101 | Is oral sex among a married couple a sin | Bible general Archive 1 | teragram123 | 55577
If it were not wrong, would so many Christians be in question over it? Not one single Christian has asked if sex between married partners is ok. Normal sex is God ordained. Obviously this "abnormal sex act" is wrong and the pure mind can not accept it as ok. Note that even in the animal kingdom this is not normal. They clean themselves but do not stimulate their mate orally before the act of sex. This filthy act came from the homosexual community and it is pitiful that Christians try to sanction it. Porn sites exploit this as the most exotic along with bestiality. It is unclean and does not exemplify Christ and His Bride in any sense of the imagination. Leviticus 7:21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the Lord, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. Leviticus 18:23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. |

Matthew 21:28-31 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. [29] He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. [30] And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. [31] Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Our confession of Christ is not enough, we must do His word. The son that said he would and did not did not do the fathers will only said he would. The other at first refused but than changed his mind and began to do the will of the Father. Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. |

105 | allegory of the silversmith | Zech 13:9 | teragram123 | 55570
This came to me as a email... very good alagory for this verse... THE SILVERSMITH There was a group of women in a Bible study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying Chapter 3, they came across Verse 3 which says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver". This verse puzzled the women and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the women offered to find out about the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible study. That week this woman called up a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention the reason for her interest in silver beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest so as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot, then she thought again about the verse that says "He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver." She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he had not only to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. For if the silver was left even a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered "That's the easy part, when I see my image reflected in it." If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep His hand on you and watch over you until He sees His image in you. --- Author unknown |

106 | where do you find permissive will of God | Not Specified | teragram123 | 55569
I can not find the permissive will of God in the Bible... can any one please tell me how this ever got started? These are the only verses I find with permit.. 1 Cor. 16:7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. Hebrews 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit. pitrepo, to turn over (transfer), i.e. allow :- give leave (liberty, license), let, permit, suffer. Isn't all sin the permissive will of God? Isn't it either God's will or my will... and if I want to do my will God allows it? Isn't that still rebellion against God's will and can I say He is my Lord if I do not obey Him. |

108 | What is the meaning of "line upon line" | Is 28:10 | teragram123 | 55565
1 Cor. 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. [14] If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [15] If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Luke 6:48-49 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. [49] But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. In the beginning God... all truths rest upon this bedrock... Christ is that Rock one truth (line) must rest upon a truth previous to it... Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? 1 Cor. 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. Christ knew that if they would not receive Moses words... He had nothing to build on in their faith.... John 5:45-47 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. [46] For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. [47] But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? this is the very reason cults are so difficult to witness to.. they define words differently than the Christian and you can’t build upon their “truth” |

112 | If any man destroys the temple | 1 Cor 3:16 | teragram123 | 55547
have you consider this verse? Ezekiel 3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. God still hates sin... the way of cleansing is made simple by Christ Blood, confess and be cleansed - never the less God will still not tolerate sin in the Christians life. Galatians 6:7-9 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. [9] And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. |

113 | unfaithfulness the unpardonable sin? | Not Specified | teragram123 | 55546
Why has Christians made unfaithfulness the unpardonable sin? Scriptures say there is only one sin that we or God do not have to forgive... yet thousands refuse to forgive their mates for unfaithfulness and than turn and marry another that has left their marriage for the same "sin"... yet they forgive them and get married. Why can't the same grace of forgiveness be given to the "wife of thy youth"? |

115 | Why do some pastors disobey Jesus? | Matt 19:9 | teragram123 | 55545
1 Cor. 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: [11] But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. No sin is unpardonable accept one - Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Even if he was unfaithful to his vows during separation... Christians are given the ministry of reconciliation... by grace given us we can and should forgive others...no matter the sin. 2 Cor. 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; charis, Greek 5485, Strong's - the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; Many say I can't forgive them... but that is where we need nore grace... divine influence in the heart reflecting into our lives. Philip. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. If we want grace toward our sin - we must be willing to extend grace toward another's sin as well. Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Marriage is a sacred institution in God's eyes. Sad to say, too many profession Christians today refuse to forgive unfaithfulness of a spouse, but if they themselves are unfaithful, they plead grace for themselves. Unfaithfulness is not the unpardonable sin but the liberal minded Christian has made it so unless it of course is their own unfaithfulness... than we hear about the power of God's grace to forgive them! Matthew 10:8 ... freely ye have received, freely give. Back to the original translation from the Greek... fornication is spoken of in the passage... not adultery. Liberal views say it is adultery so they can divorce their mate. Jesus did not give a reason except Hardness of the heart and un-forgiveness toward the mate. Joseph was about to use this "law" to put Mary away before being stopped by the Holy Spirit...He assumed that her virginity had been taken since she was pregnant. The fornication he assumed referred to Deut. 22:13-21 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, [14] And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: [15] Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: [16] And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; [17] And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. [18] And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; [19] And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. [20] But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: [21] Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you. No one was ever to marry a non virgin.. Leviticus 21:14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife. Deut. 22:28-29 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; [29] Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. Only the cause of “fornication” was the excuse for divorce... but than Christ dismissed even that reason... no reason for un-forgiveness and hardness of heart... forgive as you yourself have received forgiveness or if he took her virginity, he was to marry her Why has Christians made unfaithfulness the unpardonable sin? |

Abdias, declareth that under his execution Nero sent two of his esquires, Ferega and Parthemius, to bring him word of his death. They, coming to Paul instructing the people, desired him to pray for them, that they might believe; who told them that shortly after they should believe and be baptised at His sepulcher.
