101 | Relationships | 2 Cor 6:14 | NightJay0044 | 161183
Hi, what do you do if your with your girlfriend whom you love and care about, but she does not like to be corrected and she can sometimes be manipulative and controlling because she is (19) and I'm (23). Don't get me wrong everyone, I'm not putting down my girlfriend here in anyway she's a loving person with a good heart. Lets just say when things don't go her way it's one of those deals her attitude changes instantly like the wind and it's almost impossible to get her to actually listen to you like a loving person should. How do you help that when you don't want to leave her and you beleive better for her? Thank you. |

103 | Honest Scales | 2 Cor 8:21 | NightJay0044 | 177583
What if I'm in a situation where I feel I should be honest, but it's not my choice, it involves 3 other poeple? Basically my girlfriend is friends with this couple whom she knows well. The guy in the couple currently has a girlfriend, and which I dont know if he is still with his other girlfriend that I think he has. Now my girlfriend says that she doesn't know if the girl in the couple knows that they are broken up, or if the guy in the couple is still with her or still wants to be with her. This seems really fishy to me. See I dont want to confront anybody and have something else come up that wasent true. So do I confront the source of the problem or the person that could get hurt? Because my girlfriend says she'll do something about it, but I think I kind of doubt that, because she said "she wants to catch him off gaurd". Yeah right....if you know the truth you tell it.. My grandma suggested that you goto the source which is the guy in the couple before you goto the person that might get hurt but not for certain yet. Jason |

Hi good day to you. Today I came across when Jesus said make each thought captive to him. Meaning that we refuse to allow other peoples approval and disapproval of the things of Christ to cloud our judgement and such? Basically don't let otthers discourage you from the truth or what's right? Thank you all.. |

105 | forgiveness | 2 Cor 13:5 | NightJay0044 | 189302
hi all, well today I come because I wish to seek the way of forgiveness. I still love my ex girlfriend and I can give her the gift of forgiveness, but I have some focused questiones that I need help with.. 1) If I forgive, great, but what does that mean towards the other person? "because the other person acted in infedelity" and I'm willing to look past that. 2) What is the process of forgiveness? 3) Does forgiving someone mean that they can still act in the same ways that hurt you before, or how does that work? Thanks all, God bless, it's just I really want things to work between my ex and I and I need some help from God first... |

106 | Ten Commandments | Gal 3:24 | NightJay0044 | 161525
Hi, today is about the Ten Commandments. It says we must keep these all. What are we to do if we don't keep atleast one of those and we gave our life to Jesus, are we sapose to repent and ask for forginess and move on towards God more if we were to do one? What if we do one and then do it again, do we just keep on asking for forginess and repent? Is that really keeping the Ten Commandments, and will we really get into heaven then, if we don't keep some of them? Thank You |

107 | Believing in Faith | Gal 5:22 | NightJay0044 | 160648
Hi, okay, I've been thinking abou this all day, and it's about Faith. I want to see if people can understand where I'm coming from, or correct me if I'm wrong. But as I'm understanding that faith is something that "YOU" believe in right? Not something your friend believes in that you want to believe, just because your friend does. Faith requires "YOUR" belief not anything else, is that correct? So that is why others can't save you, only you can be saved if you believe in Jesus Christ. Because everybody is a sinner and they cannot save you, no matter how much we might not want to hear that truth, but it's only through us and Jesus we can be saved with our belief. If someone could converse that with me in there own opinion and belief, and please don't post any like biblical passages, unless it has to do with faith and what it means. So I just kind of want your belief in this matter. Thanks for your time. Jason |

108 | Freedom | Gal 5:24 | NightJay0044 | 161563
Hi my question today comes from "Galatians 5". It talks abou the "law", does this mean the ten commandments? So does it say that we should not follow the law, but follow Christ? But isn't Christ and the law the same and can't we follow both? IF that's what it's talking about? Thank You. |

109 | The Truth when confronted | Eph 4:15 | NightJay0044 | 173393
Hi, I have a question about truth or actually it's more of a belief I have, or a saying/quote.. I also want to see if the bible references this somewhere or somehow that we can understand. The quote is: "The truth will save you no matter the consequences". I'm talking about the spiritual sense. I mean even in this world sense too. Because if you lie when someone asks you something just to save their feelings. I don't think that's too right...Becuase if your asked a direct honest question about something you should give a direct honest answer back no matter what. Not saying you need to go around just telling people without being asked saying stuff to hurt their feelings. I'm talking about when you a confronted with the truth and you need to reply, respond and answer. Does everyone know where I'm coming from here? Well anyways, if you could reference me some wisdom and knowledge on this that could support this..Thank you... Jason |

110 | God's Love | Eph 5:1 | NightJay0044 | 161261
Hi, in order to follow God we must learn love, and love is something that we must sacrifice for ourselves if we want to learn true love? Thank You |

111 | 1st commandment | Eph 5:15 | NightJay0044 | 161203
My question today has to do with the first commandment. 1) You shall not have any other Gods before me. Here is a source I found from a website that talked about what this meant. " Is God first in your life? Do you love God above all else? Many years ago, I purchased a T.V. for our children, but the first evening we had it, I arrived home from work and found that they didn't even bother to greet me. They were too busy watching television. I turned it off and explained to them that if they ignored me because they preferred to watch T.V. they were setting their love on the gift rather then the giver, a wrong order of affections. In the same way, if we love anything--husband, wife, children or even our own lives--more than we love God, we are setting our affection on the gift rather than the Giver, which is a transgression of the First Commandment. (Matt. 10:37) So if we were to watch TV should we need to remember God or ask is okay to watch this and wait to see what he says? Thank You |

113 | Rejoicing in The Lord | Phil 4:4 | NightJay0044 | 200143
Hi, rejoicing in the Lord always is something is a great command to do. It seems a little extreme to do it but again that's where the definition comes from, part of it anyways. Rejoice is an emotion; I'll give the definition of rejoice, to show you what I mean. Rejoice: to feel joy or great delight. And joy is: the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires : delight b: the expression or exhibition of such. How are we to do this always as Phillipians 4:4 says, "4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice." Sometimes it always doesn't feel right to be in a great delight mood and thinking pattern. But is this what the Lord is telling us to do? Rejoice in Jesus Christ always? The thing that comes to mind is is it always right to always be joyful 24hours a day? Thank you, God bless. I know my question is to the point and straight forward, but just trying to understand more. |

114 | Respecting and Neighbors | Phil 4:6 | NightJay0044 | 173449
Hi everyone, i just would like to say, you guys are really prompt when asnwering question and very fast. Thanks for all your help...I'm looking for help or right and wrong feelings on what to do in this issue that just arised. I'll lay down some basic facts here about the situation. 1) I live with my mom in a 3 story condo/apartment. 2) Were on the 2nd floor and we have neighbors below us. 3) These neighbors below us are angry with us, because they say we make too much noise. 4) The carpet that we have on this floor when we first moved in was new carpet but with not much padding so it's like they can hear us walk around even when we just do regular foot steps as a normal person would do in their house. 5) They say that we make too much noise and that they hear everything we do and it wakes their daughter up all the time when were up at night whether if were up at 12am or 3am.... 6) The neighbors downstairs are 1 mom and 1 daugter. The daugeter is below me. 7) Today the mom from downstair was really angry with us and she I guess had a nice yelling talk with my mom about how much noise we make and it wakes her daughter up. 8) My mom said there is nothing really we can do about it expect be more carefull about what we do. but it's not like were not going to move at all when the sun goes down and not do things because it's the carpet that's why it makes so much noise. Because we don't have a problem hearing the 3rd floor people above us because they have padding on their carpet. 9) Basically, the lady downstairs is really angry with us and tells us how hard she works and was trying to guilt my mom and making her feel bad or something and basically what she wants us to do, is if she says "sit" we "sitdown". 10) I say, well okay we'll be more carefull about what we do but there are some things we just can't help and I know that's not what the downstairs neighbors are going to realize...Because when we accidently drop things at night even if it's like 9PM or 10PM, the downstairs neighbors make a huge loud thump on their cieling, to show us that they herd what we were doing and they are mad about it. You know.. What does the bible say about this kind of situations about neighbors? I know it says love your neighbors as thyself. Could you reply with your own feelings and thoughts on this as well with bible passeges on what would be the right thing to do in this situation? Because apart of me just wants to go downstairs and talk to the lady and give her my perspective and not be mean to her but just let her know what I think about it... kind of long story but thanks for your help. |

115 | Origin of feelings | Phil 4:8 | NightJay0044 | 191703
Hi, does the Lord say where feelings come from and how to turn them into the goodness of what they're supposed to be? If it's thinking, how come it seems like that thinking has no effect on feelings when you try and change it and it seems like your eyes are directing your thoughts and feelings? Thank you, God bless... Jason |

117 | Relationship with Jesus | Col 3:17 | NightJay0044 | 161053
Hi, today I want to ask about having a relationship with Jesus. Since everything in life is meaningless if we don't do it for the glory and for Jesus. Say if I were to watch TV and I simply said "Jesus I'm doing this for you". Is that enough? How are you really saposed to have the kind of a relationship with everything you do? |
