25 | Are the ten commandments abolished? | Bible general Archive 4 | jlpangilinan | 235724
For Christians we are not justified by the law of Moses... Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. although Christ said: Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. the question is... Did Christ follow the law of Moses the way Jewish did? for example the Sabbath Mt 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. Moses taught the people of Israel not to go out on Sabbath day.. Jer 17:22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. Maybe Christ would like to gave us example how to follow the law... we can think about it... |

Amen. 1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 1Pe 3:21 ¶ The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: |

30 | How can you tell if someone is truly "an | John 15:8 | jlpangilinan | 193870
Some of the example of how Jesus tell his desciple of how to be his desciples... Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Joh 15:9 ¶ As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Joh 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Joh 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Joh 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Joh 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another. Now how do we know that a pastors, ministers are truly the anoited one? simple, if he follow the teaching of Jesus Christ completely. Did he really divided the word of truth or not? did he live with the word of God or teach different from his doing. Isa 56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. I hope it would helps. God bless, |

34 | Horus and Mother Isis | Song of Solomon | jlpangilinan | 193864
We are not saying that Jesus Christ was born December 25. History tells us that during the birth of Jesus there are country shepherds abiding in the field and keep watch over thier flocks by night. Lu 2:8 ¶ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Lu 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. all we all knew that december 25 in bethlehem is very cold, icy or snowy. So if you are the sheppered of those flocks you will not going out with you flocks with that kind of wheather, aside from that sheep are not ice eater (joke) In catholic encyclopedia volume 2 it was recoreded that in the first 330 years of christianism birth of Chirst was celebration was on january 6 (three kings as of today) December 25 indeed was the same date of the fest pagan God of Rome "Satur" or saturnilla "god of sun" there are denomination celebrates Christmas on December 25, there are also that do not. although we can celebrate the Christmas everyday in our hearts, by serving God, nieghboors, and human beings. I hope it would helps. God bless, |

37 | But what makes them the same creation? | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 182193
Genesis Chapter 1 explain the whole creation, from heavens, earth, plants, animal, etc. etc. meaning its explain the whole creation. In. Gen Chapter2, Moses wrote specify on how God created them, for example what is the process when God created "man" or adam. if we consider in chapter one,it was mentioned the man created (male and female) Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. while in Chapter 2 explain on how God created them in His own images, its explain the process of how God created man, (male and female) Ge 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Ge 2:21 ¶ And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Ge 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Ge 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. If moses did not explain in Chapter 2 the process of creation of man, we all have no idea that the female is not created directly from the dust but it was taken from the rib of adam... it is talking the same creation, the only difference is that account in Gen. Chapter 1 is talking the creation of man while chapter 2 is talking the process of how God created them God bless, |

38 | Men had multiple wives in the old test. | Matt 19:5 | jlpangilinan | 182192
Correct me if I am wrong... God gave this commandments even in the time of Adam and Eve. Ge 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. I think in that verse above, God mentioned the man and wife "shall be one flesh" therefore, I dont think that one man with 4 or 7 wives are also "one flesh". I dont think also that it is okay for God, let us consult what was Jesus Christ told us about them... Mt 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, in the verses above, it is clear that even in the beggining God is against having many wives... Mt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. if the man and wife will become one flesh it is really for two person man and wife not man and wives... the scribes so and so reasoning Jesus with this... Mt 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? Jesus answered them with this... Mt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. "in the beggining it was not so" Jesus said. in the beggining there was no divorce, nor having many wives, it is because of the hardness of the heart of israelites, moses had to make laws about it. Hope I understand you well, thanks |

39 | Christians with demon oppression | Bible general Archive 3 | jlpangilinan | 166530
Sometimes not all of those pray or call in Jesus name was granted. Ac 19:13 ¶ Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. Ac 19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. Ac 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? Ac 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Even the desciples sometimes could not cast them out because of thier unbelief. Mt 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. I am not saying that your friend has the same unbelief, I just show some example that evil really is not easy enemy and we need faith to defeated them. I maybe not answered your questioned correctly or directly, but as I said I show some example about demons. It is better to asked help to those people you know that had faith in Christ, a pastor, deacons or the likes, to pray over your friend, I know and I believed that "In Jesus Name" your friend will be free against that demons you said. God bless, |

40 | who is Theophilus? | Acts 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 166529
Easton Bible Dictionary Entry on Theophilus lover of God, a Christian, probably a Roman, to whom Luke dedicated both his Gospel (Lu 1:3) and the Acts of the Apostles (Ac 1:1). Nothing beyond this is known of him. From the fact that Luke applies to him the title "most excellent", the same title Paul uses in addressing Felix (Ac 23:26; 24:3) and Festus (Ac 26:25), it has been concluded that Theophilus was a person of rank, perhaps a Roman officer. Hope it would help, God bless |
