1 | Resurrection on Saturday v/s Mark 16:1 | Mark 16:1 | jflefel | 238848
Some people affirm that Jesus was resurrected on Saturday, which make a lot of sense if we take the tradition out of the scenario and follow the New Testament as it was written in the original Greek. But, this text seams to be proving that these women where keeping the Sabbath as Jews do, other way why they needed to wait till the Sabbath was over to purchase the spices. Is there any explanation for it?

Thank you for your comment, I have considered all the different cultural rules regarding the day and night, but my question is assuming Jesus resurrection on Sabbath morning (as the starting of the second half of that Sabbath). A possible answer is that there were two Sabbath in place, one the normal one (according God's Law) and the other a ceremonial one (according Moses Law), and it was the ceremonial one that fits on Sunday. Then the women visited the tomb on Sunday, but maybe Jesus was already resurrected on Saturday.
