2 | script on burial/ cremeation, how / why | Bible general Archive 3 | lorenzosjb | 179338
One can think that cremation is not correct because of the way the Israelites buried their people and never cremate them. Also we can see that pagan cultures cremate their death ones as a part of the going to heaven. And also interesting to see is that Egiptian take organs from the death also contrary to Israelites that leave the body only putting perfume and oil to the bodies. Regards, Lorenzo |

5 | Can doctrine make us lausy christians? | John 17:17 | lorenzosjb | 147511
I am sorry, I don't want to create controversy in any form. My question is because Christianity has become much very different from the time of the Early Christians, and I want to know what role does human doctrine had on this impact. Now people read more about Self Guide Books than the Bible. Sorry if I upset you or any of the Forum, In Christ, Lorenzo |

Can doctrine make us lausy christians? I think Once Saved Always Saved doctrine can make us mediocre christians. Do you think our commodity christianity is the worst thing Satan had done? Early christians where very close to God because of the persecutions, etc. In Christ, Lorenzo |

Dear CiY: Thanks for the reply. It is true that grace is the gift from God to apart us from ethernal doom. I am more interested in studying 2 Cor 12:9, because I think the Grace is more than a seal. It is something that lives inside us and transfor us from the inside Out: is Live Love of God, Christ in the form of the Holy Spirit. Blessings, Lorenzo |

Is the Holy Spirit the light that Jesus told us to be in Matthew 5:14-16? Blessings, Lorenzo |

11 | The names of the bible are wrong? | Not Specified | lorenzosjb | 136094
Hi, I have several questions about the bible. Why the "Book of James", is not called "Book of Jacob"? It is true that the names and places in the Bible have been changed and aren't using the correct Hebrew names? For example, "The Book of Matthew" should be called "The book of Mattityah"? Thanks, Lorenzo Jiménez |

16 | Greek meaning of Rom 5:4, proven charact | Rom 5:4 | lorenzosjb | 135874
Hi, I am studying Romans 5:4. When I arrive to "proven character" (Strong’s G1382), it’s says experience, proof, trial. NASB and Amplified says proven character, a very different from my point of view, because experience does not necessarily give a proven character, or proof because IMHO, is going to take place or is taking place, and proven character is all the process to finally succeeding in the proof. Please explain, Thanks and God Bless, Lorenzo |

18 | What is the correct way to pray | Not Specified | lorenzosjb | 132382
In latin america more and more often we see people saying public prays with words like: "By the authority of God", "Receive the blow of the Holy Ghost" (the preacher blows to the audience, "Receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit". TV channels like Enlace (sort of TBN spanish channel) asks for money in exchange of blessings: "believe God and what you give to the ministry will multiply!?" So is there a complete study of how to pray? As we are new born in Jesus, do we need to seek and follow only what is in the New Testament? Thanks, and sorry for the grammar. Lorenzo Jimenez |

20 | Galatians 3:19: ordained through angels? | Not Specified | lorenzosjb | 125599
Hi, Galatians 3:19 NASB, says: "Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made". My question is about "ordained through angels". What does it means?. I thinked the Law was given only by God Himself. Thanks, Lorenzo Jimenez |
