Hi Searcher, Good point! Have you noticed how many never respond with a comment to the answers they are given? Some times I wonder if they really know how when they are presented with the e-mail notice from the forum. Maybe better instructions would be in order if the forum is to keep things rolling? CDBJ |

102 | John 19:25-27 | Bible general Archive 4 | CDBJ | 222064
It's in the Old Testament: Psalm 22:6-8 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying, 8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. |

103 | what took place between noah and God | Genesis | CDBJ | 222063
Hi BMyres, I think it was part of the first question that the poster wanted in to affirm his thought since the answer came only two minutes after the first post. I’ve puller the trigger a little too quickly myself at times and it’s like bullets; one can’t bring them back once they are fired, CDBJ |

104 | who are the chosen,elect, and faithfull? | Col 1:2 | CDBJ | 222032
Greetings, this agrees with your summation. This is from Revelation Commentary that is free and available on the Internet. http://www.revelationcommentary.org/ Revelation 17:14 (1) These will wage war against the Lamb, and (2) the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and (3) those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. 1. These will wage war against the Lamb indicates the purpose or mind of the ten kings. They are united in their attitudes toward the Lamb. The attack of the ten kings against the Lamb is not specially detailed, but they must gather with the nations to Armageddon. 2. The Lamb will overcome them signals defeat for the ten kings and the beast. The title "Lord of lords and King of kings" is applied to the Lamb here and the rider on the white horse in Revelation 19:16. 3. Those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful is an unusual occurrences in the Revelation. Called (klatos) and chosen (eklektos) occur only here in the Revelation. Both words occur together in Matthew 22:14. These are clearly the saints of the ages. It is not explicitly stated what the role of the Lamb’s accomplices is. CDBJ |

105 | Prove that you have the Holy ghost? | 1 Cor 12:10 | CDBJ | 221996
Speaking in tongues doesn't prove anything: here is the real proof. Ephes. 1:12-13 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Those that don’t know if the have the Holy Spirit haven’t truly believed in Christ. It’s a work that God does only with those that have “fully trusted” in the finished work of Christ, and those that don’t have this sealing don’t understand something that they have never had and only God can make it real to them when He seals them! 106 | Why apostle Paul identifies rock | 1 Cor 10:4 | CDBJ | 221988
There aren't any Jews that really believe what Moses taught; if they did there would be a temple in Jerusalem where they could have their sin covered as was commanded to Moses in the Old Testament. Leviticus 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses. Here are the words of a true Jew. Romans 10:1-9 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. You say that it shouldn’t matter, is that by your standards or the Lord’s? Do you agree with the following? 2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: If you agree you are out of line, if you don’t agree "you" are out of touch! 108 | In the beginning | Gen 1:1 | CDBJ | 221738
Greetings Beja, The whole crux of the difference in thesis resides in the exact usage of the Hebrew word “tohu wabbohu” found in Genesis 1:2. We know that God is perfect and He doesn’t create things that are imperfect, as tohu wabbohu implies. There is a marked contrast in the Hebrew between verse one and verse two, which is not implied in the English language, the sum of which has been deeply looked into by students of the languages at Dallas Theological Seminary and brought to the forefront in the book that I suggested. It sheds light on the ”hoax” of theistic evolution and at the same time answers the question of the prehistoric forms of the past and it all ties together without contradiction. CDBJ |

Greetings, You might want to check out the following: Job 38:4-7 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? The angles sang for joy when God created the Earth so that puts a little different slant on the time of their creation from the way I see it. CDBJ |

Greetings, The answer is found in the original language of the Hebrew which if I would quote it you wouldn’t understand anyway. It would be easer on both of us if you would just call and have them send you a copy of the “FREE” booklet then you can read it, and it is broken down word for word and you can see it for yourself. I found it to be quite informative and it answered numerous questions that I could never find the answers to. I had to read it “several” times before it all came together. Here is the phone number (713) 621-3740) tell them you would like to have a copy of, Creation, Chaos, and Restoration ISBN 1-55764-012-2 CDBJ |

112 | In the beginning | Gen 1:1 | CDBJ | 221682
Greetings, God’s Word in its original form and language is inspired by God but there are numerous translations that have a tendency to mislead the intended meaning due to poor or incorrect translation into English. Example: Luke 21:22 (NEW LIVING TRANSLATION) For those will be days of God's vengeance, and the prophetic words of the Scriptures will be fulfilled. The Koine Greek word for God is THEOS and it isn’t even found in Luke 21:22 and there are many that believe this is a reference to the work of Satan in the later days that points to the following. Rev. 12:12 "For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time." CDBJ |

114 | is it possible for Jesus to have sinned? | Heb 4:15 | CDBJ | 221186
Hi Brad, Great post! I’ve done some thinking on this subject with the following in mind from the Latin, “Not able to sin and able not to sin”. I think the zinger spells it out in the book of James. James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. The word enticed, in the English, is from the Koine Greek word, DELEAZOMENOS, meaning to entice, as with a lure used in fishing. Our lust patters come to us from the old sin nature residing within our flesh or bodies. Since Jesus Christ didn’t have an old sin nature, due to the fact that He was not born from the seed of Adam, I classify the temptation in the wilderness as a “satanic fishing party” because Christ didn’t have any lust patterns therefore He didn’t fall for the bait. Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Satan threw everything he had at Christ and the lures didn’t work: Namely, the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Jesus used the offensive weapon, the sword of the Spirit, i.e. the Word of God to defeat the attacks, which shows us that we can do the same thing with the knowledge of Bible doctrine residing in our soul, combined with the filling of the Spirit. 1 Cor. 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,------ that ye may be able to bear it. The function of the shield of faith and the Sward of the Spirit. My spin on it, CDBJ |

115 | ... | Phil 3:13 | CDBJ | 221126
Greetings, Can you back all of that up with chapter and verse from the Bible seeing that the “following is biblical” and factual? 2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: The New Testament was originally written in Koine Greek which meant a common Greek that all Greek speaking people could understand. I speak a little English but I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t got a clue about what you have posted and how it remotely relates to the Bible!! I hate to appear dumb but could you please expatiate using Scripture as your basis? John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. CDBJ |

116 | will there be animals in heaven | Bible general Archive 4 | CDBJ | 220693
Hi Doc, I agree with your answer with the exception of the reference to horses that are mentioned in Revelation. There is a book out called, “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn that has really been a blessing to me; I love animals and he points out verses that expound on the fact that animals will be with us where we will be spending eternity with the Lord. Col. 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. The Lord saw fit to make all of the animals that we know of now, why would He do any different when he creates a new heaven and a new earth. It pleased Him the first time and all of creation is waiting for the new creation including the animals. Romans 8:22-23 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. The Lord might even bless us with our precious pets that have passed on and that not because of anything they have done but because of man’s sin. It’s a possibility that could come to fruition and they could be with us again. I might end up with black cat hair all over my nice white rob but I’ll love it! CDBJ |

117 | Revelation 20:15 | Revelation | CDBJ | 220524
Greetings Aileen, Your statement in part, “I would tell the Lord I have believed in Him all of my life” That’s a rather hard thing to do since we are actually born physically alive but at the same time we are born spiritually dead thus the need to be born again. There has to be a point a some time in your life when your experienced the following John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Couple that with the following. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Are you “absolutely sure” that you would have eternal life with God after you take your last breath on this side of heaven or is this something that you don’t have “absolute positive proof of as yet”, and you are hoping for? Your connotation of the word repent might make a big difference with regards to the Bible’s meaning and it’s better to be safe then sorry. What is your estimation of the word repent? Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast. Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Have you experienced the action of the previous verse? Many “assume” that they have salvation because of something they have done but they aren’t positively sure when it come right down to it, i.e. they haven’t received the proof of the witness of the Holy Spirit. 1 John 5:10 (A) He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; They are literally sealed by God Himself when they truly believe. Ephes. 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Just trying to help, CDBJ |

Hi Aileen, I didn’t mean to get you all confused, lets try this a different way. This is hypothetical, but lets say if you were to die tomorrow and you found yourself standing face to face with the Lord and He were to say to you; Aileen why should I let you come into my Kingdom? What do you think you would say to Him? That’s an awesome thought and you are the only one that knows what you yourself would personally say. Now I haven’t used scripture to put you on the spot as it were, so how would you answer or what would be your reply? Don’t panic, it’s just hypothetical anyway, CDBJ |

Hi Again Aileen, When the Bible speaks of believing in Jesus, Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. What, in “your estimation, is it actually asking me to do if anything when compared to the following verse? James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. CDBJ |
