21 | Was Jesus ONLY son or daughter of Mary? | Bible general Archive 1 | JMR | 11538
Did Jesus Christ have any blood brothers or sisters? In other words, did Mary (Jesus' mom) give birth to anyone else besides Jesus? Please cite reference(s) with your response. Thank you.

Interesting answers considering that no "Christian" church allowed the use of contraception until 1929. The Bible does not mention contraception so we must turn to the Church for guidance. Personally, I don't believe churches that allow contraception are guided by the Holy Spirit. Just my opinion ladies and gentlemen.
23 | Marriage to a Catholic? | Bible general Archive 1 | JMR | 21699
What's the best advice you can give someome (a Christian) who is goint to marry a Catholic? Is it wrong to marry in the Catholic Church? Should the marriage be in a "Protestant" church? What other things need to be considered under these circumstances? Thank you in advance for your advice and input. Blessings!
24 | Marriage to a Catholic? | Bible general Archive 1 | JMR | 21708
Thanks for your response Sir Pent. I am not in the planning stages yet. We are not even engaged yet. I am just mastering the possibilities, if you will. I will say, however, that because of our love for one another, we do plan on getting married much sooner now (between 1.5 to 2.5 years). We are starting to get things in order for our union.
25 | Marriage to a Catholic? | Bible general Archive 1 | JMR | 21712
Thanks Hank! I do believe Catholics are Christians. I would like more info on your daughter's experience. Where did she marry? Where do they go to church now? Are they blending the religions or have they adopted just one of them as part of their marriage? Has it been a struggle for them? I could be making a bigger deal about this than I should, however, I just wanted to turn to this forum for all of your thoughts and opinions. Thanks again everyone.

Can't you read English? One member is a Catholic, the other a Non-Catholic (Protestant), both Christians. Are you trying to say that Catholics or Protestants, are unbelievers? Or that one of them is unrighteousness? Or that one of them is darkness? Just what exactly is your point?

Dear CDBJ: I apologize from the bottom of my heart for my rude comment. I meant no harm by it. Please forgive me. I am an unpatient person and I pray that God guide me to become more Christ-like everyday. Thanks for your comments and may God bless you richly. -JMR |

29 | Did God want us to have borders? | OT general | JMR | 172
Did God want borders to exist between His people? I get the feeling that He did with His actions at The Tower of Babel.
30 | Did God want borders to exist? | OT general | JMR | 180
I think you misunderstood my question as it was not answered to my satisfaction. Thanks anyways.
31 | Rebaptism Okay? | NT general Archive 1 | JMR | 18817
Is it okay to be baptized, by water, more than once? I have a friend who is going to get baptized for the second time, the first time happened when she was around 7 years old. Now at 23, she wants to do it again. What does the Bible say about this?
32 | What are the Nephilim? | Gen 6:4 | JMR | 560
What exactly are the Nephilim? They are only mentioned twice in the Bible (Genesis 6:4 and Numbers 13:33). I think that they are Angels, but am not sure. Any other explanation?
33 | Must Christians keep the Sabbath today? | Ex 20:8 | JMR | 227
See Luke 6:1-11. Yes, Jesus insisted that some principles take precedence over others. Doing good on the Sabbath did not offend God nor did it violate the spitit of the law.
34 | Explanation of Ezekiel's prophesy? | Ezekiel | JMR | 364
Yes, many believe that is what will happen. However, there is no way of proving it until it happens. Just like nobody knows when Christ will come again.
35 | Are all Christians going to heaven? | Matt 7:21 | JMR | 10603
Good question. I am of the belief that it is truly a mystery whether one goes to Heaven or not. After all, only God can and will judge, and only He knows our heart.
36 | IS PETER | Matt 16:18 | JMR | 716
Yes. In Matt 16:19, Peter was given the keys (the authority to open the doors to Christendom). He used this authority for Jews on the Day of the Pentecost and for Gentiles in the house of Cornelius (Acts 10). The church began on the day of the Pentecost (Acts 2). When Christ said, "I will build...", this shows that the formation of the church was still in the future. The word church appears in the Gospels only here and in Matt 18:17.
37 | Please expand on your comment. | Matt 16:18 | JMR | 904
I don't think I understand your answer or comment elbib. Would you please expand on it. Thanks.
38 | Protestantism challenged? | Matt 18:17 | JMR | 3064
In my opinion, this challenges Protestantism. Can anyone give me some insight into this verse? I am confused right now. Thanks.
39 | Can a priest forgive sins? | John 20:23 | JMR | 7538
In John 20:21-23, it appears to me that Jesus gave the authority to forgive sins to men acting in His name. Also, in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, it appears that this refers to the forgiveness of sins granted by Christ thru his ministers. St. Peter received from Christ this binding and loosing authority separately from and before the other disciples (see Matt 16:18,19 and Matt 18:18). |

40 | Is sex between singles a sin? | 1 Corinthians | JMR | 17498
This might sound like an easy question to answer, but I'm confused. I am a single male (never been married) dating a single female (never been married). Would having sex be a sin? The Ten Commandments don't address this issue (see Exodus 20:3-17) nor is it addressed in the two commandments on which the whole Law and the Prophets depend on (see Matt 22:36-40).
