okay, but it doesn't say anywhere that we have to go to church, right? I don't have any problem with church I just don't think one has to have church to believe, worship or have relationship with God...I think the spiritual church is the most important. Some people in the world probably don't have a church to go to...so they are still accounted as Christians if they believe, right? Peace, tremere (Sister) |

I didn't say I was being taught by Spirit however that's how it works...and I don't think the Word is funny little word play...I asked for your help! Jesus is eternal as He is God but Jesus in the flesh had to be created... John 1 :4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1 :9, 10 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. Genesis 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light", and there was light....if you go back to Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. All I know is God said "let there be light" Who is referred to as the Light?...Jesus is! Do we not all have the Holy Spirit in us who believe in Jesus?...Do you think you have to be taught by men when this was written in your heart...I can give you Scripture on that...Why are you seemingly so defensive? Did I offend you? If so, I didn't mean to. Sincerely, Tremere (Sister) |

5 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 68013
You have to have church for that? It says "assembling together" it doesn't say church specifically... 1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Cor 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. Peace and Sincerest Apologies to you my Elder, Tremere (Sister) |

Again in Matthew 1:20 "...for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. I guess...I always thought the Holy Spirit was of God or was a projection of God...Let me put it this way...The only entity's origin I ever wondered about was God's origin! Jesus Christ is God and is also God's Son...spirtually speaking!...so help me out here, I thought everyone knew that God created everything through Jesus...Jesus being the light...help me! Peace, Tremere (Sister) |

7 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 68009
How can you say God didn't create Jesus? I can find all the Scripture that says God created everything...but let me start here Hebrews 2:17,18 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people...for in that He himself has suffered, being temted. He is able to aid those who are tempted. It says "he had to be made..." who do you think made him?...especially when we know that He was God in the flesh? I can find Scripture for that too...How bout this.. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. God made us...God also made Himself in the flesh..yes? Peace, Tremere (Sister) |

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. James 3:1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. Peace! |

9 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 68004
Well...it was more finger pointing and assuming then just asking me for Biblical proof...If someone had asked, I would have kindly supported my opinions and would not have gotten do defensive...but I apologize to you and others who had to see that and I am sorry to God that I allowed that demon to overtake me...I did find some verses relevent to what you were asking...I'll give you this one first... 1 John 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. okay one more... Hebrews 3:16 For who having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? Peace, Tremere (Sister) |
||||||
10 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 68003
As I have said before I read the Bible everyday...I also do studies on it...but I believe this verse Hebrews 8:10,11 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be My people. "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'know the Lord,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. also...Hebrews 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. and...Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has not entered the Holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; and especially this...Hebrews 3:6 but Christ as Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. Now here's were I say "I believe" and everyone gets upset....I believe that this Scripture and many other verses tell us that the true Church of God is not in a building made with hands but is us when we agree...and I do feel (uh oh I said I feel) that everyone's walk with God is very personal and very secret in that it's supposed to be between you and God only...not that you are not supposed to shine your light but one does not have to be in church to shine...most people in church are already saved! I do not think bad of those who go to church regularly...and I have gone many times before and intend to again...but I do not say that one must have church to have a relationship with God...Peace! Tremere (Sister) |
||||||
11 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 68001
Thank you for that and I would like all here to know...not just you cause you already get it.... 1 John 14:15 Whoever confessess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abodes in him, and he in God. I believe that I made mention of that in my profile...peace to you all! Tremere (Sister) |

12 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67944
Hank asked me if I was saying That God made Jesus...I think the scripture I gave prooves that...and I can find more...Yes, Jesus as God is eternal...but Jesus was made in the flesh right? And the problem didn't come until Hank decided to be rude and instead of asking me...he just pointed his finger...Also, if I would not have been forced to find Scripture to back up my answers...I would have posted some that were more inline with what I had said originally...I didn't feel like I had a lot of time...I have reread all the answers I've given to people so far and, honestly, I don't see how they are offbase or nonChristian or without biblical basis...and, as I've said before....some of us will not agree about what a peticular verse means...that doesn't mean I won't give proof from now on...I feel like I should not even talk to any of you until I get chapters and verses ready first...If my answers were nearly correct...then I guess you have to proove to me with Scripture how I'm wrong...isn't that the rule here...So, please do that...help me see where I am wrong and misleading...I didn't just come here to try to help others but to possibly be helped myself..
13 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67904
It is your opinion that asking if you called me Satan is personal abuse!...As for my opinions...proove me wrong but, in this forum, you better use Scripture to do it...I'll wait
14 | Praise the Lord! | Exodus | tremere123@comcast.net | 67902
Why do you speak of yourself in the third person? If you do all in your power to make sure that only people speak from Scripture...which I didn't know was your job...then why do you have notes that don't have Scriptual references? And you make a good point...you don't know me personally...so instead of pointing out my lack of references and, by the way, there are many others who don't give them...your falling down on the job, why did you not just ASK ME???? You tell me who I mislead....you tell me what I said that was not, at least, biblically correct and you proove it to me with Scriptual Proof....I did not unjustly accuse you...And what you call "unfounded opinion" IS YOUR OPINION...I answered those questions because I felt that I knew the answer and could offer some food for thought and as I said...I told them it was my opinion or belief or theory because I am honest! When you give scriptual references to explain or back up an answer it is because you understood that verse to be saying what it was saying...you formed a theory or belief or theory about...not everyone agrees what certain verses mean and many people, even Christians, have different views on the meaning of the Word...we all have opinions and theories and I never said that I was against giving scripture verification and in some instances I did...if I didn't I usually directed the person to the Scripture for him or herself....Tell me, Hank, how did I mislead anyone...I led them to the Word...I see you have been on a soapbox a number of times....why are you being a hypocrite and further cementing the nonbeliever's perception that Christians are the most judgmental people there are. I insist that you are the accuser on this topic...you are the hypocrite, the judgmentalist Sadducee...You have been allowed to air your opinions, your assumptions on people...why is it okay for you and not for me? Who are you and where do you come from? Going to and fro on the earth maybe? Where did I get that from? If I say things that are biblically based maybe I have read the Bible...maybe I haven't, maybe I just now looked that up....but don't assume and incriminate people that you don't know! Be careful to entertain strangers for in doing so you may have unwittingly entertained angels! Is that biblical, Hank, cause I wouldn't know...I must just make things up! Go look in the Word yourself! |

I was reported to the owner of the forum and sent an Advisory Notice...How can you say the majority here is not here to work out their theories? There are people with questions about biblical matters...some don't necessitate scripture but a person with biblical knowledge to explain to them in laymen terms the answer...which I call...my theory, my belief, my opinion...even if I do give ch. and verse I may say that it is my understanding of that verse and, in essence, giving out the ch. and verse to answer a question... you are actually giving your own opinion of what that verse means....we all do not agree because we are not all on the same spiritual level...that's why some ask more and some answer more...Does this not make sense to anyone? I can be very specific and detailed without giving ch. and verse...but okay! I see he importance of it here...I, too, hold a very high view of Scripture and hate that I have to defend that here...I don't have enough years of wisdom I guess. Sister |

17 | Can a born again sin as they did before? | 1 John 1:8 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67876
BradK, I would explain what I meant about "falling" and "if you never repent"...but really what you want is not my explanation but Scripture...so, by tommorrow I will do that....I'm wondering...did you notice that I also said to Johnny that I would find him more Scripture on the subject or did you miss that part? Listen please, and hopefully many will read this...I am not one of those people who can just spout out chapters and verses...I have been in the Bible for years but, I guess, I'm not good with remembering numbers but moreso I remember the story in the passage or the lesson or the understading I got from it...I read it everyday at work and, sometimes at home...coworkers think I'm a religious fanatic...I don't care what they think or anyone else...but I hate that I cannot speak about my understanding or my theories about the Bible with fellow Christians...in order to learn something you have to come to conclusions about it, you get a theory about it, you search to proove to yourself-first- that you are correct...we are all on different spirtual paths...I work everyday and get up at 4AM...I have already spent a couple hours in this forum trying to further defend myself...I'd like to spend time with my son, but I will give you chapters and verses as soon as possible...Under different circumstances I would've answered you differently...I would have tried to explain myself...but as I said, that's not what you want. Tremere (Sister) |

18 | Can a born again sin as they did before? | 1 John 1:8 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67872
Johnny, You still are a fleshly human being...you are still tempted and have to be in the world after being saved...After being reborn, you will have more of a tendency to be offended by what is evil or against God and have more of a drive to live the right way and to be a servant of God...However, you can still fall and if you never repent (especially after knowing God) you will be condemned...I will find you more Scripture for this if you'd like!? Sister (Tremere) |

20 | Can a born again sin as they did before? | 1 John 1:8 | tremere123@comcast.net | 67869
Notice that I said "stumble"....I didn't say kill someone and I did not mean that...What I meant was that when you become born again you will not be perfect. God will still need to work on you. Philippians 3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: I suggest that you read the rest of that chapter or the whole book and also consider the Apostle Judas Iscariot...he sat at the Last Supper with Jesus yet he betrayed Jesus into the hands of His crucifiers...Please let me know if you need scripture reference on that or anything! |
