Greetings friend, I read your personal user profile, and being as dense as I am, I’m not sure what it is exactly that you are trying to say? 144 | CHRISTIAN PLAYING MUSIC IN BAR | Rom 14:22 | CDBJ | 219077
Greetings, This portion of your post kind of made me chuckle, “If not, I would say you might better spend your witnessing time where satan is not in control.” In order for someone to do this they would have to be absent from the body and face to face with the Lord. Ephes. 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 2 Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Ephes. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 145 | Purposing alone is not enough | Dan 1:8 | CDBJ | 219062
Greetings, Concerning your post with emphasis on the following. “After purposing in your heart to make Jesus your Lord and Personal savior.” We cannot make Jesus anything, as it were: He is what He is! One can either except it or reject it; it is all a matter of fact, and the work that God has done from eternity past. One elects to fall in line with God’s plan or they suffer the consequence of the results. The daily intake of God’s Word and the application of the same is the only way to come out on top of the process when all is said and done. Have a great day, CDBJ |

Greetings Synchronicity Podcast, It’s nice to hear from others on the forum that are so well informed when it comes to the deeper knowledge of Bible doctrine. That being said I would like to enlighten you about an issue that might not have crossed you mind and that is the posting, on your User Info section, about the pushing to the forefront your personal Web Site. This according to the terms of use is a major infraction with our host, the Lockman foundation. I would hate to lose a gifted new member such as yourself because you weren’t aware of the problem; if you would be so hind and change this toward a more personal slant I’m sure it would be highly appreciated and eliminate any conflict of interest. Yours in Christ, CDBJ |

147 | "Holy" - position or quality? | Bible general Archive 4 | CDBJ | 219047
Greetings, The word, Holy, comes down to use in the New Testament from the Koine Greek word, hagios, hag'-ee-os; from hagos (an awful thing) [compare Greek 53 (hagnos), Hebrew 2282 (chag)]; sacred (physical pure, moral blameless or religious, ceremony consecrated) (most) holy (one, thing), saint. The actual word with reference to God is an accumulation of His Righteousness and Justice, i.e. what the righteousness of God demands the justice of God must execute. The word “saint”, is derived from the same root word and in essence means those set aside or sanctified in Christ Jesus. Any holiness that we “might exude” is only that which emanates from a personal relationship with the Son of God, Jesus Christ. When at the point of putting all of our hope for eternal life, faith, in the person and work of Christ and what He did for us on the cross, God imputes the very righteousness of Christ to us as a free gift. 2 Cor. 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. The totality of ones salvation resides in Christ and an “undivided faith” in Him alone with no reservations makes one holy in God’s sight. 1 John 5:12-13 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Have a great day, CDBJ |

151 | The Suffering of the Church | Acts 8:2 | CDBJ | 217623
Greetings, I find it very hard trying to understand, from your point of view, that God has actually called us His children to evil. 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: The words in the English, “For even hereunto” are translated from one preposition in the Koine Greek and it is the word, EIS, which is a primary preposition of purpose. It is God’s “purpose” that we should suffer and using your form of exegesis it would be God’s purpose to call us for an evil purpose as well as that of Christ Himself. “ When scripture contradicts scripture we don’t have truth and when we find verses in opposition to our assumptions, scripture stands in judgment of us we don’t stand in judgment of it!” (R.A. Tozer) 1 Peter 5:5 (B) and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. CDBJ |

152 | Will there be 2nd resurection | Ex 4:3 | CDBJ | 217420
Greetings rakpak, Here is one that is a mystery? The Bible states, Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: We know as believers in Christ that our sins where judged in Christ on the cross so the judgment for believers in Jesus will be one for rewards. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. CF 2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. The judgment seat is the Greek word BEMA seat, which is for rewards not condemnation. The question is this: Those that are born and trust, and believe in Jesus during the millennium will need to have a judgment seat, as it were, at some point in time; when will it be, since the only judgment spoken of after the millennium is the white throne judgment? Rev. 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Does scripture speak from silence, because the believers aren’t dead so they are in fact written in the book of life? Have fun, CDBJ |

153 | Are there different judgments? | Bible general Archive 4 | CDBJ | 217351
I would go along with what you have suggested, except for the following; “The various nations have dealt with the Lords earthly people (the Jews).” It’s not the "Jews" in general that are God’s, people since they rejected Him at His first advent. The people of God are believers, be they Jews or gentiles, male or female: those that have believed in God’s Christ, which is Jesus, the second person of the trinity. If you can figure this out then the conclusion continues on to the next step or likely question. CDBJ |

155 | Who then is on this broad way? | Matt 7:13 | CDBJ | 217033
Why pray tell would one want to imitate the Jews who, as a whole, have rejected the Lord Jesus as the Christ and as a result God has cut them off so that He could graft in the gentiles who have trusted in Him? Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Most of Israel for years has done nothing more then put on a big act one of which any self-respecting believer in our precious Saviour Jesus would not want to emulate by exercising Jewish traditions and habits. Romans 4:8-11 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: Carrying on the traditions of rebellious Jews isn’t the answer. If that was what God wanted it would be very easy for Him to save more Jews. I am of the seed of Abraham by faith, not by traditions that mean nothing. Romans 9:7-8 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. It looks like there are gentiles that like to play the same game that Peter played only in reverse. Galatians 2:11-15 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. 13And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. 14But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, The lord chose me as who I am to preach and further the gospel and playing the game of hypocrisy as a Jew would only frustrate the grace of God that is in me. 1 Cor. 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 2 Cor. 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. Why saved gentile would want to put on a phony façade and try to sound and act like a Jew literally blows my mind! Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. We can’t impress God with some kind of a act that we put on: the only thing that impresses God is what His Son Jesus Christ did on the cross and the sooner humans believe it the better off they’ll be! John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Romans 10:1-3 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. This is the last that I will be posting to this subject it is futile. My final two cents worth, CDBJ |

156 | Who then is on this broad way? | Matt 7:13 | CDBJ | 216995
Greetings, As far as you are concerned, where do the following fit into your program of the path? Acts 15:24-29 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Suppose one steps off of this path that you speak of then what is their demise? From your perspective, taking into consideration your primary verse of Matt 7:13; what is the way or path referring to in the next verse: keeping it all in context? Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. You speak of keeping the commandments which is a plural word in the Koine Greek but the last word in Matt7:14 is the word “IT” which is “AUTOS” in the Greek and it is a pronoun in the singular: something isn’t adding up with regards to the path or way that you are suggesting?? 159 | Hello and thank you azurelaw | Mark 12:31 | CDBJ | 216878
Greetings, Thank him for his gracious insult and lack of love then pack your bag and leave because you are heading into a controlling situation that you will regret the rest of your life. Your “friend” is taking text out of context for a pretext! 1 Cor. 13:1-8 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. 4Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.
