24 | why only one angel help in Daniel 10 | Dan 10:21 | johnpastors | 164537
I am not sure, but the angel sias that he was withstood a total of 21 days, or three weeks; the same amount of time that Daniel was fasting. Maybe Michael was the only one strong enough to help him, in the battle for Daniel. It sais that Daniel understood something, and directly after, this angel was sent to speak, but was hindered. I am not sure. The Grace of the Lord Be With You!!! |

25 | Difference b/w pleasing God vs man | Matt 6:1 | johnpastors | 164289
I just want to encourage you with the Word of the Lord. The Bible sais, (Ephesians 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. It is not the flesh you are fighting, but the Devil. The Bible tells us that God gave us the power to fights against anything that brings itself against the authority of God.In 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, the Bible sais, (3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. In the Name of Jesus Christ, PULL DOWN THE STRONGHOLD! Just say, "IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I COMMAND YOU TO LEAVE ME, AND I COMMAND YOU TO STOP GIVING ME PROUD THOUGHTS. I AM A CHILD OF GOD, AND I AM SUBMITTING TO HIM!!! The Bible sais, "submit to God, resist the Devil, and he will flee from you"(James 4:7) I believe that it is good that you are willing to do such a good thing for another person. If you are willing to donate part of your body so that someone else might live, The Lord bless you! Any way, that is what Jesus did! I am praying for you! May the Grace of the Lord be with You. |

28 | A Thought-provoking question | Bible general Archive 3 | johnpastors | 164127
He most definately is. He sais: "Be Holy, for I AM Holy",(1 Peter 1:16). If you deny this, you are calling God a liar to His Face. You are guilty of blasphemy, in essence. The previous answerer said that the "only sin He ever committed was on the cross". That is not true becuase God TOOK the sins of the world onto Himself, He did not commit them. To answer the question, God killed many people in the Old and some in the New Testament because He is a just God. We love hearing how loving God is, and that is true, but we must understand that God is also just and righteous. Also, He did it to further His plan, to bring His people into the promised land. This would ultimately lead to the birth of the Messiah. It is true that He is perfect in His Will, and he does whatever He pleases. Check it out at Romans 9:13-24. That is the complete, and real answer!!! The Grace of the Lord Be With You.
