23 | Why the world condemned itler for doing | OT general | jlpangilinan | 237620
When we read these verses, it seems that it is okay for Israel to destroy any country nation exterminate them whatever they like... Why when Hitler tried to do the same things to Israel/jews the world condemned Him and name him the greatest criminal, the anti christ whatever named they wanted to call Him. De 12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: De 20:17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee: Jos 11:20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses. Jg 21:11 And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man. 1Sa 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1Sa 15:9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly. |

24 | Jesus know all things why marvelled? | NT general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 62975
I asked this question before but I dont get the right answer: In this verse Peter said that Christ know all things. Joh 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep In the book of Matthew the author write that Jesus marvelled when he found such great faith in the person of roman officer. Mt 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. My question is who say/write the true how come that Jesus marvelled if he knew all things He must expected that faith of roman officer, but He marvelled? God bless, Johnny |

25 | Is the request of Christ Granted? | NT general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 70619
Is this request granted? Lu 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. In local telivision in the Philippines a certain pastor aired his teaching regarding this verse. We are going to meet him to have a friendly discussion after December 25,. The teaching of the said pastors goes: 1. Judas was forgiven because he just fulfilled his role in the death of Jesus Christ. a)In the case of judas, his reasoning that the reason why judas did his part because Christ allows the devil to enter the heart of judas All chracter that participated in the death of Jesus Christ was forgiven, pontious pilate, the scribes pharisees and other group of people that gave way to crussified Christ is all saints. The verse that quoted to prove his claim is the verse I quoted. "forgive them for they know not why they do" It means he said, all character in that said events was forgiven because they only fulfill thier role in that scripted way of salvation. Any comments are welcome agree, or disagree. God bless, Johnny |

27 | Foot washing are still applicable today? | NT general | jlpangilinan | 243739
Perhaps during that time this actions is applicable, as we can read in the Bible, Christ with his Disciple done a lot of walking to preach the Gospel. Nowadays, preacher has Royce, Force, Ferrari, and sometimes has a private Jet, walking in red carpet with their luxurious shoes, for example the sandals/shoes of the popes are highly decorated with gold, no need for foot washing necessary. |

29 | Why God tolerated Abraham and Isaac? | Genesis | jlpangilinan | 29314
Genesis 20:1-12 If abraham is truly a man of God why he afraid for his life? He is coward? a liar (although we know that sarah is his half sister) but he dont tell the whole truth to Abimelech. If we analyze these verses and what happened when Abraham offer Isaac to God it seems that abraham is ready to kill his son but he afraid if his life is the one involve? Why God tolerated this kind of actions of Abraham? If we read of what happen to Rebecca and Isaac (Gen 26:1-22)the same thing that he lie to Abimelech for he afraid that people might kill them because rebecca is beautiful. Are they family of a coward and liar? what kind of Man of God these persons was? God bless, Johnny |

Ge 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. during that time (as far as know) there is no 10 commandments yet) and the teaching of eternal life and eternal damnation was not mentioned to them... |

32 | Is Cain Exempted in Hell | Genesis | jlpangilinan | 235756
No, God did specifically tell them that they will going to hell for eternal damnation nor going to heaven for eternal life. Ge 2:16 ¶ And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. God did not mentioned to Adam that his soul will go to hell or heaven, what God said to adam was: Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. did God mentioned eternal life in there? did God mentioned any piece of eternal fire in there? Simply None... |

36 | There are three Ark mentioned in the bib | Gen 6:14 | jlpangilinan | 17804
Steve, I think there are three: 1. Noah's Ark 2. The ark of bulrushes (Moses) 3. The sacred ark of Covenant Johnny Ark Noah's ark, a building of gopher-wood, and covered with pitch, 300 cubits long, 50 cubits broad, and 30 cubits high (Ge 6:14-16); an oblong floating house of three stories, with a door in the side and a window in the roof. It was 100 years in building (Ge 5:32; 7:6). It was intended to preserve certain persons and animals from the deluge which God was about to bring over the earth. It contained eight persons (Ge 7:13; 2Pe 2:5), and of all "clean" animals seven pairs, and of "unclean" one pair, and of birds seven pairs of each sort (Ge 7:2-3). It was in the form of an oblong square, with flat bottom and sloping roof. Traditions of the Deluge, by which the race of man was swept from the earth, and of the ark of Noah have been found existing among all nations. The ark of bulrushes in which the infant Moses was laid (Ex 2:3) is called in the Hebrew teebah, a word derived from the Egyptian teb, meaning "a chest." It was daubed with slime and with pitch. The bulrushes of which it was made were the papyrus reed. The sacred ark is designated by a different Hebrew word, 'aron', which is the common name for a chest or coffer used for any purpose (Ge 50:26; 2Ki 12:9-10). It is distinguished from all others by such titles as the "ark of God" (1Sa 3:3), "ark of the covenant" (Jos 3:6; Heb 9:4), |

37 | I hope it would help | Gen 27:7 | jlpangilinan | 15431
steve, sorry for not getting back to you immediately. I quoted some verses here, maybe it would help. Genesis 25:30-34 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. if you see from those verses that Esau, is not that after for his being the first born of Isaac. He sale his birth right to Jacob. |

38 | do piercing | Ex 21:6 | jlpangilinan | 112848
If a peircing is ok do you think it is ok to 65 ears old Christian to have it his/her belly and go to church? Do you think this really a christian attitude? Le 21:5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh. You mentioned in your comments that God judge us not in our appearrance but in hour hearts. So maybe it is also ok to go church naked? God will not judge us in appearance right? God is not affected in our appearance He is holy, but how about our co-churches the people around us do you think they believed you are a christain going to the church naked? I am not saying that you said it is ok to go naked but the peircing is the same thing. I dont think a good Christian will put piercing in her belly so she can glorified God. God gave us standards of how we can glorify Him, and I am sure it is not to put piercing in her belly. Mt 5:13 ¶ Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Mt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. We are the salt for mankind, we are the light for mankind, we shine before men and see our good works, and glorify our Father in Heaven. Do you think piercing in our belly will show how good Christian we are? I dont think so. You have to be a good example to mankind. What do you think the reason why President George Bush did not put piercing in his nose eyebrow and to his belly? He wants respect! as a Christian we need respect and show respect in our selves. I am glad that my pastors dont do peircing in thier belly. God bless, |

Did Moses seen God face to face?: Moses write/claimed: Ge 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. De 34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, What apostle John said: Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
