Dear, conqueror, Eccl 3:15 That which is has been already and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by. God is omnipresnt, that is...He is present in all places at all times. I belive that Ecc 3:15 is an example of God revealing this attribute to His people. Hopalong |

146 | how would you explain this JW pet Q | John 10:30 | hopalong | 200678
Thanks Brad, I expect another vist from my visitors, and have been boning up on their theology. My plan is to challenge them on their doctrine which claims that Jesus and Michael the archangel are the the same person. The NWT contains 5 verses in which Michael is mentioned, but none of the 5 even mentions Jesus at all! Perhaps, by God's grace, it will give them pause regarding the efficacy of other of their doctrines. May God the Holy Spirit grant them ears to hear and eyes to hear the great good news. Rom 8:30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. Hopalong |

148 | Reconciling Scripture verses. | OT general | hopalong | 200538
Dear parpar, I would agree with you, if I believed that those who are "dead in their sins" were capable of accepting and understanding spiritual things. But the Bible says: Matt 16:17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 1 Cor 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 149 | Reconciling Scripture verses. | OT general | hopalong | 200537
Hi Doc, Indeed, God does not "clear the guilty". Rather, those whom He clears have died,(Eph 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins), and have been raised new creatures in Christ.(Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), Hopalong |

The Lord sent 2 JW's to my door today. Naturaly the Deity of Christ was the pivitol topic of our conversation. I believe I did fair to well on my arguement but not as well as I would have wished to do. Therefore, I would be indebted to you all for your input on how to defend this particular doctrine. Thanks Hopalong |

156 | The king's heart | Prov 21:1 | hopalong | 200210
Luke 1:37 "For nothing will be impossible with God." Eph 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; Eph 5:2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Eph 5:3 But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; Eph 5:4 and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. If we follow the Word our deliberations will not degrade into carnality. It's a shame that we must avoid disccussing the great doctrines of the Church. What does that say to the World? Hopalong |

157 | The king's heart | Prov 21:1 | hopalong | 200207
Thanks Doc, The reason I asked was with the purpose of glorifying God before His children. It is my prayer that none of His attributes be negleted by me or any one of His own. I also had in mind the possibility that some one might not be aware of the extent of His rule. Hopalong |
