41 | Had Adam and Eve not fallen, then what? | Bible general Archive 2 | Aniset | 106292
Well my friend, Adam is the life giver. The male is the head of the house hold and the life giver of the off spring. Sin was not pass on to us through Eve, it was through Adam that we inherated sin. Romans 5:12,18 In example: have you ever thought about how Jesus born perfect althought he was born of a woman? well, It is because his Father the Almighty is Perfect and he inherited no sin from Mary. So if Adam had not eaten from the tree things would have still been perfect and GOD may have given him a new wife. |

No they do not all lead to GOD. Many people teach that they do , but what does the bible say? Eph 4:5,13 One hope, one faith, one baptism. This points out that there are not many ways to serve the Almighty GOD. He has only one way to serve him. And he points out the ways to tell who is not serving him correctly. Recognized by it's fruit Matthew 7:19,20;Luke 6:43,44: John 15:8. God set standards for worship. John 4:23,24; James 1:27 The Bible also points out thare are many gods but only one true GOD 1Corinthians 8:5,6 Anyone or thing that people worship can be a God to them. For some it is money, idols, even other people. Their are people that worship the dead, Satin, animals, The virgin Mary. On the other hand a Christian is one that follows Jesus Christ and his teachings only and not lean on their own understanding. |

(Daniel 9:26) Well yet we still have the desire to know more. Well, I have a book that's gets more in detail about Christ' life, It is called THE GREATEST MAN THAT EVERED LIVED. 46 | Bible to be taken literally? | Matthew | Aniset | 106249
The bible is not all literal. There are also symbloic parts. When Jesus said that all the old laws were to remain in effect (Matt 5:18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.") He was saying that laws would not be changed until it has fulfilled it's purpose. Notice that there are other laws that had also been changed. 1 was on divorce. Matthew 19:7-9. |

48 | If u r saved can u ever become un saved? | Heb 6:4 | Aniset | 105530
Once a person is saved, is he always saved? Jude 5, RS: "I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe." (Italics added.) Matt. 24:13, RS: "He who endures to the end will be saved." (So a person's final salvation is not determined at the moment that he begins to put faith in Jesus.) Phil. 2:12, RS: "As you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." (This was addressed to "the saints," or holy ones, at Philippi, as stated in Philippians 1:1. Paul urged them not to be overly confident but to realize that their final salvation was not yet assured.) Heb. 10:26, 27, RS: "If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Thus the Bible does not go along with the idea that no matter what sins a person may commit after he is "saved" he will not lose his salvation. It encourages faithfulness. See also Hebrews 6:4-6, where it is shown that even a person anointed with holy spirit can lose his hope of salvation.) |

53 | Explain the Holy Trinity-verysimple form | Numbers | Aniset | 104252
Is such reasoning hard to follow? Many sincere believers have found it to be confusing, contrary to normal reason, unlike anything in their experience. How, they ask, could the Father be God, Jesus be God, and the holy spirit be God, yet there be not three Gods but only one God? THIS confusion is widespread. The Encyclopedia Americana notes that the doctrine of the Trinity is considered to be "beyond the grasp of human reason." Many who accept the Trinity view it that same way. Monsignor Eugene Clark says: "God is one, and God is three. Since there is nothing like this in creation, we cannot understand it, but only accept it." Cardinal John O'Connor states: "We know that it is a very profound mystery, which we don't begin to understand." And Pope John Paul II speaks of "the inscrutable mystery of God the Trinity."HOW could such a confusing doctrine originate? The Catholic Encyclopedia claims: "A dogma so mysterious presupposes a Divine revelation." Catholic scholars Karl Rahner and Herbert Vorgrimler state in their Theological Dictionary: "The Trinity is a mystery . . . in the strict sense . . . , which could not be known without revelation, and even after revelation cannot become wholly intelligible." However, contending that since the Trinity is such a confusing mystery, it must have come from divine revelation creates another major problem. Why? Because divine revelation itself does not allow for such a view of God: "God is not a God of confusion."-1 Corinthians 14:33, Revised Standard Version (RS). |

54 | Loyal to who?? | Numbers | Aniset | 104248
I have been waiting for a question like this . Jesus is not GOD, He is GOD's only begotten son. This is confusing to a lot of people because the new translations of the bible has taken GOD's name out and replaced it with Lord, thus making people believe that they are one in the same. Most Churches also do not teach the differance between GOD the father and Jesus the son. GOD's name in JEHOVAH if said in English and YAHWEH in Hebrew. Jehovah Definition: The personal name of the only true God. His own self-designation. Jehovah is the Creator and, rightfully, the Sovereign Ruler of the universe. "Jehovah" is translated from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton, ????, which means "He Causes to Become." These four Hebrew letters are represented in many languages by the letters JHVH or YHWH. Where is God's name found in Bible translations that are commonly used today? The New English Bible: The name Jehovah appears at Exodus 3:15; 6:3. See also Genesis 22:14; Exodus 17:15; Judges 6:24; Ezekiel 48:35. (But if this and other translations use "Jehovah" in several places, why not be consistent in using it at every place where the Tetragrammaton appears in the Hebrew text?)Revised Standard Version: A footnote on Exodus 3:15 says: "The word LORD when spelled with capital letters, stands for the divine name, YHWH." Today's English Version: A footnote on Exodus 6:3 states: "THE LORD: . . . Where the Hebrew text has Yahweh, traditionally transliterated as Jehovah, this translation employs LORD with capital letters, following a usage which is widespread in English versions." King James Version: The name Jehovah is found at Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4. See also Genesis 22:14; Exodus 17:15; Judges 6:24. American Standard Version: The name Jehovah is used consistently in the Hebrew Scriptures in this translation, beginning with Genesis 2:4. 56 | is it possiable for us to sin in heaven | Rev 22:3 | Aniset | 104231
A descriptive designation applied to the "king of Babylon." (Isa 14:4, 12) The Hebrew expression thus translated (NW, Ro, Yg) comes from a root meaning "shine." (Job 29:3) The rendering "Lucifer" (KJ, Da) is derived from the Latin Vulgate. The "shining one" is represented as saying in his heart: "Above the stars of God I shall lift up my throne, and I shall sit down upon the mountain of meeting." (Isa 14:13) Biblical evidence points to Mount Zion as the "mountain of meeting." (See MOUNTAIN OF MEETING.) Hence, since stars can refer to kings (Nu 24:17; Re 22:16), "the stars of God" must be the kings of the Davidic line who ruled from Mount Zion. The "king of Babylon" (the dynasty of Babylonian kings), reflecting the attitude of Satan the god of this system of things, indicated his ambition to lift up his throne "above the stars of God" by desiring to make the kings of the line of David mere vassals and then finally to dethrone them. Like stars that shed light, the "king of Babylon" shone brightly in the ancient world and could be termed "shining one." The bible does not call him an archangel. However he was an angel. God does not create any thing and makes it to worship him. Everyone has a choice. |

57 | Is lifting His name related to this vs? | John 12:32 | Aniset | 104217
Matthew 6:9 "YOU must pray, then, this way: "'Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Jesus also told his father that he has made his name known. John 17:26. Now we must think. If The name of God was inportant enough for Jesus to make it known, and also for him to tell us to pray for GOD's name to be sanctified, then we as follwers of Christ must also lift up God's name. Now the Question I have for you is: What is God's Name. |

58 | Sex before marriage | Heb 13:4 | Aniset | 104214
1 Thess. 4:3-8: "This is what God wills . . . that you abstain from fornication; that each one of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God; that no one go to the point of harming and encroach upon the rights of his brother in this matter, because Jehovah is one who exacts punishment for all these things, just as we told you beforehand and also gave you a thorough witness. For God called us, not with allowance for uncleanness, but in connection with sanctification. So, then, the man that shows disregard is disregarding, not man, but God, who puts his holy spirit in you." (The Greek word por·nei´a, translated "fornication," refers to sexual intercourse between unmarried persons, also to extramarital relations on the part of married persons.) Eph. 5:5: "No fornicator or unclean person or greedy person-which means being an idolater-has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God." (This does not mean that anyone who in the past was a fornicator cannot enjoy the blessings of God's Kingdom, but he must cease that way of life in order to have God's approval. See 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.) |

59 | Theological Question | James 1:25 | Aniset | 104099
Yes. If we love GOD and obey his comandments we will be blessed because we will have a clean conscious and we will know that we are doing what is required to please him well. (John 8:29,Romans 15:21,1John3:22. We also know that when Jesus was on earth he was hated by many. Many did not accept him as the son of GOD.(John15:17-22) . So All christians should expect to be treated the same way that Christ was treated. |

60 | What is Faith | Gal 5:22 | Aniset | 104097
Faith The word "faith" is translated from the Greek pi´stis, primarily conveying the thought of confidence, trust, firm persuasion. Depending on the context, the Greek word may also be understood to mean "faithfulness" or "fidelity."-1Th 3:7; Tit 2:10. The Scriptures tell us: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." (Heb 11:1) "Assured expectation" translates the Greek word hy·po´sta·sis. This term is common in ancient papyrus business documents. It conveys the idea of something that underlies visible conditions and guarantees a future possession. In view of this, Moulton and Milligan suggest the rendering: "Faith is the title deed of things hoped for." (Vocabulary of the Greek Testament, 1963, p. 660) Faith is, therefore, the basis for hope and the evidence for conviction concerning unseen realities. The entire body of truths delivered by Jesus Christ and his inspired disciples constitutes the true Christian "faith." (Joh 18:37; Ga 1:7-9; Ac 6:7; 1Ti 5:8) Christian faith is based on the complete Word of God, including the Hebrew Scriptures, to which Jesus and the writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures frequently referred in support of their statements. Faith is based on concrete evidence. The visible creative works testify to the existence of an invisible Creator. (Ro 1:20) In the Hebrew Scriptures, the word ´a·man´ and other words closely related convey the sense of trustworthiness, faithfulness, steadiness, steadfastness, being firmly established, long-lasting. (Ex 17:12; De 28:59; 1Sa 2:35; 2Sa 7:16; Ps 37:3) One related noun (´emeth´) usually denotes "truth," but also "faithfulness" or "trustworthiness." (2Ch 15:3, ftn; 2Sa 15:20; compare Ne 7:2, ftn.) The familiar term "Amen" (Heb., ´a·men´) also comes from ´a·man´.-See AMEN |
