Thank you very much. This answers question number 2 beyond expectation. Can anyone answer questions number 1 or 3? Here they are again: 1 Is it true the fruit on the forbidden tree was a quince? If so, what is a quince and how can we get info on it? 3. How close was the area Saddam was captured to the garden of Eden? Happy Easter Brad K, Chusarcik |

42 | QUestions on book of Genesis | Heb 11:4 | Chusarcik | 117981
My Bible group is studying Genesis. We've come across some questions: 1 Is it true the fruit on the forbidden tree was a quince? If so, what is a quince and how can we get info on it? 2. Were Adam and Eve instructed by God to do blood sacrifices or did Abel just guess that was appropriate? 3. How close was the area Saddam was captured to the garden of Eden? Thanks, Chusarcik |

43 | What caused the mist? | Gen 2:6 | Chusarcik | 114673
I read somewhere there was a canopy of water in the sky prior to the flood. Did this somehow cause the mist or dew that came out of the ground to water the plants? Chusarcik
44 | Can anyone elaborate further? | Gen 2:6 | Chusarcik | 114672
Yes, that's part of it and also Genesis chapter One where God separated the waters below and above. Can anyone elaborate on how the whole system of watering worked in antediluvian times? Also, were people vegetarians before the flood? I noticed in Genesis Chapter 1 that God gave people plants for food but it doesn't say anything about God giving animals for food. Chusarcik |

45 | detalils on separation of waters | Gen 2:6 | Chusarcik | 114664
Can anyone explain the structure of the water in the sky and on earth prior to the flood of Noah? Genesis One says God separated the waters on the earth and sky. I've heard this means there was no rain before the flood and that plants were watered by dew. I'm having trouble piecing it together in a logical way. Chusarcik
46 | Need verses on Christian fellowship | Acts 2:42 | Chusarcik | 108847

47 | Was Pilate innocent of Jesuscrucifiction | Matt 27:26 | Chusarcik | 104691
Matthew 26:24-27 states Pilate washed his hands of the crime of killing Jesus. Does this mean Pilate was innocent of shedding Jesus' blood? It's confusing to me and looks like it could be taken either way. Chusarcik
48 | Was Judas truly repentent? | Matt 27:3 | Chusarcik | 104685
Was Judas Iscariot saved? In reading Matthew 27:3-5, it looks like Judas admitted and repented from his sin. Can anyone shed light on this?
49 | how does this show what to give to God? | Gen 1:27 | Chusarcik | 102630
In Matthew 22 verses 18-20 when the Pharisees ask Jesus about paying taxes, Jesus tells them look at the coin and that becuase Caeser's portrait is on it the tax belongs to the government. Jesus then says, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." This illustration clearly shows Christ followers are to pay taxes but I have a question on the second part of Jesus' comment above where He says...to God what is God's." The question is this: How does the illstration show what to give God? Chusarcik |

50 | Does this make it more clear? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93775
As far as I can tell, it just says the center of the earth. I'm trying to figure out what's in the center of the earth, who the disobedient spirits were and why he was preaching to them. Chusarcik
51 | Is this what you mean? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93670
Radioan2, Thanks for laying out the two opinions. in opinion (2) were you referring to the faithful humans who died before Christ came? And that Christ went to them to announce His finished work on the cross so they could have eternal life? Chusarcik |

52 | Asking the original question again? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93645
That's great and Copeland sounds like a nut, for sure, but I don't think you addressed the original question. My original question is Why was Jesus in the center of the earth for 3 days preaching to the spirits who disobeyed in the days of Noah? Who were these disobedient spirits? 1 Peter 3:19-20.

54 | What 'syour opinion on original question | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93643
Pastor Glenn, Thanks for your comments. What do you,or anyone else who wishes to respone, think Jesus was doing in the center of the earth for 3 days? (1Peter 3:19-20) Chusarcik |

55 | Continuing search why 3 days in earth? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93614
Yes, 1 Peter 3:18-20 gives the event of Jesus crucifiction and the preaching to the spirits in prison who disobeyed in Noah's days together and it seems we may be able to conclude that the preaching to the spirits was during the 3 days in the earth. Could Jesus have been making a statement to the Nephilim Truthfinder explained in the post above during the 3 days? Truthfinder, I'd like your response on this. Chusarcik |

56 | Any scriptural support? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93613
That's an interesting thought and one I have not heard anyone bring up. Does anyone have any scripture that could back up this idea? Chusarcik
57 | Am I understanding your meaning? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93565
I'm trying to combine your two answers and understand the whole meaning. Are you saying that Jesus preached to the Nephilim in 1 Peter 3:18-19 but this was a separate event from the the three days Jesus spentin the earth illustrated in Matthew 12:40 and also in Ephesians 4:9-10 where it says Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth? Sorry to keep asking questions, butI've read many different opinions and am trying to get it all straight. Chusarcik
58 | To which of these places did Jesus go? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93558
Truthfinder, Thanks for the parallel text info in Jude and thankyou for defining the different meanings of Hades,Tartarus, Sheol and the Abyss. Which of these places is the the place in Matthew 12:40 where it says in my NIV Bible that Jesus went to the center of the earth for three days? My Bible study notes do not give that information. Chusarcik |

59 | Is it this one? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93527
I think that's the one where you said, "Here is my opinion....." Think I read that one. If it's a different one, let me know. Chusarcik
60 | Thanks your opinion differs from others | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93464
Hank, Thankyou. As you can probably see, I am getting many responses to my question. I'm about half way through them and they all seem to disagree with you, but yours is the only one I've read so far that seems to match with what the scripture is saying. I have many more verses to look up which I will do before I finalize my opinion. Thanks again, Chusarcik |
