34666 | Who's in 1st and 2nd resurrection? | Rev 20:5 | Chusarcik | 73673
In trying to understand Revelation 20:4,which states the "rest of the dead" did not come to life until the thousand year Millenium was ended, I seem to be finding there are differing opinions regarding who the "rest of the dead" are. It seems premillennialists says "the rest of the dead" are all unbelievers. Some other groups seem to think the "rest of the dead" are everyone except those believers who were beheaded during the tribulation. In otherwords, they think both believers and non believers will take part in the gret white throne judgment in Revelation 20:11. At this point I'm confused as to which view point is Biblically correct and would like some opinions backed up by scripture. Thanks,Chusarcik.

34669 | Rapture-what is it? | Rev 20:5 | God's-elect | 186723

34671 | First resurrection happens twice | Rev 20:5 | Ed O. | 239219
During the Great Tribulation souls will be saved but will be beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and who rejected the mark. Rev 20:5b states, "this is the first resurrection." Could this be better understood by saying these are the last group of people who are saved in the first resurrection since many people who died prior to this time would have already been resurrected in the rapture. ( pre-trib) In other words I take this to mean the first resurrection is for the saints, while the second resurrection is for the lost. |

34672 | Revelation Christ's Millenial Reign | Rev 20:6 | samwho315 | 32545
Do the saved souls that have died prior to the Tribulation live with Christ during His Millenial Reign? Do they return with Christ after the Rapture? Or are just the Tribulation Saints (those who refuse to take the mark of the beast or to denounce Jesus as Lord) on earth , remain with Him during the Millenial Reign? Revelations Johanna |

34675 | Why not allow that to begin with? | Rev 20:7 | runningfaith | 46093
Thank you for your input to my last question, Why will Satan be loosed. I know what he will do when he is loosed. But, my question is WHY? After the angel has already bound him. The earth is free of him. What is the purpose of letting him loose in the earth again? Is it because in the MIL.. there will still be the sin nature in man and many will choose to reject Jesus even then? WOW. That seems so far from what my mind can understand. How could someone seeing all that has taken place in the earth by this time, still turn away? It must be out of that group of people that Satan will build his army and rebell one last time? I 'm just trying to understand why he is bound at all only to be let loose again. Thanks for your patience with me on this. I'm really trying to get a answer and I know God has one for me. I'm seeking, so I know I will be given revelation. All imput is greatly appreciated. runningfaith. |

34677 | Ezekiel War and Armegeddon Distinction | Rev 20:7 | jczucker | 177450
I have a prophesy question or two that I need help with: I am trying to distinguish between what happens in the Ezekiel War and what happen at Armageddon, so my questions are as follows: Is 2/3 of Israel wiped out in the Ezekiel War of Gog and Magog or does that happen later at Armageddon? If Israel is reunited with God at the end of the Ezekiel War as scripture says, why would 2/3 be later wiped out at Armageddon, if that is in fact the case, if they now know that the Lord is God and are reunited with Him as it says in Ezekiel 39? When Zechariah speaks of invaders having eye sockets come out of their faces and other types of devastation, it is when the curse is lifted from Israel and Messiah returns where this is spoken of, so I assume this is Armageddon, but Ezekiel too talks of devastation when Magog attacks Israel. I assume these are two different events, but unsure of what type of devastation happens to the enemies of Israel in each case. I have been trying to reconcile the Ezekiel account of Gog and Magog in chapters 38-39 and last chapter of Zechariah when Jesus returns prior to all nations surrounding and coming against Israel. Again, these appear to be two events, but both of talk of Jews accepting God, so why would 2/3 be wiped out in the last days if they were already reunited with God? What happens after the Ezekiel War and prior to Armageddon. I assume the rebuilding of the temple and rapture, and tribulation in whatever order, but I am unclear about how these two events truly play out in prophesy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
