21 | Noah took 7 clean but only 2 unclean ? | Gen 9:3 | swerv | 155016
Doc: I respect you have a different set of Christian beliefs. If you want to discuss the differences and show me where there is biblical support for eternal Hell (place of torment to non-believers), or support for an immediate immortal soul upon death (either in Hell or Heaven), or support for the 1st day being made Holy, or support for a 7 year tribulation period, or support or eating unclean meat -------- then I will be happy to discuss them sharing clear and concise biblical verse to support my understanding of truth in these areas. If you wish not too then I would advise you to respond to other comments or questions. Look forward to honest discussion or I wish you all the best and pray you have confidence in you understanding of truth, Swerv |

22 | Noah took 7 clean but only 2 unclean ? | Gen 9:3 | swerv | 155012
Glad to here that. I believe clean and unclean is ignored by the Church today. But there is really no good reason for it. Health and science is proving the diet of God to be correct and best for our health. Please let me know what you think of the Sabbath issue - as far as it being Saturday or Sunday or does it really matter. I believe the 10 commandments were wrote on stone for a very good reason. They were meant to show they are permanent. Actually I believe the 10 commandment moral principles have existed since creation until our modern era. If God made the 7th day to be Holy - why would it be changed. All the best, Swerv |

23 | Noah took 7 clean but only 2 unclean ? | Gen 9:3 | swerv | 153779
Well Hank: You have the right to not respond to my questions or notes. But from looking at the guidelines I think sharing truth and knowledge is the goal of the forum. I look forward to "reasoning" what that truth is from the scriptures. But you should look at the guidelines where we are to be respectful ! Searching for truth, Swerv |

Doc: Thanks - I appreciate this helpful information and look forward to reasoning the scriptures with you. Swerv |

25 | Noah took 7 clean but only 2 unclean ? | Gen 9:3 | swerv | 153742
ok - let me know if I can help in your "reasoning" Food for thought - I do not believe the NT has any scriptures that contradict the OT regarding following God's laws about not eating unclean animal meat. Scriptures that are used - in my opinion - are taken clearly out of context. Look forward to more discussions, Swerv |

27 | Why 10 Commandments put inside the Ark ? | Deut 31:26 | swerv | 153690
Ok - Sorry for not citing the scripture but you now have it - Deut. 31:26. So is there a reason - in your opinion for the separation of the 10 command. and the mosaic/sacrificial law ? In love and truth, Swerv |

28 | Noah took 7 clean but only 2 unclean ? | Gen 9:3 | swerv | 153689
Right - I agree. Do you think them these unclean and clean laws regarding the meat we eat are still binding on NT Christians. I believe God is unchanging and "if" we do eat meat we should be aware of God's commands - in what he considers clean meat so that we do not defile our bodies. In love, Swerv |

35 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153623
Ok we agree ! So do you think keeping Sunday is doing right or wrong according to the 4th commandment. The Sabbath is the 7th day (Saturday). It is historical that Sunday worship has its origins in paganism. Although, the NT arguement is that it is Christ's resurection day - which all do agree - I see no instruction or new command to keep a different day other than the original day which was sanctified and made holy by God. This day was made for the purposes of resting and therefore we would have the time to spend it worshiping God. What is your view ? In love, Swerv |

36 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153622
Yes - faith in God means we trust Him. But when God says not to do something - it is a command to test our obedience. Just like when the Moses led the people out of Edgypt - the very first thing God did was to "test" them if they would keep His Sabbath. Since sin entered the universe through Satan - God must test our faithfulness by His laws. God loves all people but only our love and obedience will show God we do not choose sin but rather His love. 37 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153621
Hi Beseder: I am looking for input on the word "law". Since you quote the psalmist "His law is (still) my delight". Would you agree then that the 10 commandment law is still as binding now as it was for the Jewish people of the OT. Unfortunately - some people want to classify "keeping the law" as "works-based stuff". The reason - I believe - this happens - is because our tendancy is to not want to follow God's commands !! This goes right back to the rebellion in the Garden of Eden. I believe man has fallen away from God's law. Daniel 7:25 talks about the antichrist system wanting to change God's laws. The Sabbath was changed from the 7th day to the 6th day. But the problem is that God only sanctified one day which is the 7th day. What are your views on these matters. In love, Swerv |

38 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153620
Yes I agree !! The next question that follows - is what are the laws that NT Christians are required to obey. You said it was "never a test of obedience". But you say it was a commandment. Does not these two things go hand in hand. You said "no matter what we are suppose to always obey God". I think we agree that God wants our love and the laws He puts in place are for our benefit - so to show our love for God we should keep his commands. I think you would agree but you can let me know. I believe - after careful study of many views - that we are required to follow all of God's laws and the main foundation of all of God's law is the 10 commandments. This brings us to the tough question then -- why do we not keep the 7th day Sabbath ? In love, Swerv |

39 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153619
Hi Doc: Thanks for the website !! But clearly I am not just addressing yourself or Hank with these questions - unless you both feel you are the only ones on this forum willing to respond to my questions and notes. There are plenty of responses which I would like to get to - instead of always having to respond to your negative comments. AGAIN - you do not have to respond to my notes or questions. Do I have to keep repeating this over and over. Swerv |

40 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153618
I agree - thanks for the response ! The result of there choice not to obey God resulted in the punishment of death. The only way we then can have eternity is to repent and show God we are willing to obey out of love and not "legalism". God's law are a blessing to us and not a curse. Keeping His law reveals our love and loyalty to God. There was a definite reason why the 10 commandments were placed inside the ark and not outside like the handwritten laws of Moses. In love, Swerv |
