Dear angel1, You state,"regarding witchcraft. I think you are ensnared by it's beliefs." Please tell me where do you come up with this? Also you stated,"You are assuming that because a belief is ancient it is correct". Please support this too. Where did I assume or support, with my own words, in this thread that which I am accused of? Bless you, Love Fountain Matt 7:1-2 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Dear jmscott2, I agree and goodnight to you. Bless you, Love Fountain Acts 2:22-24 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. Dear jmscott2, Gen 13:14-17 14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. KJV Crucifix, Cross General Information The cross is among the oldest and most universal symbols. In preliterate societies it often represented a conjunction of dualities. The horizontal arm was associated with the terrestrial, worldly, feminine, temporal, destructive, and negative, passive, and death, while the vertical arm connoted the celestial, spiritual, masculine, eternal, creative, positive, active, and life. Often symbolic of the four astrological elements of earth, water, fire, and air, a cross was also perceived as the cosmic axis from which radiated the spatial dimensions of height, length, width, and breadth, as well as the directions of north, east, south, and west. The ankh (crux ansata) was an ancient Egyptian T - shaped cross surmounted with a loop. It symbolized the creative energies of the male and female and the essence of life. The simple T - shaped cross is named for the Greek letter tau. It is often referred to as the Old Testament cross because Moses supposedly placed a brazen serpent on a T cross (Num. 21:6 - 9), and according to legend, the Israelites on Passover eve marked their doors with blood - drawn tau crosses to identify themselves as Yahweh's followers. Another name for the T cross is the crux commissa. read the rest on the crucifix/cross at http://www.mb-soft.com/believe/txn/cross.htm Matt 16:24 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Dear jmscott, Please reread what I copied and pasted from another website. The point of the appendix was the shape of the cross which is clearly stated at the end of the appendix which can be read at the website I found this at. Did you go to the website and read the rest of the appendix? Bless you, Love Fountain John 19:16-17 16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: KJV |

Dear EdB, Col 3:12-17 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. KJV Bless you, Love Fountain |

Dear EdB, Please reread what I copied and pasted from another web site again. The words are not mine nor have I taken any position but merely shared something I thought to be of interest regarding the shape of the cross. I see no need for hostility or put downs in any discussion of the Bible and I wish others would do the same so that we can all learn and grow in unity of Christ. Did you go to the website I listed and read the rest of the appendix? I am sorry I could not list the whole apendix in one post for you but I am limited to 5000 characters for some reason. Bless you, Love Fountain Heb 12:1-2 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Dear ck1, You state," I will become fully Armed as He would have me with no insecurity. I do believe. I am seeking, knocking, and ready to receive." Once you become fully armed with the Word in your heart and mind, you will find the following as a description of how we are to be in the following verses, Col 3:12-17 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. KJV Bless you, Love Fountain Eph 6:14-17 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: KJV |

Dear ck1, My sincerest wishes of comfort and blessing go to you and your family! You have some very deep questions that I believe can only be answered by the Word of our Father. We do need each other for fellowship, comfort, support and guidance among many other things, but ultimately your answers are in the Bible. If you don't understand at first it is ok, just keep reading and don't give up and watch the Scripture open up for you. If you have one specific question at a time, I will do my best to answer with Scripture if you'd like. Bless you from my heart, Love Fountain Matt 7:7-8 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Bless you, Love Fountain Prov 8:8-11 8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. 9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Bless you, Love Fountain 2 Cor 1:12-14 12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus. Dear Scribe, 2 Peter 3:7-10 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. KJV Within context from my perspective, the above verses are clearly pointing to the day of judgement and judgement is layed out as an appointed time at which God is longsuffering towards from the beginning to the end, wanting all to come to repentance. Regarding Psalm 90:4, a thousand years in thy(mans) sight are but as yesterday sure sounds like 1 day is a thousand years to me, because yesterday was only a day away and yet it was a thousand years. I am noone and a sinner on top of that maybe this is why I see differently? I do not see this as a new way of calculating time, I see the Holy Spirit giving a witness to another understanding of 1000 years to man is 1 day with God and confirming the appointed time of this earth age, from Adam's birth to the end of the millenium as I have stated to CDBJ. Bless you, Love Fountain 2 Peter 3:13-18 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. KJV |

Dear CDBJ, Thank you for your honest opinion. You state,"I believe that the Bible should be interpreted at face value and that we should try to understand what the author is trying to convey." If we interpret at face value the following, Luke 14:26 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. KJV At a face value understanding of the above verse one might think Jesus is saying you cannot be my disciple unless you hate yourself and everyone you know. This of course is not the understanding implied by Jesus but could be misconstrued if accepted at face value. Bless you, Love Fountain Rom 11:33 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! KJV |

35 | Do we read the same Bible? | Mark 4:13 | Love Fountain | 39501
Dear EdB, Yes! Thank you! You state,"People have got to start reading the Bible and stop listening to every wind of doctrine." A friend of mine brought up a very good point recently. He said,"people read every book cover to cover, beginning to end, chapter by chapter, every book except one.........the Bible." Is it not true, that the only book in the World that will help people, they choose not to read and if they do read they don't read it all the way through. Everyone's answers are awaiting them in the letter written to them from their Father. Remember how many time Jesus said,"haven't you read?" Bless you, Love Fountain Prov 8:32-35 32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. 37 | 1 day is 1000 years, why? | 2 Pet 3:8 | Love Fountain | 39499
Dear CDBJ, The question I asked you was,"Do you see God's statement that 1000 years to us is as 1 day to God having any reference to time as we know it in referrence to the length of this earth age?" I was asking in regards to the beginning, middle and end which I see as the length of this earth age. My reason for this question has come from the 1 day with God as 1000 years to man referrence which I find myself asking for wisdom and understanding. Recently when reading John 11 about the resurrection of Lazarus, I believe the Holy Spirit gave me a witness to the length of this earth age and how 1000 years to man is 1 day with God. In John 11:17 Jesus comes to Lazarus who has been dead 4 days. I believe these four days are symbolical for the 4000 years that mankind was dead in their sins prior to the birth of Jesus. In John 11:6 Jesus stayed and waited 2 days before going to raise Lazarus from the dead. I believe those 2 days to be symbolical of the 2000 years between Jesus' first and second visit amongst us. Then you have the day that Jesus resurrects Lazarus from the dead, which I believe is symbolic of the 1000 year millenial reign in which we will see the resurrection of the people in Christ and the end of this earth age at the end of the millenium. This is the reason for my question of this earth age being 7 days long to God which is 7000 years to man. What do you think? Bless you, Love Fountain |

Dear EdB, Thank you for the response. I am not sure why seven is God's perfect number, if I had to pick a perfect number, I would pick ten for the ten commandments. Anyway, you state,"Which tells me the Rapture, the Tribulation and the Second Coming can happen at any moment." EdB, I have never read anything in the Bible to happen at any moment, have you? If yes, please give one Scripture to support this anytime doctrine? It is true that no man knows the time or date of the harvest however we do know the season and the signs which have been laid out in Matt 24 amongst other places in Scripture. I agree with you we do appear to be on the brink of the season of the locusts. According to God it has been approximately 6 days since the birth of Adam and we are seeing the signs of Matt 24 before our very eyes which preceeds the return of Christ for the 1000 year(1 day) millenial reign which upon completion of the millenium do we see the end of this earth age appointed at 7 days? Bless you, Love Fountain |

Dear EdB, I have always believed man has been given freewill to make a choice within an appointed time, to choose to follow God or follow satan. Would you agree that it has been approximately 6000 years since the birth of Adam? Would you also agree that it has been approximately 2000 years since the birth of Jesus? Bless you, Love Fountain |

40 | 1 day is 1000 years, why? | 2 Pet 3:8 | Love Fountain | 39476
Dear CDBJ, While it is true that God is not constrained by time, is it not also true that God utilizes time according to His purpose to fulfill Scripture? Thereby time is necessary to complete His divine purpose of separating the wheat from the tares which is set to an appointed time which He calls the harvest in Matt 13. Is not the harvest set for an appointed time? Why is it absolute that God has not given us an idea of the length of this earth age? Bless you, Love Fountain |
