321 | difference in a Christians funeral? | Bible general | justme | 241531
How should a Christians funeral be different to being Glory to the LORD GOD Almighty. I have see a number of funerals that the only difference from a non-Christian was the songs they sang. Have you given instructions the way you want to praise the LORD when you have gone to be with Jesus Christ?

323 | God created man sin-ful? | Bible general | jeremiah1five | 241520
Scripture teaches that there is only One God, that God gives His glory to no one, and there is none like God. I do not believe God can reduplicate Himself in Himself so part of His plan for man is to create heaven, earth, etc. I have come to believe that God created man (Adam) sin-ful, or as the word is defined by Strong's "to miss the mark." What is that "mark?" The glory of God. Adam sinned because he was created a sinner, or sin-ful, as there is only One God. If God is the standard by which everyone and everything is judged, and if Paul is correct that "I had not known sin but by the Law. For I had not known lust except the Law said 'thou shalt not covet." Wouldn't the command to Adam "thou shalt not eat of it [the fruit/tree]" also qualify as a law/command of "thou shalt not" showing that Adam was a sinner? Adam had not known disobedience except the law/command said "thou shalt not eat of it?" Sin comes from sinners, sin does not come from holy, and if man was anything less than holy he would sin. The last Adam proves this? |

324 | Unatoned who die experience a sting/fire | John 20:17 | jeremiah1five | 241513
If one were to experience a sting upon death (1 Cor. 15:56) because of unatoned sin, what would it feel like after the sting is experienced constantly? Would it feel like a flame or fire? Would this correspond to what the rich man experienced being in the grave, as opposed to Lazarus whose sin was atoned by Christ and there was no "sting of death/sin" and when he died experienced comfort of being in the Presence of God? To put it more succinctly, if at the moment of death you feel a sting, brace yourself... You're not in Kansas anymore. |

334 | God never changes then how come Sunday | Bible general | enjoyinglife59 | 241472
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus is the same yesterday(before the cross) today(after the cross and forever. If God never changes then why would God change His 7th day Holy Sabbath worship to Sunday just because Jesus rose from the grave? Jesus was meant to be memorialized in baptism not in a Sunday day of worship. Mark 2:27-28. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath was made for man(not Jews). Why dont people read their bible more often? God created a special day for us and nobody wants to observe it. This does not make sense. Do you want to obey God or man?
