46 | Is this disciple following Jesus, Judas | John 21:20 | Edd | 178714
Okay we know that John wrote the gospel of John but it is not clear whose head was on Christ’s bosom; however, the scriptures indicate it was Judas Matt 26:20 When it was evening, He was reclining at table with the twelve disciples. Matt 26:21 And as they were eating, He said, Solemnly I say to you, one of you will betray Me! Matt 26:22 They were exceedingly pained and distressed and deeply hurt and sorrowful and began to say to Him one after another, Surely it cannot be I, Lord, can it? Matt 26:23 He replied, He who has [just] dipped his hand in the same dish with Me will betray Me! Matt 26:24 The Son of Man is going just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better (more profitable and wholesome) for that man if he had never been born! [Ps. 41:9.] Matt 26:25 Judas, the betrayer, said, Surely it is not I, is it, Master? He said to him, You have stated [the fact]. |

According to Halley’s Bible handbook Joseph was of unblemished character, unusually handsome, with an exceptional gift for leadership, and ability to make the best of every unpleasant situation. He was born in Haran, 75 years after the death of Abraham, 30 years before the death of Isaac, when his father was about 90, and eight years before they returned to Canaan. At the age of seventeen Joseph was sold into Egypt. In Potiphar’s house the wife tempts him. Joseph refuses, she, angered, reports to her husband that he had tried to force her. The husband plans to kill him; he flees. Thirteen years in Potiphar’s house, and in prison. Later at age of 30 Joseph became ruler of Egypt. Died at age 110.

Did this man have good intentions, because the Romans used vinegar as a healing liquid? Mark 15:36 And one man ran, and, filling a sponge with vinegar (a mixture of sour wine and water), put it on a staff made of a [bamboo-like] reed and gave it to Him to drink, saying, Hold off! Let us see whether Elijah [does] come to take Him down. [Ps. 69:21.] |

Ouch, ouch, OUCH ! and thank you because that was a very good scripture selection, God must have used you, but keep in mind what Jesus said about " weak unsalty Christian" in Matthew 5:13 states "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men". CDBJ,it’s time to take a rest from all the things that make us weary today -- ministry work included. Let’s take some time out with the Lord and get quiet before Him. 56 | Does the bible support reincarnation | Titus 3:5 | Edd | 168861

My question to you is who enlisted you; because in Matthew 7:21 Jesus said, Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

Matt 28:18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Matt 28:19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Acts 8:16 For He had not yet fallen upon any of them, but they had only been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. And he laid his hands on Saul and said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, Who appeared to you along the way by which you came here, has sent me that you may recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Acts 9:18 And instantly something like scales fell from [Saul's] eyes, and he recovered his sight. Then he arose and was baptized, Acts 9:19 And after he took some food, he was strengthened. For several days [afterward] he remained with the disciples at Damascus. Acts 9:20 And immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, saying, He is the Son of God! |
