Ephesians Chapter 3 will also provide "insight" to how faith is increased. You will see that threw the journey of ones life faith is increased threw the tribulation, trials of life. The people who have faith know that the truth that Jesus spoke and good deeds that he did, was all the "Proof" they needed when Jesus walked the Earth. Sense we take the journey in life to learn, we also earn. |

Well it looks to me that Jesus had a few things to say about faith. Pay attention to verse 12. Matthew 8 :: King James Version (KJV) 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. |

3 | Holy Spirit and the tribulation | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 71987
The Creator Father is one Holy Spirit, Lord God Almighty is another Holy Spirit and Jesus (the Lamb in the Book of Revelations is another Holy Spirit. Jesus will be the master of Earth's timeline (about 1,000 years) DURING the tribulation. The people of the Earth who are not Raptured, will stay on Earth and earn their wings. How you say? Trial by fire - standing up to evil. Its what you do - not what you say that will enable a judgement to be made. The anti-christ will rampage on a part of the Earth (not all) as people assume. War enables a soul to rise to the level - that one does not care about themselves. They will fight evil and in the doing gain eternity. But back to your question - Yes Jesus will be hear (he is the one chosen by the Creator Father) To lead Fathers children out of slavery. Revelation 4 8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 4 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 71988
1. Creator Father 2. Only begotten of Father, The Word - Immanuel The God Almighty. 3. Son of God - Jesus (People in all of the Bible Jesus never DECLARES HIMSELF God. Immanunel is Jesus Father. There were TWO virgin births on Earth, not one as most Christians belive. Immanuel stayes behind the scene for his own reason - which I suppose he will tell us some day. As I do not speak for Immanuel. Ask yourself what is the Holy Trinity? 1. Father 2. The Word was with God and the word was God 3. The Holy Spirit. Jesus cannot be The Word and the Holy Spirit, because Jesus never says he is God. Jesus does say that he is the Son of God and that he is in service to "my Father'. |

5 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 72014
Joseph the Earthly Father of Jesus was working class. Butter and Honey cost alot of money in the time period of the birth of Immanuel. Also the Book of Isaiah was written hundreds of years before the book of Matthew. The verses in Isaiah as follows - 10 Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. |

My friend you need to read what the Bible says in the Books of Matthew. The Book of Isaiah the "PROPHET" is a sealed work. In order to unseal the work you need the code. You can read bits and pieces. Like the virgin birth of Immanuel, however a true understanding of the entire work is not possible. Until the work is unsealed. The Book of Matthew the "APOSTLE" is not a sealed work, it is a story as seen by the mind, heart and soul of said Apostle. Both writings are hundreds of years apart. And it is not proper for you to say what Jesus is entitled to unless you have had a conversation with the son (face to face). |

The word Trinity is not found in the scriptures. It is a Latin word meaning threefold (united). |

8 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 72021
In the Book of Matthew Jesus is born. In the Book of Isaiah Immanuel was born. The two writings are hundreds of years apart. New Testiments and Old Test. Moses was not speaking to Jesus - he was speaking to the Prince of the air - an Alpha and Omega. The Prince said I am what I am. Moses "chose to see the Prince as God". I am what I am means (what you see is what you get). An Angelic two step! Angel talk. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. KJV |

9 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 72022
I agree with your observation up to the point that Jesus can also be called Immanuel. This cannot be the case. As Matthew writes about the Birth of Jesus and "LINKS" Jesus to the prophet that wrote of the Birth of Immanuel. Jesus never claimed to be God. God is with us is Immanuel. |

10 | Finding 'Act as though you have faith' | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 72033
The original point to this thread was that faith is a granting. That you have to do nothing but belive. Jesus went to work. So must we. By your fruits (works) you are known. The words of Jesus about the Roman Centurion says much. First you have to have faith in yourself , (that you have seen, heard and understand) what Jesus is saying about the Roman Centurion ( a man of responsibility) are in the words spoken by Jesus. Next Jesus says (in my understanding) that blind belief is not enough. You have to think, look at the proof and then judge if someone or something is good or evil, by their actions. Seems to me the children Jesus speaks of that are cast into darkness have not thought things out in the search for truth, or upon finding truth have done little to advance the truth. And yet at first they sit down with the families in the Kingdom. All the heads of the families listed in the verses have worked hard and done much in service to Father. The first work starts with oneself. |

Saved by grace? I would be careful about assuming that one is saved by grace. The ones in the Bible who might be saved by grace are addressed very specifically. Seems to me one reaches a level of understanding threw experiance were grace can be bestowed. But it (grace) does not seem to be an across the board granting, until one is found worthy. I could be wrong. If so show me the verse in the Bible. |

Joe - there are Whole Chapters in the Bible that are a SEALED work. The book of Isaih, Daniel and Revelations. How can you reform Christianity when you do not know the mind or will of God on these matters? Christians in the past have killed thousands in the name of reform. You should raise your level of understaning. There is only one who speaks for Father (God) and that is the Son of God - Jesus. The Apostle John points the way in his writings of John chapter 1,2,3 and his writings of Revelation. You see the Son of God got it right the first time - he knows what his children need. :) Matthew 7 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. |

You have spoken true EdB. What is remarkable is that Jesus gave the Centurion such a great compliment on the issue of Faith. Christianity is one good road to Father (the Truth) but not the only road (journey) to Father. All the great religions of the world say the same thing - it is better to be a good person than a bad one. All of the great religions of the world have an end times story - judgement day. |

Show me the verse Bradk where "YOU" are saved by grace? Romans 5:8 was written by Paul for the people of that day and life. Christ might have died for them, but not for you. Consider - all of the planets inhabited in the "UNIVERSE". If Christ were to die on each planet (a horrible death) who would want the job? You must stand on the truth and example of Christ as a brother, not a child. That is what Christ seeks from man and woman kind - brotherhood. We as a people today are ready. At the time Jesus walked the Earth there was no airplane. Today many people of the world may travel on one. Do you think the Son of God would choose a camel instead? If so - show me the verse where you are saved by grace. The reason you can not is because it is not so. You must do good works in order to achive grace. There is no free lunch. The reason Jesus had and has so much grace is because he does good things all the time. So can you. So can I. One day at a time. |

Let the Bible interpret itself? Gimmie a break. In order to unseal a prophecy you need the code. I can tell you this the Book of Revelations has been decoded. The problem is that you believe with liner eyes. Birth to death. The soul (Spirt) does not die unless you choose perdition (look up the word "perdition") in the King James version. Also Rev 10 does not show me that the time has come - it only showes me that you choose to believe your own mind - in your understanding of Rev 10. Also the Bible has 10 commandments not "The ten warnings" Your duty is to your God your family then your country. Sermon on the warning? Well anything is possible. |

OH Hank I forgot Jesus said Christianity was the only way. You know Jesus incarnated as man once. He has the ability to incarnate as man more than once. Take a look at the Seven Angels of the churches in Revelations - they to walk as man upon the Earth in service to Father for your benefit. I do not ask for your believe. The words Jesus spoke (as you wrote them) say what the say - show me the verse in the Bible. Any way I see no commdenation of other religions by Jesus. And the Son would not - because he is not a bigot (one who is not intolerant of others). Like the Jews for instance. Hows that fer proof? HUH:) |

19 | Aften1, are you a Christian? | Bible general Archive 1 | aften1 | 72254
Well done Pastor Glenn: Notice in Revelation 21:22 the Lord God Almighty is spoken of , also the Lamb. These are two different personalities. Immanuel and Jesus are spoken of here. Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Also as an after thought notice in Rev15 song of Moses, song of the Lamb and the Praise given to the Lord God Almighty. Revelation 15 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. There is only on verse in the KJV of the Bible where the word Omnipotent appears. This would be the Creator Father - Father of Immanuel and by extension Jesus for all are one. And that verse is Rev 19:6 Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. As to your question: Am I Christian? I stand in service to Father and the honor is mine. |

On the issue of being saved by gace in one sence we are, because Jesus lived, did works and defines what grace is. We hope to be saved by grace - I.E. Jesus knows what he is doing, however I can find not verse that point blank says we are saved by grace. I think one can achive a state of grace - threw the journey of mortality. Example - when your kids were young they looked to you with much love and trust. When they reached their teenage years, they can not "belive" how stupied their parents are. Then later in life they are gentle and gracefull with their parents because they - "get it". In measure grace is restored to them because they (like you) to the journey. As a side note Jesus did not seem to display much grace when it came to the money changers in the temple. (The man could become angry). After that incident the temporal powers at that time plotted his murder. Jesus was messing with their money. Salvation implies you are a wreck. Hearing the truth and understanding - means you are ready for reality. I do not debate peoples belifes,. I am here to speak the truth in order that others my free themselves, by useing their God given good powers of reasoning and logic. Today we have the Bible to read. Back when Jesus walked the Earth they did not. They did have reality right in their face. That reality seems upon us today. |
