For the prophecy came not in old times by the will of man: but Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." 2 Timothy 3:16,17 says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." THE BIBLE IS SUPERIOR TO OTHER BOOKS in its origin, formation, doctrines, principles, claims, moral tone, histories, prophecies, revelations, literature, present redemption and eternal benefits, and its general contents. IT’S INFLUENCE IN THE WORLD: It has blessed millions in every generation, made the highest civilizations, and given man the highest hope and destiny. THE CHARACTER OF THOSE WHO ACCEPT IT: The wisest, most godly, and honest of men acknowledge it as God’s Word. ONLY INFIDELS, and the ungodly reject it. MAN COULD NOT HAVE WRITTEN the Bible if he would, and would not have written it if he could. No critic of scripture has ever been able to improve or disprove it. GOOD MEN MUST HAVE WRITTEN IT. It condemns all sin and records the sins and faults of its writers as well as others. ALL MAN’S PRESENT AND ETERNAL NEEDS ARE MET BY THE BIBLE. Redemption and promised benefits have been given to all generations and this will always be so. SECULAR HISTORY: Many pagans as well as Jewish and Christian writers confirm the facts of the Bible, quoting it as being genuine, authentic and inspired of God. FAITH IN GOD’S WORD will transform your life: His Word will give you the keys to success and happiness. God’s Word is life changing and will penetrate the hardest of hearts, making a man a totally new person (2 Corinthians 5:l7). OUR NATION IS GREAT because of the profound faith of our forefathers in Almighty God. HERE ARE A FEW OF THEIR COMMENTS: GEORGE WASHINGTON: "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible." ABRAHAM LINCOLN: "I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated to us through this book." DOUGLAS MCARTHUR: "Believe me sir, never a night goes by, be I ever so tired, but I read the Word of God before I go to bed." WARNING: The book is habit forming, regular use causes loss off anxiety, decreased appetite for lying, cheating, stealing, hating. SYMPTOMS: Increased sensations of love, joy, peace and compassion. I CHALLENGE YOU to read: John 3:16, Romans 3:23, 6:23; 10:9,10; 1 John 1:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17 then ask Jesus Christ to come into your life to be YOUR Lord and Savior. Your life will be completely changed. * Some quotes above were from Dakes Annotated Bible. ----This was found at http://www.amazinggrace.com/*** Should I keep going? **** Go to GOOGLE and search "infallible word of God" and other similar searches and you will find tons of material related to your question. |

John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible**** http://www.gospelcom.net/eword/comments/luke/gill/luke14.htm ***** Verse 26. If any man come to me,.... Not in a corporeal, but in a spiritual way; nor barely to hear him preach; but so come, as that he believes in him, applies to him for grace, pardon, righteousness, life, and salvation; professes to be his, submits to his ordinances, and desires to be a disciple of his; and hate not his father and mother, and wife and children, and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple: not that proper hatred of any, or all of these, is enjoined by Christ; for this would be contrary to the laws of God, to the first principles of nature, to all humanity, to the light of nature, to reason and divine revelation: but that these are not to be preferred to Christ, or loved more than he, as it is explained in Matthew 10:37 yea, these are to be neglected and forsaken, and turned from with indignation and resentment, when they stand in the way of the honour and interest of Christ, and dissuade from his service: such who would be accounted the disciples of Christ, should be ready to part with their dearest relations and friends, with the greatest enjoyment of life, and with life itself, when Christ calls for it; or otherwise they are not worthy to be called his disciples. The Ethiopic version inserts, "his house," into the account. |

John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible**** http://www.gospelcom.net/eword/comments/luke/gill/luke12.htm****** Verse 32. Fear not little flock,.... these words are particularly directed to the immediate apostles and disciples of Christ; but are true of all the saints in all ages of time, who are compared to a "flock of sheep," being separated from the rest of the world in election, redemption, and the effectual calling, and being folded together in a Gospel church state; and also for their patience, meekness, humility, and harmlessness: these are a "little" flock; few in number, when compared with the wicked of the world; and mean and despicable in the account of men; and little in their own eyes: these are subject to many "fears"; some relate to their outward state, and condition, as that they shall want food and raiment, and not have the necessaries of life; which seems to be in the first place here intended, as appears from the context: and some regard their spiritual and eternal estate, as lest they should have no interest in the love of God, and in the covenant, in the blessings and promises of his grace; lest they should not belong to Christ; or the good work of grace should not be begun in them; or that they should not persevere to the end, and should at last miscarry of eternal life and happiness: and these fears arise from a body of sin, from the temptations of Satan, the hidings of God's face, and the prevalence of unbelief; for they have no true reason for them: God is on their side, and will not leave, nor forsake them, nor shall they want any good thing Christ is their shepherd, and he has bought them, with his own blood, and will lose none of them; and therefore they need not fear being taken care of both in soul and body, for time and eternity: and especially when what follows is considered, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom; not only the Gospel, and the knowledge of the mysteries of it; nor the Gospel church state, and a right to all its ordinances; nor only the kingdom of grace, which cannot be moved; but the kingdom of glory: and which is a gift unto them, not obtained by any deserts or works of theirs; nor is their right unto, and enjoyment of it depending upon any such thing: and it their Father's gift, who is so by adopting grace, and through Christ Jesus their Lord; and which he gives according to his sovereign will and pleasure, and with a good will, delighting in them, and rejoicing over them to do them good, both here and hereafter: so that they may depend upon every good thing needful for them both in this world, and in the world to come; nor should they indulge anxious cares, or slavish fears |

Yet the battle of ethnic hate and violence remains one of the burning issues of our time. Billions of dollars are spent fighting it. Oprah devotes entire programs to it. Presidents consult civic and religious leaders; everyone seems to be wrestling with the problems of racial prejudice, yet solutions evade us. But what does "race" really mean? Are there really multiple races of humans, and where did this concept originate? The Bible says in Acts 17:26 that God has "made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth." So, is there really such a thing as "the white race', or "the black race"? You will be astounded at the easy-to-understand scientific facts, and how they line up with the often-overlooked simplicity of God's Word. In this ground-breaking book, you will read, perhaps for the first time, about racism's evolutionary connections, and the powerful answer from Genesis. For a real solution to ethnic hatred, read this copy of One Blood. You'll see this explosive debate in a whole new, startling light.***** http://www.christiananswers.net/catalog/bk-oneblood.html |

28 | Marriage Supper of Lamb participants? | Rev 19:9 | Jeshuafreak | 52899
The marriage supper, as far as i understand it, is the event during the last 7 years of natural history. Christ's Church, the Bride of Christ, Jesus being the Bride Groom, will have removed Hid Bride from the last 7 years. By harpazo, rapture, meaning they will be snatched up to meet with Him. Whether this bodily or spiritually is debated amongst evangelicals. The Bible does talk about two working in a field and one will be taken or two grinding at a mill and one will be taken, commonly refered to as the harpazo, or rapture. During the7 years of God's Spirit not being on the earth nor God's people, there will be extreme chaos and people will jump to all sorts of fanciful conclusions as to where all the Christian's went. ***www.mooreonlife.com*** click listen online....pick LifeAudio.com......then go to 9th page of archive and pick Game Plan For the Tribulation...once you are there scroll down and Click on the link for Living In the Light of Christ's Return*** Sorry so complicated ** It wouldn't let me give a direct link because of some of the characters in the URL**** Dave Moore from Moore on Life did an entire series on this Subject.***Living in the Light of Christ's Return (March 13-27)**listen to the series and a light will be shed on quite a few of your questions concerning the last days, which we are in of course, and on heaven, the 1000 year reign of Christ and much more....The Supper of the Lamb is the wedding reception which lasts for 7 years...can you imagine? 30 | Is premarital sex a sin? | 1 Corinthians | Jeshuafreak | 52859
sex was designed for marriage. The Bible condemns not only adultery, but premarital sex, or fornication (Mk 7:21; Eph 5:5; Heb 13:4). The wisdom of our Christian tradition teaches us that only the complete commitment to one another that comes with marriage is the proper setting for sexual intimacy. Marriage is much more than just "a piece of paper." It is only in marriage that we publicly give ourselves to each other, belong to each other, become responsible for one another, "in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health," all the days of our lives******** http://www.brasstacks.org/premarital-sex/tant.htm (here is what I found for you.) "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (I Corinthians 6:18). |

Verse 28. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead,.... Either with their nails, tearing their cheeks and other parts, or with any instrument, knife, razor,. Jarchi says, it was the custom of the Amorites, when anyone died, to cut their flesh, as it was of the Scythians, as Herodotus relates, even those of the royal family; for a king they cut off a part of the ear, shaved the hair round about, cut the arms about, wounded the forehead and nose, and transfixed the left hand with arrows; and so the Carthaginians, who might receive it from the Phoenicians, being a colony of theirs, used to tear their hair and mouths in mourning, and beat their breasts ; and with the Romans the women used to tear their cheeks in such a manner that it was forbid by the law of the twelve tables, which some have thought was taken from hence: and all this was done to appease the infernal deities, and to give them satisfaction for the deceased, and to make them propitious to them, as Varro affirms; and here it is said to be made "for the soul," for the soul of the departed, to the honour of it, and for its good, though the word is often used for a dead body: now, according to the Jewish canons , whosoever made but one cutting for a dead person was guilty, and to be scourged; and he that made one for five dead men, or five cuttings for one dead man, was obliged to scourging for everyone of them: nor print any marks upon you; Aben Ezra observes, there are some that say this is in connection with the preceding clause, for there were who marked their bodies with a known figure, by burning, for the dead; and he adds, and there are to this day such, who are marked in their youth in their faces, that they may be known; these prints or marks were made with ink or black lead, or, however, the incisions in the flesh were filled up therewith; but this was usually done as an idolatrous practice; so says Ben Gersom, this was the custom of the Gentiles in ancient times, to imprint upon themselves the mark of an idol, to show that they were his servants; and the law cautions from doing this, as he adds, to the exalted name (the name of God): in the Misnah it is said , a man is not guilty unless he writes the name, as it is said, Leviticus 19:28; which the Talmudists and the commentators interpret of the name of an idol, and not of God: |

Justme- Yes my friend, I too got saved after a life of blatant sin, which I did not know was sin. I read my Bible so much and highlighted practically the entire New Testament..haha. It has been about 4 years now and I realize that this is always up hill, always against the stream of socity and always against our natural tendencies, which is to sin. Only by the Spirit of God can we even begin this journey and only by His Spirit can we continue in it. We don't need to know everything. God will reveal His Word to us and make it plain at that moment we need it. All we need to do is read the Scriptures and pray. Be obedient to His Spirit. Sensitize yourself to His still small voice by staying roote in His word. Keep His word in your mind always. "Chew the cud." The Lord has quickened our conscience, which was once seared by our ever increasing sin, but now we are made new and free from the old bloated body of death. Praise God for His tender mercies. -Jeshuafreak |

36 | What is to be understood or what maybe t | Luke 16:8 | Jeshuafreak | 52722
John Wesley comentery: http://www.gospelcom.net/eword/comments/luke/mhc/luke16.htm Verses 1-12 Whatever we have, the property of it is God's; we have only the use of it, according to the direction of our great Lord, and for his honour. This steward wasted his lord's goods. And we are all liable to the same charge; we have not made due improvement of what God has trusted us with. The steward cannot deny it; he must make up his accounts, and be gone. This may teach us that death will come, and deprive us of the opportunities we now have. The steward will make friends of his lord's debtors or tenants, by striking off a considerable part of their debt to his lord. The lord referred to in this parable commended not the fraud, but the policy of the steward. In that respect alone is it so noticed. Worldly men, in the choice of their object, are foolish; but in their activity, and perseverance, they are often wiser than believers. The unjust steward is not set before us as an example in cheating his master, or to justify any dishonesty, but to point out the careful ways of worldly men. It would be well if the children of light would learn wisdom from the men of the world, and would as earnestly pursue their better object. The true riches signify spiritual blessings; and if a man spends upon himself, or hoards up what God has trusted to him, as to outward things, what evidence can he have, that he is an heir of God through Christ? The riches of this world are deceitful and uncertain. Let us be convinced that those are truly rich, and very rich, who are rich in faith, and rich toward God, rich in Christ, in the promises; let us then lay up our treasure in heaven, and expect our portion from thence. 16:8 And the lord commended a the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the b children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. (a) This parable does not approve the steward's evil dealing, for it was definitely theft: but parables are set forth to show a thing in a secret way, and as it were, to present the truth by means of an allegory, even though it may not be exact: so that by this parable Christ means to teach us that worldly men are more clever in the affairs of this world than the children of God are diligent for everlasting life. (b) Men that are given to this present life, contrary to whom are the children of light: Paul calls the former carnal and the latter spiritual.------------- The Geneva Study Bible states------- http://www.gospelcom.net/eword/comments/luke/geneva/luke16.htm 16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon c of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting d habitations. (c) This is not spoken of goods that are gotten wrongly, for God will have our bountifulness to the poor proceed and come from a good fountain: but he calls those things riches of iniquity which men use wickedly. (d) That is, the poor Christians: for they are the inheritors of these habitations; Theophylact.----------- John Gill's Exposition is quite lengthy read it at the site-------http://www.gospelcom.net/eword/comments/luke/gill/luke16.htm----Jeshuafreak |

39 | blaspheme the Spirit | Bible general Archive 1 | Jeshuafreak | 52392
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is someting the Pharisee's were commiting. They told Jesus His works were being done by the power of Satan, when they knew darn good and well that it was God who gave Jesus His power. This is an ongoing thing that one might commit. It is not done by true believers, it would be impossible for them to blaspheme Him, for those who truelly know Him. On the other hand, a religious, legalistic, pharisaical type blasphemes Him everyday by their lifestyle. Luke 13 26then you will begin to say, "We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.' 27But He will say, "I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.' 28There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. Romans 8 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature,[1] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.[2] And so he condemned sin in sinful man,[3] 4in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. 5Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. |
