21 | Biblical basis for office of Deaconess? | Bible general Archive 4 | Jasper72 | 238413
I'm not sure what is meant by the Note of acts 2:17 but if you have studied Christ's New testament you will have learned that this verse refers to the day the Day of Pentacost when the Apostles ONLY were given the power of the Spirit and the remaining day of their lives when they were allowed to pass this power to other people but when the apostles had all died this power to mankind no longer existed. 1 Corinthians 13:8 ¶Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. Christ said "Many are called but FEW be chosen" so 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Don't take my word for it LEARN Christ's WORD. |

We have no qualifications in Christ's New Testament for deaconesses. Revelations 22:18-19. |

23 | Doctrines! Doctrines! Doctrines! | 1 Tim 6:1 | Jasper72 | 238378
We should only have ONE doctrine which is in Christ's New Testament, if we have another we are adding to or taking away from Christ's Word and are guilty of Revelation 22:18-19 and in danger of losing our soul. 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. There are several other scriptures concerning doctrine. We should worship GOD as HE wants to be worshiped. Ecclesiastes 12:13 ¶Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear ( Have Deep Respect For) God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. |

24 | Biblical basis for office of Deaconess? | Bible general Archive 4 | Jasper72 | 238377
I find now where in Christ's New Testament where a woman is authorized to be a Preacher, Elder (Paster) or a deacon, Christ said, 1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man ( Which means Publicly because we have examples of teaching unlearned men in private), but to be in silence and also Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Which most are guilty of. Ignorance of God's Word is no excuse. |

25 | Holy Spirit - Tribulation | Bible general Archive 4 | Jasper72 | 238342
I firmly believe that if you study All the verses in Christ's New Testament you can understand that the tribulation Christ is talking about is what happened during the distruction of Jerusalem and when Christ died on the cross and the terrible things that happened to Christians in the beginning years of Christ's church. ( Read Josephus). There are many scriptures concerning the judgement day but none concerning an ending called a tribulation or rapture. Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: |

26 | did Jesus preach in hell | 1 Pet 1:11 | Jasper72 | 238338
If Christ said this, Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Why would He preach in HELL? |

27 | Where is hell? | Rev 22:15 | Jasper72 | 237691
Since most of Revalation is a cymbolic vision, Revelation 1:1 ¶The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: signified meaning a sign of something not the actual meaning. There are many scripture that speak of Hell and Luke 16:19 speaks of Hades the pre judgement place for those going to Hell. Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. why would Christ say, Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. |

28 | Who is in heaven with Jesus right now? | Rev 7:9 | Jasper72 | 237149
As Christ has said, these things which must shortly come to pass, they haven't happened yet Revelation 1:1 ¶The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Signified (signal)something (as a sound, gesture, or object) that conveys notice or warning |
