tduplechain, I want to take time here to encourage you,brother the past few days you've probably had a lot put on your plate. Understand this,no one here at the forum is out to crucify you. None of us would be here today if not for what Jesus Christ did for every last one of us. If you had known me 8 years ago I was one of the most diabolical individuals you would never want to meet. So for me to say I wouldnt be here if not for Jesus Christ is a vast understatement. I'd be dead.Read 1 Timothy 6:13-16. We cant do this though if we're not doing 2 Timothy 2:15. We dont need to put our own twists on anything.Gods Word does fine on its own. 2Peter 1:20. Romans 15:4- All of Gods Word start to finish is to instruct us and encourage us. When we dont honor Gods Word in its entirety we do God we and ourselves great disservice. God knows your heart and he loves you and you know what,we gotta be loving each other too. Your brother in Christ, lionheart |

Goodmorning my brother. I've been following this thread almost from the beginning and there seems to be some confusion or intractability on the part of the originator. I will be perfectly clear from the get go here,this is not intended as an attack on anyone. I have a few scriptures that I pray will add some clarity to the situation. 2 Timothy 3:15,16 All scripture is God breathed, all scripture is profitable(Quote). From Gen 1:1 to Rev 22:21 It's all God breathed it's all profitable. Ro 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perserverance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. "nothing else comes close" interesting but not beneficial. To elevate one part of the Word and discount another is a disservice to God and we endanger ourselves. 2 Pt 1:20 let Gods Word speak for itself. It works. I pray that this is of benifit to anyone struggling with this situation. Always your brother lionheart |

1031 | GRAVE ESCATHOLOGICAL MORTIFICATION | 2 Tim 2:15 | lionheart | 141792 | ||
Good day my brothers and sisters. Here's a little something that may clear things up a little. 1 John 3:2 Beloved,now we are children of God,and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be.We know that ,when He appears,we shall be like Him, we shall see him just as he is. Not much for the imagination to speculate here. When Jesus wentback to the Father he went in a physical body albeit a Glorfied body. So when it comes down to our final disposition ( this is a general statement mind you because there is so much more in store for us.) it says we will be like him and that we will see him just as he is. Pretty powerful wouldnt ya say. IN Christ, lionheart. |

My brother I should be thanking you. Kalos(Honest) thats a good word. Something I am more grateful for than you will ever know. Prov 27:17 AS iron sharpens iron,so one man sharpens another. This is one verse I try to take to heart every day. I know you were'nt giving me a hard time. Yesterday was pretty itense in more ways than one. Confusion reigns when we dont pray.I gotta learn to be a prayer warrior. Gods kids need each other thats why He puts us in each others lives. God knew we would need lots of help to stay faithful. I really am grateful for the time you spent with me last night. As long as God allows me to draw breath I wont be hard to find. Always your brother, lionheart PS If you would like to drop me a line my E-mail address can be found in my character profile. It would be great to hear from you. |

Look I'm even starting to confuse myself here, of course the dates are not divinely inspired. But everything we have in the bible has it's place in history. The dates give us a general idea of when or where. I own a Thomson Chain Reference study bible At the beginning of each book in the left hand margin are references to authorship and dates where available. I hope I have not mucked this up to bad. Your brother in Christ, lionheart |

Look at the dates in which the books were written, it will make sence. The dates are self explanetory. ln Christ, lionheart PS I didnt say God placed things in or it wasnt my intention to say that God divinely determined the order of the books. The dates of the individual books can give us a good idea of what individuals may or may not have had available to them. Forgive me for not being more thorough. |

Thanku4mercy, Greetings. Job actually is considered by most scholars to be the oldest book in the bible. If you go back an look at the dates which the books in the OT were written you will see the diferent dates. After examining the dates you will then notice that the books of the Old Testament are not all necessarilly placed in chronilogical order. I do beleive the books of the bible were placed where God intended them to be. With this in mind it is very possible that the events in Job could have taken place before the time of Moses. I wont etch this in stone,but it does merit consideration. Look into it. Your brother in Christ, lionheart |
