1 | Do we go to Heaven after thousand years? | Gen 1:1 | puzzler46 | 209654
You are referring to Rev20:5 But the rest did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Continue on verse 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall reign with Him a thousand years. verse 7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison. The war will continue till the end of time. The devil and his agents have always wanted a kingdom here on earth. Whether that will occur or not is uncertain but the devil is deceitfull and uses any and all means to achieve his purpose. There are three views to this passage Symbolic - Christ resurrections victory over Satin reigns through his Church. The historical and dispensational belive it is a literal reign of Christ on earth. Unitl Christ's death we were held under the laws demands of perfection Col2:10 He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. John12:31-33 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. When Satin is released 1 Timothy states 4:1 that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hipocirtial liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and abstain from certain foods. 2 Timothy 3:1 There will be terrible times in tha last days. People will be lovers of themselves,....etc I myself believe Christ doesn't have to have a visible return to bind Satin and begin his reign. Through the Spirit he has enabled me to go to God the Father and given me heaven on earth through trials and tribulations. I don't believe he needs to return twice once to die and once to reign thus permitting people to delay their resonse to God's call and to repentance. |

2 | confused about Noahs son | Gen 9:22 | puzzler46 | 209655
Ham went outside to tell his brothers about Noah's nackedness. He wasn't willing to cover up his own father. Think about it Noah drunk my land what was he thinking? But to tell the truth where ever Noah went their were dead bodies. They didn't bury themselves. A good strong wind surely would be enough to send anyone staggering. Ever been to the lake with ripe dead fish? As Christ is our covering so was this an example of what sin seeks - the uncovering of anothers sin and the broadcasting of such.
