21 | Cities of Judah or Cities of Demons? | Genesis | userdoe215 | 8393
Hank, Nor am I willing or even prepared to post an expansive argument...mostly because I am a TERRIBLE writer. But, alas, contrast is the friend of the illiterate. Having many friends myself who lean toward the tulip filled gardens, I can only agree that there are truely Christians who are also Calvanists! But to the point: finding some the crazy ideas of Benny Hinn just as preposterous as those of the John Calvin, should I follow the conclusion of rejecting those who espouse flower power? Or should I look and see if they preach the gospel of forgiveness and redemption? Just a thought....the last one I have for today as I am quite ready to go home and be with my family! Blessings! |

Thank you Nolan! And if it's taken as an "attack" then I've reached those who need to have their complacency shaken a bit. The road to Jesus is not paved with egg shells. There's not much the bretheran can say to offend me...I love them too much! But I digress... |

Morant seZ: "The problem I have with Benny Hinn is exactly this kind of teaching. There is not a shred of evidence to support what he is saying. But the problem even goes beyond this one issue. His theology is constantly this messed up. I wouldn't trust anything he says on any issue. " I must disagree. Although I don't agree with some of his "theology", he does encourage people to believe God for great things, not to see God as just one who looks on with "compassion". I would feel more comfortable with the Benny Hinn crowd, who sees the Great Lord of the Universe as one who can touch us physically, spiritually, emotionally and familially, than with stodgy Calvanists who portray God as one who picks and chooses and is pretty much done with what He's going to do. |

I cannot imagine anything other than friendship with Mark, for his pennings are those of thoughtful discourse, not senseless caviling. Saga? |

...and in context, Jer. 4:23 was referring to judgement on Judah. Just an FYI.

Um, no. This is that old pre-adamic race theory rehashed and unfounded in the scriptures. This theory roamed the hills of the theological landscape several decades ago.
