41 | Am I going to Hell for attending UMC | Bible general Archive 4 | DPMartin | 234276
It is interesting how so many church goers know all about going to hell, and who’s going to be there, ( I guess they don’t what to be the only ones, or maybe its out of jealousy because they know they are going) and know nothing of going to Heaven and who’s going to be there. When it comes to going to hell and who is and isn’t going. Remember this, in Revelations the Lord shows John that He has the keys to the gate of hell in His hand. Therefore no one goes to hell unless the Lord says they do. |

43 | Ox in stall with Ox defication? | Prov 14:4 | DPMartin | 234273
Sounds like you’ve heard a messed up version of it. Prov:14:4: Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. |

44 | "bless God". | Ex 20:6 | DPMartin | 234066
A perfect God can be blessed by those who love Him.
45 | can someone answer a question on how you | Luke 17:1 | DPMartin | 234059
It is the Lord that knows if someone will go to Heaven or not, and since He is the one who decides that, about not only others but you also, what is it that you have to know, other than, whether the Lord has decided that you should go to Heaven or not. Luke:17:20: And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. |

46 | How do you demonstrate contentment? | NT general | DPMartin | 234054
What if you are content with money, the spoils of ill gain, putting people in bondage to you and receiving moneys, so on and so forth? Your view of contentment is just that, your view, why don’t you ask the Lord Jesus what His view of what contentment is? It is a fool that thinks the Lord ought to think as the fool does. Jesus was content, why wasn’t those around Him content that He was there with them? Could it be that they were content to be with out God’s Presence with them in the world? |

47 | Sins against "human rights"? | NT general | DPMartin | 234052
As you are probably noticing, your expectations in human nature might be unwarranted, because what you expect to be in human nature, is not there. If your hope, (expectation) is in Christ, the Lord is able, even if you are incorrect about what expectations should be in the Lord. But trusting human nature is death, trusting the Lord Jesus Christ is Life, Life everlasting. You don’t have to condemn the world, and we are told by the Lord not to. The world drinks from the cup it loves, human nature. |

All over the bible, consider, what are the consequences if God doesn’t forgive someone?
49 | How many went with Rebekah to Canaan | Gen 24:61 | DPMartin | 234016
Back in the day a servant could have servants under him. It doesn’t say Abraham’s servant was by himself. So it might be possible that the nurse had nurses under her and wherever she went her nurses under her went with her. It was understood as such. If you hire a business owner to do something like fix your car or remodel your home, those who are under him or in his employ also come with his services.

51 | God, brings wicked to destruction | 2 Tim 2:15 | DPMartin | 233998
The none believer becomes a believer and receives Life, everlasting. What happens to the spirit of the none belief or even the none believer, and even none belief. The spirit of none belief cannot be present in the same body as the Spirit of the believer. If the none believer never believes and refuses the Truth then he never has received Life that is of God. Therefore could the destroyer be none belief? Hence the none believer drinks the cup of his own choosing. Because in the Presence of God there will be no, none belief, will there? Consider, anyone at the time of the first Passover had to be a believer to survive, otherwise they would have not of depended on the presence of the Blood, to deliver them from death. |

52 | a sweet savour | Bible general Archive 4 | DPMartin | 233994
Maybe you should ask yourself these questions, and if it is true that the Fire of the Holy Spirit be with you in power. Then maybe others would seek to know what you know, seeing that the Lord God approves and makes His Presence known to others around you. (you know, like Jesus) There are those who believe one must be a raging lunatic to be a “true” believer, and some times the same ether stays away from true believers, or practice acting like it to prove they are a true believer. |

53 | why was Canaan cursed by Noah because he | Lev 18:8 | DPMartin | 233992
Noah walked with God, hence God walked with Noah, and Noah found Grace before God so if one of his sons disrespects him and goes to his brothers and tries to shame Noah, and if you noticed his other two sons didn’t look upon their father’s nakedness and covered it. What do you think Noah is going to do? If you noticed, it is God who made the curse stick from one generation to the next. |

54 | God created man in "OUR" image? | Gen 1:1 | DPMartin | 233981
Well then, what exited before man? Just about everything there is except man. Is it possible that angels exited before man did? And were they in the company or in the Presence of God at the time God said let us made man in our image? |

55 | what ggod works God created us for? | Eph 2:10 | DPMartin | 233944
Well, creation is a good work, isn’t it? And God worked to make it all, (according to scripture) so shouldn’t you be looking to the work that Jesus did and does, as to what is a good work? Consider, that which is set for destruction, can be restored, redeemed, saved, to its original state. And that original state of all things made by God, God said was good, very good. |

56 | What is abominable things we cannot eat? | Leviticus | DPMartin | 233943
If you are an Israelite under the Law, then its abominable and you can’t eat it. Otherwise it is a lessen in what the Lord said at the end of it: Lev:11:45: For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 46: This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: 47: To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. Holiness clean, pure, and not defiled is imperative in God’s Presence. So much so that the presence of the clean, cleans the unclean, purifies the defiled, and makes Holy that which was not Holy. Hence, Jesus for example when He “clean”, cleaned the unclean, a leper. Or a woman defiled and condemned by men,(the woman accused of adultery) pure in the site of God. |

57 | Why did god make man in it's image? | 2 Cor 3:18 | DPMartin | 233942
Modvenger Why, did you see God? What makes you think God is to look human-like? If God made man in His image and likeness then shouldn’t men look God like? And if men are supposed to be God like, then if they are not God like then they fall way short of what men are made to be. Isn’t that so? |

58 | Was Adam created in Gen 1:26 or Gen 2:7? | Gen 1:26 | DPMartin | 233893
Don’t be confused: Believe it not there is a logic here, its just not the way people would write today. I believe a good example is Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The stories about theses people start and then end with there death but the start of the story of the next generation for example Abraham to Isaac gives the impression that the next story starts after the death in the previous story. Not so, Noah was alive when Abraham (ten generations later) was alive, and Shem son of Noah was alive when Jacob was alive. So in the first chapter of Genesis creation of all things are said. Then the next chapter the focuses is on man. Therefore the details of the creation of man and so one are said. |

59 | Does God appoint our leaders ? | Rom 13:1 | DPMartin | 233891
Rom:13:1: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. It says here that God ordained the power, it doesn’t say God ordained the person who has the governmental power. A throne of a kingdom, or a presidential office is ordained, but who occupies it is not mentioned as ordained. For example, there are those who even serve the president with honor and respect, but that doesn’t mean they voted for who holds the office. Paul is saying that one should respect the powers in the world they are ordained by God. |

60 | why is it better to give than to receive | Acts 20:35 | DPMartin | 233890
If you are able to give, then you have received more then your need to have. That would mean you are blessed to the point that you can give without expectation of a return.
