44 | Who is the Bride of Christ? | Revelation | SSprln | 1727

45 | Point of No Return | Revelation | SSprln | 1726
"Concerning your second quesiton about the impossibility of being save[d] during the tribulation period if one had heard the gospel before the rapture occurred--I taught this for many years but then discovered some new light on this subject while studying Acts Chapter 2. This chapter covers the tribulation hour and verse 21 dogmatically declares that 'whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'. The text in II Thessalonians 2:9-12 in context sees the antichrist enthroned. Those who trust him (antichrist) and receive the mark because of the strong delusion permeating the world are the ones who are condemned. See Revelation 14:11. I hope this helps."

49 | Accuracy not a requirement...? | Revelation | SSprln | 1499
You're probably right, but Van Impe *has* done a lot for God; I was just mentioning his "credits" to show that he is certainly *qualified* to teach the Bible. Yes, he does lean toward sensationalism a little bit, but I really, to tell the honest truth, can't figure out what's wrong w/that.
50 | STILL entertaining? | Revelation | SSprln | 1498
I didn't realize that Dr. Van Impe had done that. That was before I started watching his show. I'm dissapointed, to say the least. I didn't list Hal Lindsey, though. I've never liked him. What do you have against Tim LaHaye, though? He's good, and he's never made such predictions.
51 | STILL entertaining? | Revelation | SSprln | 1457
I still don't understand. He is not trying to entertain; he is a man of God, I believe.
52 | Accuracy not a requirement...? | Revelation | SSprln | 1456
I'm not the one who SAID accuracy wasn't a requirement. It IS! Yes, I know how to spell Revelation; typing error. Anyway, In my opinion, Dr. Van Impe IS pretty accurate; maybe not the best of the 3, but he's still one of the better prophecy scholars that I know. By the way, he has 14 doctorates in theology.
53 | read and understand the question | Revelation | SSprln | 1407
The best commentary on Revaltion (not "Revelations") WOULD be one that is easy to understand for new-comers and one that is accurate. I've already given you 3 titles.
54 | Entertaining? | Revelation | SSprln | 1406
Exactly what did you mean by "entertaining?"
55 | SECOND CHANCE | Rev 7:1 | SSprln | 1366

56 | Is Hades Hell? | Bible general Archive 1 | SSprln | 1341
Hard question, but I know the answer. I don't feel like answering it right now, though, so give me your e-mail and I'll reply later. My e-mail is scotty_spurlin13@arkansas.net.
57 | BEST COMMENTARY ON REVELATION? | Revelation | SSprln | 1249
Jack Van Impe: REVELATION REVEALED. Not because of his writing talent, but because of his near-perfect theology.
58 | Good study guide for Revelation? | Revelation | SSprln | 1248
Right. I read this book too: "Revelation: God's Word For the Biblically Inept." I agree whole-heartedly that it is a good book for new-comers to the book of Revelation, and it made things like the one-world religion and the 7 hills of Rome, etc. very easy to understand. I also agree, though, that it did leave me asking a lot of questions.
59 | Good study guide for Revelation? | Revelation | SSprln | 1247
REVELATION UNVEILED (Dr. Tim LaHaye), REVELATION REVEALED (Dr. Jack Van Impe), COMMENTARY ON REVELATION (Dr. J. Vernon McGee).
60 | What are the seven seals? | Revelation | SSprln | 1246
The 7 seals are the first set of judgements in the Tribulation Hour, which tech. also include the Trumpet Judgments. According to my understanding and interpretation, they are to occur during the first quarter of the Tribulation Period. By the way, I reccommend reading either REVELATION UNVEILED (Dr. Tim LaHaye) or REVELATION REVEALED (Dr. Jack Van Impe).
