101 | Workout your own salvation | Rom 1:18 | Radioman | 20666
You write: "Now why we have to workout for our own salvation if our life is designed already?" You may not have intended to, but you have dangerously misquoted the Scripture. The Bible says work *out* your own salvation. It does NOT say work *for* your salvation. |

102 | Who were the witnesses? | Bible general Archive 1 | Radioman | 20634
With all respect, could you give an example or two of where the Left Behind series is a misleading interpretation of the scriptures? I have read every book in the series. I don't say I agree with every last interpretation of the authors. And I know there is some criticism of the theology of the books. But I would be interested to hear a couple of examples from you and how it is that they are misleading. Thank you. |

schwartzkm: In all sincerity, thank you for a very interesting post. However, I need clarification on something you wrote. Systamtic Theology. "Systamtic" is not a word that I am familiar with. Also, I could not find the word in the dictionary. Could you please define the word "Systamtic' in order to clarify your meaning. I won't know whether I agree or disagree with you until I know what the word means. Thank you. |

108 | What was "language of the whole earth"? | Genesis | Radioman | 20614
"Why is “language and words” both used in this sentence? This seams redundant." This is not necessarily redundant. The Bible often uses parallelism to state the same truth in different words as in a couplet from Psalms or Proverbs. "Could language mean something else? Such as a religion?" We know what the Bible means by what it says. Language means language. Religion means religion. I don't know of any original language word that is translated sometimes as language and others times as religion. "Gen 11:6 “Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”" "Did this change the way people worshiped the Lord?" It is doubtful that the people who were building the tower of Babel were worshiping the Lord to begin with. "Was this the beginning of different religions?" No, this would be the beginning of different languages. Hope this helps. |

110 | Who dose not belive in the TERM Trinity? | Bible general Archive 1 | Radioman | 20603
Try the Jehovah's Witnesses. They don't believe in the Trinity either. BTW, there is no organization that rejects the essential doctrine of the Trinity that can still call itself Christian. |
