21 | How is "found approval" not by vote? | Acts 6:4 | Aliennow | 159867
When we have certain spiritual gifts that God approves of and it shows to others, there is no need for a vote. The whole congregation approved of it. Where as in a vote you usually will not see 100 percent approval.
22 | gods purpose for nonbelievers | 1 Corinthians | Aliennow | 158970
We are all created by God and in His image with a purpose for living. To read about Spiritual gifts go to 1 Corinthians chapter 17. 1 Corinthians 17: 1- 3 "Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit." May I ask why you consider yourself a non-believer? |

23 | WHAT IS TRUTH? | Eph 4:15 | Aliennow | 160437
I am not sure that all Christians are afraid to tell the truth about sin, but was wondering if you meant to other people or to God? Truth and Love means: Proverbs 12:17-19 "A truthful witness gives honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. Matthew 22:38-40 "This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." |

24 | How do you explain the mystery? | Phil 2:8 | Aliennow | 159730
I like to think of it as three different key rings. Separated they have the same purpose they are still key rings. Together they have the same purpose they are key rings.

26 | Testing Faith | James 1:2 | Aliennow | 159847
Greetings NightJay Deuteronomy 13:3 "you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul." James 1:2-4 "2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." I feel that God is testing our faith at all times even when we do not realize it. There was a time when I wondered if I had faith enough to trust God. I was driving in my car, praying about it, and suddenly I got an urge to let go of the steering wheel, close my eyes, and allow God to drive. It took alot for me to let my hands off the wheel, but I never could bring myself to the point of closing my eyes. I am not sure that I would tempt God into testing your faith. Blessings, Aliennow |

27 | Is Deuteronomy 13:3 out of context? | James 1:2 | Aliennow | 159995
I am not sure, but did you look it up?
28 | 20 years of wrong ? | 1 John 1:9 | Aliennow | 159000
My case actually goes back 40 years. Just because we give our lives to Christ and repent of our sins does not mean that we will not sin again. We are always in a constant battle with the flesh(sin) and the spirit (good). Once we repent we need to ask for descernment to be led away from the temptations of the flesh.
29 | Paradise on earth | Revelation | Aliennow | 160328
When you speak of Paradise do you mean as in the Garden of Eden or as in heaven? I would start in Revelations 21 to read about the New Jerusalem. |
