122 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38665
Hi joe-thx for reply-your scriptures are wonderful you make me think--what is praise of God?-is it not -according to the scriptures -simply sharing with others all His works past and present? in Him angel1
123 | purgatory is it true? | Matt 22:32 | angel1 | 38892
Hi Joe thx for reply-I read the psalms often my favorite is 139. I guess what is on my mind is that it seems to me we study what God has done and what He will do but we don't talk much about what He is doing today except as it relates to prophesy. I think He's still working with us individually and i'd like to hear more about that too. in Him angel1
124 | Mark: Two narrative composition? | Mark | angel1 | 37236
This is interesting--#1 text4;35-and the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them"Let us pass over unto the other side."--What does this have to do with Jesus people and the Jesus movement? Your final "weaving" is10:52-and Jesus said"go thy way; they faith hath made thee whole." and immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.--I don't get your premise based on these scriptures---?--angel1
125 | Mark: Two narrative composition? | Mark | angel1 | 37341
hi thx for response-I have a time line problem here-you say mathew and luke follow mark-both math. and luke were deciples of Jesus. Mark is the "john mark " of Pauls ministry . Doesn't this mean you are starting with a false premise? Also you state "like most I hold to the primacy of the gospel of Mark."-Most don't hold to that. in Him angel1
126 | Mark: Two narrative composition? | Mark | angel1 | 37396

128 | Was Satan speaking through Peter ?? | Mark 8:33 | angel1 | 40950
chearie,prayon,jerhovah52- If we check the amplified version the pictuire is more clear. Jesus' "rebuke" to Peter was in turning His back to him. Jesus then addresses Satan-not Peter. Satan was using Peter to try to talk Jesus out of completing His work. Jesus was always aware of activity in the spirit world as well as what was going on in the physical world. Cherie-I,m 100percent saved too and am being-sanctified-over time just as the pot is still being shaped by the potter. in Him angel1
129 | Why admit Two Prophets were not THERE? | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44178
Amen-raven--angel-1 | ||||||
130 | God's Kingdom Power comes near the SC | Mark 9:1 | angel1 | 44186
I think we must go to the KJV here--Mark8-32-38 sets the point of9-1-"Verily I say unto you-that there be some of THEM-that will not taste ofdeath until-----"we must make the distinction between His disciples and "them". Jesus knows always the spirits behind each person--these spirits will not "die" until Jesus comes again. in Him-angel-1
131 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 72873
Hi mommabps--it seems to me you are missing the key word here--"forgive"--it doesn't matter whether you "stand" or "go"-only that you "FORGIVE"--in HIM angel1
132 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 73035
Hi mommapbs--thanx for reply--I do not think that "sin" and "forgivness" are the "same" thing certainly-they exist together--Here is my personal understanding of why we must "forgive" for many years i wanted God to send my father to Hell for all that he did or allowed in my life---JESUS has shown me the HORROR of such a thought----to be forgiven and then wish for "anyone" to be seperated from HIS forgivness---we must get that His death was for every single soul-IN HIM angel 1
133 | why inspanish is it Go to pray not stand | Mark 11:25 | angel1 | 74730
Hi Mommpabs--thanks for reply.--I think we are on the same track-Thank God that we are still in the period of Grace!!!and that He is leading us to know His forgivness is for all--"while we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly"---in Him angel 1
134 | who was Simon of Cyrene | Mark 15:21 | angel1 | 41604
Hi prayon-What makes it "appear later"-that simon chose to take on the "spiritual meaning of the cross for himself" ? thx-angel-1
135 | who was Simon of Cyrene | Mark 15:21 | angel1 | 41790
Hi prayon- this was a question not an answer- I don't see where in scripture you got this idea. I don't mean to offend but this seems like a big stretch to me.in Him angel1
136 | baptism | Luke 3:3 | angel1 | 40262
RE; baptism--why were people going to John to be baptised? The old test. says the priests were to be cleansed but the general population were to be circumcised. Why were people coming to be baptised?--angel1
137 | baptism | Luke 3:3 | angel1 | 40370
thx for all replys--All replys have been based on todays knowledge. My question is about why the people THEN were following John--They had only the old testament. What led them to a knowledge that cleansing and repentance was necessary?--thx to all angel1
138 | Can I remarry and be forgiven by god | Luke 7:47 | angel1 | 72875
hi justme--I am wondering about the term"lone ranger christians" is it the same as "cowboy christians" ?--I don't think "cowboy "is all that bad. I question much of what "denomitions" do and so am viewed as "cowboy" by denomitations but find my truth in scripture not in churches-- it seems to me that we are the "bride" we who are borne again and that this "bride" is present throughout the world-- not in specific denomitions.n what do you see?--thanks angel 1
139 | Name two tavellers in Luke 24:13 | Luke 24:13 | angel1 | 40526
hi keith-Luke is the only one who tells us about Emmaus and the second disciple is not identified-we can only speculate. in Him angel1
140 | A Study of John's Gospel. | John 1:1 | angel1 | 40382
hi rainbow-I'd love to start a vs. by vs. study of John. His gospel seems to me the most relavent one in this day and -of course -the most in tune with God's spirit. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Praise His name. angel1
