121 | what does Roman 11:25 means? | Rom 11:25 | serenetime | 26914
thomaso, Very interesting scripture. because it starts off speaking in Rom.11:2,That God hath not cast away His people which he forknew. Verse 4, Here God is saying that he has reserved to himself seven thousand Men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Verse 5, Even now there is a remnant according to the election of Grace. Verse 7, What then, Israel has not obtained which he seeketh for, but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Verse 8, As it it written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear. Have they stumbled that they should fall God forbid, but through their fall salvation has come unto the Gentiles, Foreigners apart from Israel. But God has goodness and severity on them that fell. But toward thee, goodness if thou continue in His Goodness: otherwise you shall also be cut off. If them that fell continue not in unbelief, they can be graffed back in again. Verse 24, Now if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature (lineal descent) (wild as pertaining to the country, and fierce), and then were graffed in to a good olive tree which is contrary, opposing to nature, how much more shall these that fell being of the natural branches be graffed into their own olive tree. Verse 25, Her Paul does not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, he says don't ignore it, please understand it. Lest you should be wise in you own conceits; that this blindness (hardness and callousness) in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Fulness means in the greek means repletion or complete subjectively what fills (contents)(multitude) Gentiles is Ethnos in the Greek, meaning a race, a tribe, usually pagan, heathen, nation, people. Here it's talking about the ones that are saved by Grace unto salvation as I spoke of earlier in this post. Be come in means to enter, enter in, So while God has given the spirit of slumber to his that have fallen, Now it opens the door for the saving by Grace to the gentiles. Remember even now to this present time there is an election of Grace, for by Grace ye are saved unto salvation. This is a beautiful revelation if we truly understand it and truly see it with our eyes and truly hear with your ears. Thank you Jesus!!! In Love of the True Father and Blessings to you.... 122 | What does "purge me with hyssop mean? | Ps 51:7 | serenetime | 26830
songnheart, I would like to help in shedding some light on the interpretation of this scripture. To me when he says "Purge me" there's such a earnest need in his heart for complete cleansing. It's like don't just sprinkle, but saturate me. Every nook and cranny. There is such a longing to erase this sin, he feels dirty. Wants to feel the closeness to God and his love because somehow he feels separated, but God is always there.Such a sorrow that he's hurt God. "Purge me", make haste. The sooner the better. Purge me in the original Hebrew is #2398 is chata meaning a primitive root, properly to miss, hence to sin, by inference, to forfeit, lack, expiate, repent, lead astray, condemn. KJV, Bare the blame, commit sin by fault. Hyssop in the hebrew is ezob. It was used for sprinkling in some of the sacrifices and purifications of the Jews. In consequence of it's detergent qualities and how well it cleanses. Since on the stalk of hyssop the sponge of hyssop vinegar was held up to Jesus on the cross, John 19:29. There are many plants associated together with hyssop by qualities easily noticed rather than by close botannical affinities. So in this scripture he knows that if he is cleansed with hyssop, he knows he'll be completely clean, so much so that he will be whiter than snow, and I can't percieve what whiter than freshly fallen snow could be. There is such an assurance. This verse is so beautiful of the LOVE and FORGIVENESS and cleansing of God through Jesus interceding on our behalf. The Father Loves us so much, that we in the flesh could only get a glimpse of His unfailing LOVE for us. Oh how he must hurt on how the world is so sinful and filthy. Someday real soon we will be back in his LOvE. Oh how I can't wait. Take Good Care songnheart. In the Father's unfathomable Love, Serenetime

SRN, I do agree that their are some christians that give the devil way too much credit. I don't think that he can have as much power over anyone, but when you are totally focused on this it can take over. As for conspiracy theories, I would like to know your thoughts. In Love, Serenetime
124 | How did Nephilims come into existance? | Bible general Archive 1 | serenetime | 26586
wjohn, Hi You will get your answer in Genesis 6 starting at verse 1. Verse 2 says the sons of God. Sons of God here is Angels. Angels are called spirits in Ps.104:4, Heb.1:7,14 for spirits are created by God. Verse 4, specifies Giants after the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. But verse 2 tells you their lust for the daughters of men, and they took wives of all which they chose. They are Nephilim meaning fallen ones from naphal (to fall). I hope this helps. 125 | Why "servant"? | Rom 16:1 | serenetime | 26561
stobor, The translation I get in the original greek is #1249 is diakonos like you said, but it is translated as follows, to run on errands, an attendant, teacher and pastor. Technically a deacon or deaconess, minister, servant. So Pheobe was an attendant and teacher and helper to God's people in the church, and Paul commends her for it. Also in Mark 15:41 it says starting at verse 40, There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; 41 (Who also, when He was in Galilee, followed Him, and ministered unto Him;) and many other women which came up with Him unto Jerusalem. Here the word is minister #1247 diakoneo, It's comes from #1249, to be an attendant, i.e. wait upon (menially or as a host, friend or [fig.] teacher); technically to act as a deacon: (ad) minister (unto), serve, use the office as a deacon. So hear the word minister is translated back to the same meaning. But they were minstering to Jesus. Very Interesting. Jesus says we are free, and not in bondage so we do this because we love him and we desire to serve and minister, help, the people of God. I hope this helps. 126 | Is satan a spirit? | Ezek 28:14 | serenetime | 26547
SRN, I do agree that the word Satan means like an obstacle. I did say opponent, Adversary. But I don't agree that Satan himself lives in men, maybe the spirit of Satan lives in some men. I know he doesn't live in me nor his spirit. I'm not trying to make him out to be a mythological entity as you say. I was just putting down the translation of the word, and trying to be of help to mincc. Take Care, In Love, Serenetime
127 | Is satan a spirit? | Ezek 28:14 | serenetime | 26511
Mincc, First of all where it says Satan in scripture. The meaning of the word Satan is #7854 (Meaning for Satan in all OT) translated back to original Hebrew is, An opponent, the arch enemy of God. Adversary, withstand, resist. Now I believe that he is most definitely spirit. When speaking of Angels, they too are spirit because they are in the spiritual realm. In NT in the original Greek is #4567 meaning Aramaic in origin (same meaning in all NT scriptures) The accuser, i.e. the devil. But what kind of spirit is another story, but we can all agree is that he is in the spiritual realm, and we are not, right? Now if we're saying that Satan is Lucifer is #1966 in the original Hebrew meaning of the OT, In a sense of Brightness, the Morning Star, King of Babylon. The word Lucifer is not found in the NT. As in Ezek. 28:14 is says he was a Cherub, it is #3742 in the original Hebrew, and is the same translation for Cherub in all the OT. It says that a cherub is an imaginary figure. As for to kill. In Exodus 20:13 where we find the Ten Commandments it says Thou shall not kill. The meaning for kill in the original Hebrew is properly to dash to pieces, i.e. kill (a human being), especially to murder. Put to death, manslayer, murderer. From this translation I see and wholeheartedly believe that it means to premeditate to murder someone. Like lying in wait. Like having a plan. Because if not then all the people who have killed in self defense here and in war are unjustifiable. God gave us free will (YES) but also common sense in understanding his Word (letter to us) Accusing an innocent person that was drafted to war and had no choice but to kill and defend themselves and for the our country, and a person who kills someone that invades their home and it's either kill them or be killed is ludicrious, would you agree? So after all this, it is a sin to commit suicide, because it is premeditated. I hope this helps my friend. In the Love of the Living Water. Serenetime
128 | Lowest Common Denominator | Bible general Archive 1 | serenetime | 25228
Charis, The lowest point that I can possibly concieve on this sphere of enlightenment of love is to become as earth in Genesis 1:2. Tohu va Bohu. Darkness, to be decieved of the appointed time of when the bridegroom comes for his bride. The apparell of the bride has become black and void. For now is the time of the wedding to Iesous. The bride had already gone and eloped with the adulterous. The Devil, Satan, The Dragon, Apollyon, Adversary, Nachash, Son of Perdition, Abomination of desolations, Lucifer, The Bright and Morning Star, Death. Who is now the Brides Kinsman Redeemer. For now they are One. For all that belongs to It, It's now also the Brides Inheritence of EVIL Jealous Pride. For the Ways of Satan are the means to Death. To be blotted out. Nothingness, Negative, Non Existent, Never Known to exist, Null and Void. Cannot even be measured, but even worse still in existense feeling uttermost shame of anyone like those in Rev 6:15. To hide from the bridegroom they would wish for the rocks to fall on them to hide their shame. You would be better off to be non existent than to go on without experiencing True Love of the Father. But the lowest point would be to see those whom you had judged and persecuted and The Bridegroom turning his back and saying to you "I Never Knew You" Adulterous. This is why I study so diligently in search of the truth, so I can know that I am sharing to one of the Father's Precious children in Love and Truth. For I will be held accountable to My Father and my Messiah. In 2 Peter 3:9, It says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slacknes; but is longsuffering to us-ward not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Verse 10, But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. May we all be there for each other in Love. In True Love, Serenetime
129 | What does fearfully mean in this verse | Ps 139:14 | serenetime | 25203
Darnea, Hi, I just wanted to drop a little information about your question on Ps.139:14 the word fearfully is translated back to the original Hebrew as the word (yare) meaning to fear morally, and revere, to frighten, be (make) afraid, dread, put in fear, reverence. To revere means to regard with mingled fear, respect and affection; to reverence. Reverence means awe mingled with respect and esteem. And of course to have morals is to be in right conduct or duties of man; ethically, virtuous; chaste; discriminating against right and wrong; didactic; verified by reason or probability. With all that in mind, always striving to be more Christ like daily in our lives. We are to be a light that shineth in darkness. It's not telling us to be fearful as we would be fearful of a prowler or stalker for example. This fear is of the world. The Father is Spirit and Love. In His Love, Serenetime

131 | Is lusting after wife sin? | Matt 5:28 | serenetime | 25197
Xchngdlife, After I had answered this question by you previously I had a awful feeling about this that somehow my answer was incomplete. But the Holy spirit kept tugging at my heart to complete this answer. I really feel that even though I gave some meanings of lust in the NT, I have noticed that not one was good, except the one in Matthew. Because it says it can be for good or bad, but to me it's still not good. It makes my answer look like a mistake. But now I would like to give some other examples of lust, covet, desire, etc. They are all the same meaning, Doesn't every christian desireth, lust for, covet for the return of Iesous. It's in Love. In 1Cor. 12:31 It is 2206, Zeloo in the Greek means to have warmth of feeling for or against, covet earnestly, lust, have desire, be zealous, envy. When you and your wife are apart there is a desire to be together, because when you do, you and her become one flesh. In Deut. 18:6 which is the book of the law, the word is Desire (which has the same meaning for Lust, covet) is #185 meaning longing for, desire, lust after, pleasure. Also in Deut. 21:11, again in the Hebrew for lust is #2836 Chashaq, Meaning cling, join, to love, delight in, to deliver, have a delight, set in love, a longing. I know that when my husband is away at work, I have a strong desire for his company and closeness. It's not just desire for sexuality, but also for companionship. Today for example I called him at work really missing him, just wanting to talk. He missed me just as much. And still desiring, lusting, longing for one another after 22yrs. of marriage. I thank Iesous for bringing us together in 1980. In 1Cor. 14:39. for covet (lust) is #2206 again Zeloo in the Greek meaning, to have warmth of feeling for or against, affect, covet earnestly, have desire, lust, be zealous. So you see there is also good side to this coin. I, too agree with the others that the husband is to love their wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it, and likewise the wife is to love her husband and submit, etc. It's not exact how the scripture reads, but close enough. Take care, I hope this helps. In the Love of the Father Serenetime
132 | What scripture talks about alcohol | Hab 2:5 | serenetime | 24084
Nolan, Hi again. Pertaining to your last note to me. I wanted to show you why I was confused. That in Prov. 23:29-35, and in Hab. 2:5, Joel 1:5, Hosea 4:18, Jeremiah 13:12-14, which you gave as an answers for drinking alcohol being a sin to B. Burnette that from my understanding of these verses that they pertain to the cup of wrath prophesized of the coming of King Nebachadnezzar, and is an example of how the people would not listen and believe his coming. He as you know is a type of antichrist. Because they would not hear the truth he would send them a strong delusion (cup of wrath). Just like I believe it shows in the book of Revelations of the coming Antichrist, which will also send a strong delusion (cup of wrath),to believe a lie. In Rev. 14:8, And there followed another angel saying, Babylon has fallen, is fallen, that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. In Ezek.44:21 which you also gave as an example, it says Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court. This is for the priests only. As far as the original question goes, a clear interpretation for me to see is to use Eph.5:18 it says,And be not drunk with wine wherein in excess; but be filled with the Spirit. In Deut 29:6 This a good example of not drinking wine or strong drink. They were on a type of probation. It says, You have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD you God. In Ruth 3:7 it says And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she (Ruth) came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down. This is a great example of being seduced. What it comes down to is that like anything we should not drink too much, and keep our faculties in tact. So we can remain safe for ourselves and others. There are many other verses having to do with drinking. Drinking alcohol to an excess is a sin as you can see, because you can hurt yourself and other's who are innocent. But it is also a sin to tell someone they cannot drink wine at all, because Jesus brought it as a wedding gift. Thanks for your time, and if there is any other verses that you feel can clarify this better, it would be a benefit to all. IN the Father's Love, Serenetime
133 | What scripture talks about alcohol | Hab 2:5 | serenetime | 23991
Nolan, I'm confused with your answer. I need your help. Jesus's first miracle was in John 2:1-10. Jesus comes to this wedding. It says that there were six waterpots which held 2 to 3 firkens per pot of water. After filling them to the brim, Jesus says to draw them out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. When the ruler of the feast tasted the water that was made into wine he knew not whence it was: but the servants that drew the water knew. When the governor of the feast called the bridgroom, he said unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. I don't understand, but from what the governor says, that everyone at this wedding are already drunk. Jesus is bringing the best wine last, so because everyone is already drunk, wont they be gusling this wine when they shouldn't be drinking at all according to my understanding of your answer. I don't want to misunderstand. I would appreciate your imput. In the Father's Love, Serenetime
134 | What it the Bible's calling fornication? | Bible general Archive 1 | serenetime | 23908
Bill, Fornication in the Old Testament is 2181 in the hebrew of the Strong's Concordance means committing adultery continually in the feminine sense, commit idolatry. Also 8457 in the Old Testament in the hebrew means whoredom, harlotry. In the New Testament its 1608 in the Greek in the Strong's Concordance, meaning utterly unchaste, giving over to fornication, unclean, loss of innocence, immoral, an awful thing. As for kissing being fornication, well kissing to the point of necking which can lead to lust and to foreplay which leads to sexual intercourse is fornication when out of marriage. When two people come together this way, you two become one. In Genesis 2:24 it says Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. You notice it says wife, because when you come together sexually you are his wife in the sight of God. Also in 1 Cor. 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows. It is good for them if they abide (remain) even as I. Verse 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. And we are also to be an example to our children. In Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; And when he is old, he will not depart from it. In old times past throughout the world many cultures when two go in the tent or dwelling they're single, when they come out they're married. Their were no marriage licenses of paper in the days of old. But what's important is that you remain chaste in the sight of God. In the Father's Love, Serenetime
135 | unmarried couple kissing | Bible general Archive 1 | serenetime | 23900
A kiss on the cheek is fine in public. It's improper to go beyond this. I don't know if you are a female or male, but discretion is called for with good manners in public. I don't perticularly like seeing any couple kissing in public beyond the scope of a kiss on the cheek. I find it offensive. As for necking even in private, you need to be very careful as not to allow it to go beyond and lead to a temptation of lustful desire, something that may be regretted. We are to be examples of chasteness to others, and in representing The Father God. In the Love Of the Father, Serenetime
136 | can you help me defind Zion | 1 Kin 8:1 | serenetime | 23315
dltlshines, I agree with everything I have read, but just a added note, the spelling Zion is only in the Old Testament, which is number 6726 in the Hebrew of the Strongs Concordance, meaning as a permanent Capitol, a mountain in Jerusalem. In the New Testament the number is 4622 with the spelling of Sion, meaning a hill of Jerusalem, the church militant or triumphant. Hope this helps. Serenetime
137 | Is lusting after wife sin? | Matt 5:28 | serenetime | 23313
Xchngdlife, I have looked up the word lust only in some new testament scriptures. In Matt.5,28 the word lust is 1937 in the Greek, epithumeo, To set the heart upon, long for rightfully or otherwise. It is the same in James 4,2. In Rom.7,7 the word is 1939 in the Greek is epithumia, meaning a longing for, especially what is forbidden. In 1 Cor. 10,6 it is 1938 in the Greek, epithumetes, meaning a craver, to lust after and comes from 1937. In the New World Dictionary for Lust it says, pleasure, delight, appetite, to be eager, also it says a desire to gratify the senses, bodily appetite, sexual desire, seeking unrestrained gratification, etc. Lusting for your wife is a good thing. As long as it's only your wife. Serenetime
138 | Gen.3:15 | Gen 3:15 | serenetime | 22210
Hi Quester, In Gen. 3:15, And I will put emnity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The word emnity is 342 in the hebrew meaning hatred, hostility. The word seed is in the hebrew 2233 is sowing time, posterity, from 2232 sow, to disseminate, concieve seed. It, in the hebrew 1931, this or that, as or are. Shall bruise in the hebrew is 7779 to gape, snap at, to overwelm, break, cover. Thy head in the hebrew is 7218, meaning to shake the head, of place, time, rank. And thou, is 859 in the hebrew, thou or thee, ye or you. His heel in the hebrew 6119 a heel as protuberant, hence a track, the rear of an army, horse hoof, last, lier in wait. From 6117 To seize by the heel, also to restrain, supplant. I will put hatred, hostility between thee and the woman, between thy seed, posterity and her seed posterity, and concieving seed. It, this or that. Shall bruise, to gape, overwelm, cover, Thy head, meaning to shake the head, as time, place, rank. And thou, thee or thou, ye or you. Shall bruise, to gape, to snap at, overwelm, cover. His heel, hence a track, the rear of an army. I hope this does not confuse you. I found the translation back to the original hebrew in the Strong's Concordance. This is the King James Version. I hope this helps. Serenetime
139 | Is it wrong to be cremated? | NT general Archive 1 | serenetime | 22198
Hi Lizah, I don't think that cremation apposes God. In Gen. 3:19 it says, In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto the dust shalt thou return. Also in Gen. 40:19 it says,Yet within three days shall Pharoah lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee. Here it's saying that the flesh is destroyed in another way. Also in 1Cor. 13:3 it says, And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. In 1 Cor. 15:50 it says, Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. So you see the flesh is not worthy of inheriting the kingdom of God. I hope this helps. In Love, Serenetime
140 | What can you get your prayer life back? | Bible general Archive 1 | serenetime | 20881
Yogi, in Roman 10:17, it says, So then faith cometh by hearing , and hearing by the word of God. Do you have faith. If faith cometh by hearing, then are you hearing the word by a good teacher in your area. Yes you should read scripture to build up yourself, but without hearing, and I mean truly hearing the word of God by one who can rightly divide the word of truth, then this May be your problem. A good teacher is one who will not take a scripture here and there and give his own interpretation of it, but will read chapter by chapter, verse by verse. I hope this helps and yes your prayers to the Father in Jesus name in sincere need for wisdom and knowledge is a MUST. In Love, Serenetime
