142 | Mary's egg used in conception of Jesus? | Gen 3:15 | justme | 71916
In the conception of Jesus Christ, was Marys egg united with what The Holy Spirit did to make the egg start to form Christ? Or did the Holy spirit implant everything into Mary's womb, as a complete living zigote (Christ)ready to attach to the wall of the womb? After reading about the notes about Jesus getting His flesh from Mary I thought about it and came up wit a question I have never read an answer to? See if you can prove your conclusion with Scripture, and please give some real thought into it, before answering, please? Blessings to all. justme |

144 | Resurrection Day, not easter! | Exodus | justme | 215228
I have just spent a long time on the Christian Post. It makes me so very sad to see the word easter, to describe the RESURRECTION DAY OF JESUS! Think who is honored when we use the word easter? Eastar was the goddess of fertility and the celebration of this satanic goddess was easter, thus easter eggs and bunnies. Every Resurrection Day we continue we continue to let the wong word for the most Holy Day to be called the worng word. This grieves me deeply. justme |

145 | Sunday Sabbath or not? | Ex 20:8 | justme | 232712
I have been searching for a solid answer about the Sabbath. I have always worshiped on Sunday. But here is something that I am thinking about. Today we believe in every Commandment but Sabbath worship. Why. Now I have always thought worship on Sunday is the same, but it is not. Sabbath is a time of rest, but for me all my life the only real rest might of been a nap. Today we play every sport, or watch them. We shop, go to movies, play golf, cards, just about everything, but little relates to even thinking about God. Here is my concern, question, Is worship on Sunday morning, or evening, if your church has a evening service, really the same as what done before Jesus died? I know some things like no cooking was a man made, but the way most of us do is not a day of rest, but a day off to do as we see fit, after Sunday worship. In my mind something is just not right. Is anyone else thinking like me? just me |

146 | Is murder ever right? | Ex 20:13 | justme | 216277
Yesterday, Sunday May 31,2009 Dr. Tiller of Kansas was killed by a gunman. Dr. Tiller had done more than 80,000 late abortions. Dr, Tiller had no restrictions as to how late term the abortions was. Many babile would have lived if allowed to be born. I do not ever think murder is right. But I have very mixed feelings about "Killer Tiller". I have strong feelings about taking the law into ones hands as well. In light of Psalm 139 how do we understand how these killings of 80,000 helpless and weak children? How should we feel about Dr. Tiller and his outright death? justme |

147 | Protecting the Unborn? | Ex 20:13 | justme | 243427
The protection of children in the womb, has become an overlooked part of this presidential election. There have been many who dislike the Republican who is running. I have struggled and been attacked for standing with the Party solely for the reason of protecting unborn children. Can anyone tell me how to view this any other way? |

As a Christian US citizen, should we attempt to buy US made goods, where available, over goods made in other countries? How much do we consider that some goods made in some countries are made with basicly slave wages. Should we stop buying goods made from countries that are against Christianity? Please attempt to relate your answer with Scripture. justme |

150 | Should people be warned? | Num 26:61 | justme | 238317

151 | Hank: Sunday School Material? | Num 28:11 | justme | 97642
Hank: Just so I do no assume the wrong thing may I ask you a question? Thank you, I will. Are you saying we should not use Sunday School material? Being a Souther Baptist for some time, I have found the Southern Baptist are very loyal to their printed and published materials mostly from the publishing house in Nashville. Which I find no fault in. I found that except for two small areas, about democratic form of governing a church, and ordination of women in positions other than pastor, I would support the New Baptist Faith and Message. Thewe to differences are no reason to disfellowship over as far as I am concernedd. Any thoughts? Blessings. justme |

154 | The Christian response? | Judg 1:13 | justme | 196977
Last night I watched a television program in which Rev. John Hagee spoke. Rev. Hagee was on Public Television. I was dumbfounded and found him to be remarkable. Rev. Hagee believes we need to have a preemptive attack on Iran, asap. Rev. Hagee believes we will usher in the return of Christ by such an attack. Verses were quoted from the usual verses that refer the end of times. Having watched Rev. Hagee several times on television, I think most of his preaching has to do with "end times". I am concerned that when Rev. Hagee speaks as one who is very knowledgable in the Bible and claims to be an "Evangelical Christian" he is misleading the public. The interviewer did say there are more than 25 different kinds Baptist groups. But the idea was put forth that this dod represent the majority of "Enangelical Christians". This next year being a presidential election year, should Christian leaders really speak out like as Rev. Hagee has? Should high profile leaders like Rev. Pat Robinson, publically announce their support of a person running for office? How does Romans 14:22 fit into being a Christian? Should a Christian vote for the best qualified person, if the person is not a Christian, or a Christian who lacks qualifications? justme |

156 | Witness or Culture follower | 1 Chr 19:5 | justme | 190864
kalos: I think a carnal believer can and will do what ever they are drawn to. The beard thing is pretty legalistic. If men adapted to the culture they live in, without considering their witness to the world, who would be able to change the world. Actions sometimes speak louder than words. We have lots of black horse drawn buggies near us, and there is no doubt what they believe, as they have made a huge statement, they are not of this present culture, or of the world. This is extreme, and I would not do this, but we have become friends with several Amish families. They live their faith for all to see. How do we live our faith so others see. |

159 | Suffering...how do you endure it? | Job | justme | 241162
I am hoping this question-post will bring out some deeply honest answers. How do you endure suffering? What Bible verses, or hymns, or whatever do you fine brings the real closeness of the Lord to you. I am asking this not only for myself, but for those who just might want this sometime down the road of their lives. I pray a lot, especially during a medical procedure. I recall Romans 8:29 and believe my suffering is a way of more understanding in a very small way of what Christ must have experienced. I say to myself, I still have no idea what pain sin must have felt for my Lord Jesus Christ. If you have anything you would like to share please do so. Blessings... justme |

160 | The real price of a Bible? | Ps 2:2 | justme | 240586
Why would a conservative, Bible believing, Born again Christian leader want to met with the Roman Catholic Pope? I recently watch a history of the Bible under Mid Evil times. Over and over the Pope and the Catholic leaders persecuted anyone involved in any attempt the have the people get a Bible to understand Gods Word. As The movie said the went on with extreme punishment to anyone involved with getting a Bible, except Roman Catholic church leaders. This continued into the seventeenth century. Most all of the widely known Bible translators were put to death in the most barbaric painful ways, in such a way everyone could witness their death. Yet today the Roman Catholic church still practices nearly all the same unbiblical things that the early Christians like Martin Luther stood against. Have Protestants just let the issues the early Church Bible translators died for just drop away? After seeing this movie I thought most of us have at least one Bible and perhaps more Bibles at our use. When so many died so I could have a Bible that was not made under the Roman Catholic supervision, I felt ashamed. I have more than 14 Bibles and I really do not appreciate it, especially considering the blood shed it took to get the Bibles we take for granted. Why are not more Pastors telling this history so we can better love the Word of God we have and most people don't even read it? |
