Angel of the Lord Paul says is Christ therefore is there not sufficiency in the death of christ for angels as well, or does not the creator's sacrifice suffice for all creation. I do not know. Good question. |

43 | The priest of Eden? | Gen 3:21 | Scribe | 86456
Never thought of it like that. It is not a bad thought actually. The first sacrifice for sin it, no doubt, must have been, slain as it were, without hands on this first altar made for man the skins, only a shadow of the blood that would cover man before the flood And who is this garden priest of Eden? none other than the Lamb slain predestined. 44 | Why can God can love the world, not us? | 1 John 2:15 | Scribe | 86454
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. The first verse simply means God loves the whole world, all the people of the world and gave His Son to die and rise again for their salvation if they will believe on Jesus Christ and commit their lives to serving Him. The second verse is using the word world as it relates to worldy things that are sensual and sinful. For instance instead of saying it like this.. Love not lusts of the flesh, pride and baostful spirit, sexual lusts, rich luxurious living that caters to your sensual appetites, dressing as if you want others to think you are sexualy available, and the list would go on and on filling volumes of books... Instead of saying that the word "world" is used. Worldliness is being motivated and controlled by the appetites of the carnal nature that demand gratification regardless of morality, Holiness denies the appetites of the flesh, putting them down daily until they are so mortified that they are silent and do not demand gratification and the thought of gratifying them or stirring them up makes the holy man ill to his stomach to even contemplate due to the fear of God placed in his heart by the Holy Spirit. It is a walk that begins with conversion and then you take up the cross daily dying to yourself and living unto God, but the Lords ways are much more fun than the worlds ways so that in a short time you find that what you gave up and denied of the flesh was like giving up dung for a steak or giving up death for Life. Only a fool and blind chooses death over life. God loving the world does not mean loving sin, but all the people of the world. |

55 | Summary of letters to the seven churches | Rev 1:11 | Scribe | 86431
Part 2 of 2 The Pergamos church are those that have a boldness and a zeal to take the battle to the gates of hell, they are quick to “stand up for their rights” demanding prayer in public schools, protesting abortion clinics, and many other things that seem like the right thing for us to do. They are even willing to die for the cause of Christ.. Nevertheless they seem to wink at personal sins, they allow doctrines to remain in their pulpits, minds, and hearts that tell them that it is ok to allow a little compromise, they will still be ok. Jesus hates this and demands repentance. Thyatira is the missionary church, raising money and doing great works, feeding the poor, feeding the hungry, and has many such missionary works ongoing that are all to be commended for, however this is the type of church or Christian that also entertains the idea that their missionary zeal will make up for a doctrine of compromise that says it is ok to have a porn addiction or other such compromise. The church at Sardis, is the church that is almost not a church. There are a few that really know the Lord and are still seeking Him, but many that are playing the church role, only on Sunday with no regard to the things of God any other day of the week, they are not even sure if they are saved or what the word means. They are the dead denomination that keeps presenting the front that they are a church but few among them have eternal life. The church of Philadelphia is the Church that is fervent of spirit, and they are known for Keeping His Word, they are Word focused and base all things as it relates to God and Christ on the Word, They are full of love for the Lord and for each other, making this their motive for service, they contend with those that would put saints under the law and refuse to compromise in the area of FAITH and worshipping in spirit and in truth. This local assembly or Christian is labeled a heretic by those that pretend to be experts in the “legality” of doctrine, but they never waver and keep on quoting the word rightly understood. The Laodecians are those churches or Christians that are not even willing to question for one second whether their denomination, colleges, pastors, or books are in error, they are confident that they sit on top of all the churches and are the blessed of God, that they have a better handle on doctrine than any other group and that their “fine” institutions have enabled them to say “that this is the finest hour the church has ever seen” and they have become smug and pompous in their pride. They have no need. They are confident that they are a light of the blind, a teacher of the foolish, an instructor of babes, and anyone that dares question their interpretation of scripture is pitied as ignorant and unlearned. They are certain that their denominational strength enables them to do great things in the world to advance the kingdom of God and are certain that God is behind it all. However they have no reliance on the Holy Spirit to give them power to be witnesses. They rely on programs and organized efforts distributed by their headquarters and not on the leading of the Spirit in their hearts. They are rich and increased with worldy power but they do not recall the scripture that says Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. I have by no means exhausted the descriptions given. But if you meditate on these things, (provided you are born again, (the natural man cannot receive the spiritual things of God)) then the Lord will open them up to you as you trust Him to do so. |

56 | Summary of letters to the seven churches | Rev 1:11 | Scribe | 86430
Part of 2 The message to the seven churches are the words of Christ to the Church. If you ever wandered what Jesus would say about your church if He were to show and and tell you, you do not have to wonder any longer. All you have to do is read and prayerfully meditate on Reve 2 and 3. The angel tells John what the meaning of the vision of the Glorified Son of God is. He is told that the stars He holds are the angels of the seven churches and the candlesticks are the seven churches. The KJV scholars being faithful to the greek translated it angels and that is exactly what the Lord wanted us to understand. Without going into it so I can fit everything in this post, using angels was to convey the promise that if the pastors and leadership and preachers are faithful they will inherit great rewards and be “as” the angels. The candlesticks in Jesus hand speaks of all the church and not just these 7. Is Jesus only holding these 7 churches in his hands or are not all saints, (all the church) in the palm of His hand? So why 7, it speaks the whole true church and not just those that call themselves church. The Lord knows whos are his and let every man that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. As you review each church I believe you are seeing a type of church, denomination, local assembly, or even individual Christian conditions of the heart. In church history you might even be able to identify certain church “ages” or historic periods where a particular church in this list fits the condition of the church world wide until a certain change like the reformation etc.. As much as has been written about those things, they never edify me or bear witness in my spirit. I feel that the best application is, a type of local assembly, denominational or otherwise, and a type of Christian condition. So from the time it was written until today we have always had all 7 types with us and all saints of all ages can read this portion and determine to please Christ based on what is revealed here about what Jesus hates and what he likes in our lives and in our churches. So in Ephesus, you have a type of denomination, local church or even a Christian that is very effective at identifying false doctrine and hates the teachings that lead to compromise as it relates to sin, but in their perfection of doctrine and their willingness to “contend” for the faith, they have left their first love. What is the first love? We can say it is the affectionate adoratioin of the believer to Jesus Christ, or the whole hearted devotion to the person of Jesus. It is very common for very educated theologians who began with no knowledge of scripture at all and were known for their fervency of spirit and love for the Lord, to grow cold over time and after learning all doctrine, to leave off worship and adoration of Christ who washed them from their sins. It is also common for denominations who started off with a fresh revelation the church needed, to perfect that doctrine and become champions of that doctrine and yet loose their love for Christ and the freshness of that doctrine they once knew, so that they become a mechanized machine going through the motions. The Smyrna church is that type of church or Christians that have nothing in the eyes of the world, even living in government projects or worse in persecution in countries that arrest Christians, that have all that really matters, a love for the Lord and willing heart to go all the way with Christ. These saints are poor in the eyes of the world, but they bubble over with the love of Christ and are rich in heaven. These are they that keep on glowing even when the world seems set on stamping them out. They don’t follow the name it and claim it crowd because they don’t really care what they drive, their heart is set on higher things and so they are counted WORTHY to suffer for his name so that they might receive treasures this world can never know. 57 | I'm still looking for the answer | Phil 1:14 | Scribe | 86337
Because Paul was an example to them. They were inspired to greater faith. To preach without regard to the consequences. That is what happens when we see others that have faith that is willing to suffer persecution without backing down. It makes others rise up in faith as well. And Faith (as well as love) casts out fear. If |

60 | The coming of the Lord at the rapture | Joel 2:31 | Scribe | 86318
Part 2 of 2 One of the most powerful arguments for pre-trib, is the fact that we are not appointed to wrath. That is mentioned in several places, one of the places is in Romans. If we are to be delivered from the wrath to come it does not make sense that we would have to live under the outpouring of the seals, bowls, vials, trumpets, etc where the wrath of God is poured out in the Day of the Lord. If we do live through it then the only theological answer that fits would be that we would be supernaturally protected, but that is not the case in the book of Revelation, those saints there are allowed by God to be killed, and forbidden to fight back. Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. We see that the 144000 are sealed before judgement is poured out, and maybe that means all saints and that they are protected. I do not believe saints are going to be killed by the wrath of God, the judgments that come upon the wicked in Revelation. So that leaves only two things, they are supernaturally protected or, they die under the persecution of men and the antichrist, and do not die from the judgments that the antichrist and the wicked are dieing from. This might give you encouragement but it does not give me any. I think that the only way Paul’s instructions to comfort one another with these words applies is if I am promised not to see death, as he stated a generation would not see death. So we have conflicting messages often being thrown at us from these different views of prophesy. There are saints in the tribulation.. they die and are seen in heaven.. But Paul said those that are changed and rise do not die.. so those saints killed for their faith in Revelation are not of that generation that do not die... The saints mentioned in revelation are allowed to be killed by the antichrist and forbidden to fight back, so they are not the group that are changed at the "end of the tribulation" as you have suggested is the "only possible" meaning. Now we are left with the question if the saints in Revelation are not the ones that are changed and rise and do not die, then who are the saints that this will happen too? Is it the ones that are left at the end of the tribulation.. a remnant after the holocaust? Or is it the group that are ready for the Coming of the Lord in a pretribulation rapture, and who go out much more triumphantly shining like the sun, leaving the world to face the wrath of God. |
