Hello Glg4ever, Rev 3:7 Steve |
1502 | On the fence | Rev 3:16 | srbaegon | 218752
Hello PaulS, Perhaps he was referring to Revelation 3:15-16. 15 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Steve |

1503 | Is there forgiveness for all sin? | Rev 3:19 | srbaegon | 60864
Hello ydolomite If it's known beforehand that the sin will re-occur, we can hardly call it repentance, because there was no turning away. If, however, there IS a definite turning away with no intention of committing the sin (although it may happen) then we could call it repentance. Does that help? Steve |

1504 | is this rider the anti-christ | Rev 6:2 | srbaegon | 121789
Hello ssalt, There is nothing to indicate that this is the anti-christ. All that can be stated for certain is that this is a great conquerer. Steve |
1505 | Need the names of the 4 horsemen | Rev 6:8 | srbaegon | 33702
Hello The horsemen are mentioned in Rev 6:1-8. Only one of the riders is named--Death (verse 8). Steve |
1506 | Do we still have memory in Heavens? | Rev 6:10 | srbaegon | 70846
Hello Cheung We must be able to. Rev. 6:9-10 (ESV) When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. [10] They cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Notice how these in heaven are asking God to take vengeance for their wrongful deaths on earth. Steve |
1507 | 144,000?? | Rev 7:4 | srbaegon | 201815
Hello COG88, Scripture is clear that these are descendants of Israel--12,000 from each tribe. Steve |
1508 | will people be saved during tribulation? | Rev 7:14 | srbaegon | 227059

1509 | Why are the 7 thunders not written about | Rev 10:4 | srbaegon | 153244
Hello soulcommando, No reason is given. There is no other answer. Steve |
1510 | was the serpent a snake or satan ? | Rev 12:9 | srbaegon | 19323
Genesis says it was a serpent. Revelation 12:9 and 20:2 identify the serpent as Satan. I would conclude, therefore, that it was Satan in the form of a serpent. Steve |
1511 | Will all have chance to accept Christ? | Rev 14:6 | srbaegon | 228546
Hello Godchaser77 and welcome, First, the only scripture that says the entire world will hear the gospel is Rev 14:6-7. At the time that is fulfilled we can rest assured all on earth have had opportunity to hear it. Second, Rom 1:19-21 makes plain that all instinctively know God exists, so that many openly reject Him even without hearing the gospel. Steve |
1512 | Vials and bowls revelation. | Rev 15:7 | srbaegon | 237291
Hello, The two words--bowl and vial--are referring to the same object. The difference depends on which translation of the Bible being used. Steve |
1513 | is Armagedon to take place soon. | Rev 16:16 | srbaegon | 47466
Hello praise the Lord The battle of Armagedon is the nations makinf war against the Lord Jesus. It has nothing to do with one people group against another. Steve |
1514 | rev 18:2 explain it to me please | Rev 18:2 | srbaegon | 119548
Hello charlct, In Revelation, Babylon is representative of a world system or power. The description shows how utterly corrupt it is. Steve |
1515 | Riders and "reigners"? | Rev 19:14 | srbaegon | 44028
Hello Mommabps I have also heard that teaching concerning the riders. It might be possible--maybe not. I like your thought. As for believers reigning with Christ-- Rev. 5:9-10 (ESV) And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, [10] and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth." Steve |
1516 | When is this reign? | Rev 19:14 | srbaegon | 44032
Hello Mommabps I would be inclined to say it begins during the 1000 years because there will be reigning on the earth. Steve |
1517 | Book of Life | Rev 20:15 | srbaegon | 68585
Hello mbooker No, it does not say. Steve |
1518 | In Heaven you will not know things of th | Rev 21:4 | srbaegon | 68987
Hello Bobbette Is Rev 21:4 the verse you were searching for? I don't think what you have experiences has anything to do with a spiritual battle. We long for our loved ones, and the past things associated with them (in your case 1's and 2's) will continue to be a part of us through our lives. It's quite natural. Steve |
1519 | new heaven and new earth | Rev 21:10 | srbaegon | 223802
Yes it will. Rev 21:9-22:5 describes the new Jerusalem. 21:10 states it comes out of heaven and 21:24-27 state the people will go in and out. Steve |
1520 | The NASB is interpreting here | Rev 22:12 | srbaegon | 131990
Hello Dalcent, I hope you don't mind us chiming in while waiting for Tim Moran to come online. BradK has a reasonable literal translation. The word 'ergon' is definitely a singular noun, so it would seem to be a complete body of work (so to speak). That could be why NASB and ESV translate it as they do. I don't like it either. Steve |
